Please read all the instructions before using your product, particularly these basic safety instructions.

Always place the device on a hard, flat, horizontal surface inside. Keep it away from walls and heat sources such as stoves, radiators, etc. Please note: If it is not placed on a horizontal surface, it may not work properly. Check that your mains voltage is the same as that of your device. Do not connect or disconnect

the plug with wet hands. If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by a similar cable available from the supplier or the supplier's after-sales department. Do not leave the device in the sun for a long period of time. Do not take the device apart entirely. Do not lift the glass cover when the device is on. If you notice a suspicious smell or sound, switch the device off immediately and consult the "Troubleshooting" section of these instructions for use. If the problem persists, ask the supplier or its after-sales department to check the device. Do not use essential oils that are not recommended for diffusion. To find out which essential oils are recommended,

consult the advice provided in these instructions for use. Do not use perfume or synthetic essences as these could damage the device. Unplug the device before cleaning it. Use only the mains adaptor supplied with this device. The adaptor supplied must be used only with the device and not for other purposes. Do not wash the entire unit with water and do not immerse it in water. Consult the cleaning instructions in this manual. Do not use any chemical products (such as acids, alkalis, etc.) or corrosive detergents to clean the device. Never scrape the transducer with a hard tool and consult the cleaning instructions in this manual. Be sure never to empty the water from the reservoir

through the exhaust vents as this would damage the diffuser. Tip the water out of the side opposite the exhaust vent. For optimum maintenance, use mineral water. Do not fill above the line indicating the maximum water level. Always pour the water in before adding essential oils. Do not use essential oils without diluting them in water. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.

Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision. Children should be supervised to make sure they do not play with the device. Use this device only for its intended purpose, as described in these instructions for use.

Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Moya by LANA-FORM. With its ceramic shell filtering the light and its natural bamboo base, the Moya essential oil diffuser combines well-being and quality. What is more, it assists soothing breathing through light cycles. The light intensity increases for 5 seconds, then decreases for 5 seconds. The aim is to synchronise breathing with these cycles so as to reproduce the "cardiac coherence" respiration exercise. The aim of this breathing technique is to regulate the heart rate and the autonomous nervous system with the aim of relaxing and improving the body's functions. Practised regularly, it brings numerous benefits to mental, emotional and physical health.

Preparation 2

01 Put the Moya diffuser in the room half an hour before turning it on to allow it to adjust to room temperature.
02 Make sure it is always placed on a hard, flat and horizontal surface.
03 Make sure the device is clean before starting to use it.
04 Remove the ceramic cover 1
05 Then remove the reservoir cover 2
06 Pour fresh, preferably demineralised water into the reservoir and do not exceed the maximum level
07 Pour 3 or 4 drops of essential oil into the water
08 Replace the reservoir cover then the ceramic cover 5
09 Make sure your hands are completely dry when connecting (and even disconnecting) the device
10 The diffuser is now operational.

Instructions for use

Adjusting diffusion and timer

• Press once on the button for adjusting diffusion and timer 2 start diffusion. It runs in continuous diffusion mode by default; three indicators light up 1
• Press a second time on the button for programming diffusion for 1 hour; the indicator on the left lights up
• Press a third time on the button for programming diffusion for 3 hours; the middle indicator lights up ③
• Press the button for programming diffusion for 8 hours a fourth time; the indicator on the right lights up
• Press the button for stopping diffusion a fifth time; there are no longer any light indicators 5
• To go to intermittent diffusion mode (30 seconds ON; 30 seconds OFF), press the button for 2 seconds; a light indicator will flash.
• Repeat this operation to go back to continuous diffusion mode
  The timer is not interrupted when the diffusion mode has changed.

