The operating instructions are a constituent of this product. They contain important information about safety, use and disposal. Before using the product, familiarise yourself with all operating and safety instructions. Use this product only as described and only for the specified areas of application. Please also pass these operating instructions on to any future owner(s).

This appliance is intended exclusively for making smoothies in small quantities. This appliance is intended exclusively for use in domestic households. Not to be used for commercial purposes.

CO time
The CO time (continuous operation time) is the amount of time an appliance can be operated without the motor overheating and becoming damaged. When the specified CO time has been reached, the appliance must be switched off until the motor has cooled down to room temperature.
What is a smoothie?
A smoothie is a so-called "whole-fruit drink".
Smoothies contain processed whole fruits without the peel and core. This gives rise to a creamy consistency. When preparing drinks there is no limit to the possibilities: you can add yoghurt, crushed ice, herbs or ice cream to your smoothies.
Safety instructions
The appliance must only be connected to correctly installed and earthed mains power sockets. Ensure that the rating of the local power supply corresponds with the details on the rating plate of the appliance.
- Ensure that the power cable does not become wet or moist during use. Route the cable in such a way that it cannot be crushed or damaged.
- Keep the power cable away from hot surfaces.
- Do not perform any repairs on the appliance. All repairs must be performed by our Customer Services or by qualified personnel.
- Remove the plug from the mains power socket when the appliance is being cleaned or in the event of a fault. Switching the appliance off is insufficient, since the appliance receives power for as long as the plug is connected to the mains power socket.
- To avoid risks, have defective plugs and/or power cables replaced immediately by qualified technicians or our Customer Service Department.
The appliance and its connecting cable must be kept away from children.
Never submerge the appliance in water or other liquids.
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
Always disconnect the appliance from the mains power supply when fitting or removing accessory parts. This will prevent unintentional activation of the appliance.
- The appliance should always be disconnected from the mains when not supervised and before assembly, disassembly or cleaning.
This appliance may not be used by children.
- Only use the original accessory parts for this appliance. Accessory parts from other manufacturers may not be suitable, and this may lead to risks!
- This appliance can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning safe use of the appliance, and if they are aware of the potential risks.
Children must not play with the appliance.

- Do not change accessories unless the drive is stationary and the mixer is unplugged from the power supply! The appliance will run on for a short time after being switched off!

- Before changing accessories or additional parts that are in motion during operation, the appliance must be switched off and disconnected from mains power.
ATTENTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!
- Never fill the appliance with hard ingredients such as nuts, stalks, large grains or seeds!
- Never fill the appliance with hot ingredients!
- Do not use the appliance to crush ice cubes.
Before first use
1) Remove all of the parts from the box and remove the packaging material and any protective film.
2) Clean all components as described in Chapter "Cleaning and care". Ensure that all parts are completely dry.
Preparing ingredients
■ Remove all peel, such as orange peel or kiwi skin, from the fruit.
Remove large pips and stones, such as found in peaches, from the fruits.
Cut the fruit into small pieces (approx. 1 - 2 cm).
- Crush the ice cubes before adding these to the appliance!
Chop herbs or salads into small pieces.
ATTENTION! DAMAGE TO PROPERTY!
- Never add whole ice cubes to the appliance to produce crushed ice!
Operating the appliance
1) Place the base 5 on a clean and level surface.
2) Fill the prepared ingredients in the blender jug 1 Always add liquid ingredients fi rst and then the more solid ingredients such as the fruit and/or crushed ice.
ATTENTION! DAMAGE TO PROPERTY!
- Never fill the blender jug ① with ingredients up to more than the MAX marking! The appliance will not be able to process the ingredients!
3) Place the blade holder 4 on the blender jug 1 so that the blade 3 extends into the blender jug 1, and screw the blade holder 4 firmly in place.
4) Now place the blade holder 4 along with the attached blender jug 1 onto the base 5 such that the arrow on the base 5 is pointing to the symbol on the blade holder 4.
ATTENTION! DAMAGE TO PROPERTY!
To turn the blade holder 4, only hold the blade holder 4 and never try to turn the blender jug 1! Otherwise the blender jug 1 will detach and the ingredients will spill out!
5) Turn the blade holder 4 so that the arrow on the base 5 points to the symbol on the blade holder 4. The blade holder 4 must audibly click into place so that it sits firmly on the base 5.
6) Insert the plug into a mains power socket.
7) Press and hold the start button ⑥ until the smoothie has reached the desired consistency!

NOTE
If the ingredients do not mix properly, it may be necessary to lift up the appliance and shake it a little. When doing so, hold the blade holder together with the blender jug 1 and the base 5 so that they do not come apart.
ATTENTION! DAMAGE TO PROPERTY!
Do not operate the appliance for longer than 1 minute in one session. The appliance will overheat! After using for 1 minute, allow the appliance to cool down completely.
8) When the smoothie is ready, turn the blade holder 4 until the arrow on the base 5 points to the symbol on the blade holder 4 and remove the blade holder 4 with the attached blender jug 1.
9) Turn the blender jug ① over and unscrew the blade holder ④.
10) Screw the lid 2 off the blender jug 1. You can drink the smoothie through the drinking opening on the lid 2.
You can now prepare a second smoothie using the second blender jug 1.
Cleaning and care

DANGER - ELECTRIC SHOCK!
Before cleaning the appliance, disconnect the plug from the mains power socket! Risk of electric shock!

NEVER submerse the base 5 in water or other fluids!
It is best to clean the appliance directly after use. This makes food residues easier to remove.
ATTENTION! DAMAGE TO PROPERTY!
Do not use abrasive or aggressive cleaning materials. These could damage the surface of the appliance!
Wipe the base 5 with a moist cloth. For stubborn soiling use a mild detergent on the cloth. Wipe off any detergent residue with a cloth moistened with clean water.
Clean the blender jug 1, the blade holder 4 with blade 3 and the lid 2 in warm water with a little mild detergent. Afterwards, rinse all parts with clean water so that no detergent residues remain.
NOTE
If you clean the appliance directly after use, you will usually achieve sufficiently hygienic cleaning results for the blender jug 1 and the blade holder 4 by using the following alternatives:
- Fill the blender jug ① with 400 ml of water and add a few drops of mild detergent.
- Attach the blade holder 4 and screw both onto the base 5.
Press the start button 6 a few times so that the blade 3 ploughs through the water. - Afterwards, rinse the blender jug 1 and the blade holder 4 with plenty of clear water so that all detergent residues are removed.
After cleaning, dry all parts thoroughly.
NOTE
- You can also clean the lid ②, the blender jug ① and the blade holder ④ in your dishwasher. Place the parts, where possible, in the upper basket and ensure that none of the parts can get stuck. Otherwise they could become deformed.
Storage
Store the cleaned appliance in a clean, dust-free and dry location.
Troubleshooting

Recipes
Pineapple-spinach smoothie
Ingredients
100 g fresh baby spinach
75 ml water
2 pineapple rings
Prepare the pineapple and spinach as described in the Chapter "Preparing ingredients".
Add the water followed by the pineapple and the spinach to the blender jug 1 and close this with the blade holder 4.
Blend everything until all of the ingredients are thoroughly pureed and mixed.
Romaine lettuce smoothie
Ingredients
3 leaves of romaine lettuce
75 ml water
1/2 banana
1/2 mango
1/2 orange
Prepare the fruits as described in the Chapter "Preparing ingredients".
Remove the stem from the romain lettuce leaves and chop up the leaves a little.
Add the water followed by the fruit and the lettuce to the blender jug 1 and close this with the blade holder 4.
Blend everything until all of the ingredients are thoroughly pureed and mixed.
Banana-kiwi smoothie
Ingredients
200 ml orange juice (freshly pressed)
1 kiwi
1/2 banana
Prepare the fruits as described in the Chapter "Preparing ingredients".
Add the orange juice followed by the fruit to the blender jug 1 and close this with the blade holder 4.
Blend everything until all of the ingredients are thoroughly pureed and mixed.
Carrot greens and spinach smoothie
Ingredients
150 ml water
15 g fresh baby spinach
15 g carrot greens
1/2 orange
50 g mango flesh
1/2 banana
1 tablespoon of linseed oil
Prepare the fruits as described in the Chapter "Preparing ingredients".
Chop the carrot greens and the spinach.
Add the water followed by the fruit, the spinach and the carrot greens to the blender jug 1 and close this with the blade holder 4.
Blend everything until all of the ingredients are thoroughly pureed and mixed.
Tropical smoothie
Ingredients
100 g coconut milk
2 pineapple rings
1 kiwi
1/2 banana
Prepare the fruits as described in the Chapter "Preparing ingredients".
Add the coconut milk followed by the fruit to the blender jug 1 and close this with the blade holder 4.
Blend everything until all of the ingredients are thoroughly pureed and mixed.
Berry-vanilla smoothie
Ingredients
100 ml apple juice
150 g berries (deep frozen, e.g. strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, etc.)
100 g vanilla yoghurt
Add the apple juice and vanilla yoghurt followed by the berries to the blender jug 1 and close this with the blade holder 4.
Blend everything until all of the ingredients are thoroughly pureed and mixed.
Pineapple and berry smoothie
Ingredients
50 ml orange juice
50 ml pineapple juice
100 g berries (deep frozen, e.g. strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, etc.)
1 pineapple ring
100 g natural yoghurt
Prepare the pineapple as described in the Chapter "Preparing ingredients".
Add the orange juice, the pineapple juice and the natural yoghurt and then the berries and the pineapple to the blender jug 1.
Close this with the blade holder 4.
Blend everything until all of the ingredients are thoroughly pureed and mixed.

Warranty and service
The warranty provided for this appliance is 3 years from the date of purchase. This appliance has been manufactured with care and inspected meticulously prior to delivery. Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In the event of a warranty claim, please contact your Customer Service by telephone. This is the only way to guarantee free return of your goods.
The warranty only covers claims for material and manufacturing defects, not for transport damage, wearing parts or for damage to fragile components such as switches or batteries. This appliance is intended solely for private use and not for commercial purposes.
The warranty is deemed void if this product has been subjected to improper or inappropriate handling, abuse or modifi cations which were not carried out by one of our authorised service centres.
Your statutory rights are not restricted in any way by this warranty.
The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs made under the warranty. This also applies to replaced and repaired parts. Damage and defects present at the time of purchase must be reported immediately after unpacking, or no later than two days after the date of purchase. Repairs made after expiry of the warranty period are chargeable.