Adjusting the light mode

• Press the button for adjusting the light once 10 activate the light with a greater intensity.
• Press the button for reducing the intensity a second time.
• Press the button for starting the "breathing" mode a third time; the light intensity increases for 5 seconds, then decreases for 5 seconds, in cycles.
• Press the button a fourth time to switch off the light.
  The light switches off by default when diffusion stops (either with the timer, or with the system that automatically switches off when the reservoir is empty). But it is possible to programme the light separately from diffusion.
  To do that, press the two buttons at the same time 10th left-hand and middle indicators light up you will then be able to enjoy the atmospheric lighting, even after diffusion stops.
  To de-activate independent programming of the light, press both buttons again at the same time. The middle and right-hand indicators will light up

Even though there is a safety device that stops the transducer from working, do not leave the device connected when you are not using it.
Additional information about the use of essential oils:

Before using essential oils, please check the harmful effects that use of these products may have on your health.

Always choose quality essential oils that are pure, 100% natural and intended for diffusion. Use them in moderation and with care. Follow the instructions and warnings stated on the packaging of the essential oils, making sure in particular that:

• Pregnant women, people with epilepsy, asthmatics and people who suffer from allergies, those with heart problems or serious illnesses should not use essential oils.
  Essential oils should be used only for periods not exceeding 10 minutes in the room of a baby (under 3 years old) and only when the baby is not actually in the room.

Make sure that children and minors do not play with or use the device.

Just a few drops (3 to 4 drops at most) of essential oils are sufficient to ensure that the device

works properly and the scent is diffused. Excessive use of essential oils could damage the device.

Make sure you pour water into the reservoir first before adding the drops of essential oils.

Lanaform cannot be held liable in the event of accidental damage resulting from any use contrary to the instructions given in these instructions for use.

Maintenance and storage

When you are not using the diffuser, empty the water out of the reservoir. Do not tip the water out of the reservoir from the exhaust vent side. If the water gets into the exhaust vent, this might damage the device!

To prevent this from happening:

• Use a container to pour water into the reservoir.
• Do not shake the diffuser.
• Do not move the diffuser when there is water in the reservoir.

If water accidentally enters the exhaust vent

5 there is a safety device for removing water from the base of the diffuser:

• Disconnect the power cable from the diffuser.
• Empty the reservoir completely through the opposite side to the exhaust vent.
• Bend the diffuser towards one of the drainage holes 25 empty the water.
• Leave the diffuser in a dry place for 24 hours.
  Always unplug the device with dry hands before cleaning it!

Maintenance

If the water contains too much calcium and magnesium, it may deposit a white powder in the device. If this foam is deposited on the transducer 2 , 7 will prevent the device from working properly.

We recommend:

01 Using distilled or demineralised water each time it is used.
02 Cleaning the reservoir every 3 days and cleaning the transducer every week.
03 Emptying and cleaning the device (see explanations below) and making sure that all its parts are completely dry when it is not in use.

To clean the transducer:

01 Put 2 to 5 drops of vinegar on its surface and leave them there for 2 to 5 minutes.
02 Brush the foam off the surface with a soft brush or cotton bud. Do not use a hard tool to scrape the surface.
03 Do not use soap, solvent or spray cleaner to clean the transducer.

To clean the reservoir and reservoir cover:

01 Use a soft cloth and vinegar if there are any foam or limescale deposits on the inside.

02 Rinse them in clean water.

Do not use products containing bleach to clean the device, but washing up liquid or vinegar only!
Do not immerse the base water!

Storage

Having cleaned and dried the device, store it in a dry, cool place out of the reach of children.

Breakdowns and solutions

In the event of a malfunction under normal conditions of use, please refer to the following list:

No mist. If there is no light. Check	check that the device	is connected and that there is no mains fault.
	The water level in the reservoir is too low.	Add water to the reservoir.
	The temperature of the unit is too low.	Place the unit in a room at ambient temperature for half an hour prior to use.
Mist has an unusual smell. The	water has been standing in the reservoir for too long.	Clean the reservoir and pour fresh, distilled or dem-ineralised water into it.

Low intensity. Too much or too	little wa- ter in the reservoir.	Empty water out of the res- ervaoir or add water to it.
	Sediment on the transducer. C	clean the transducer.
	The water is too cold. Use water	that is at room temperature.
	The water is not clean. Clean the	reservoir and pour fresh, distilled or dem- ineralised water into it.

Adviceregarding the disposal of waste

All the packaging is composed of materials that pose no hazard for the environment and which can be disposed of at your local sorting centre to be used as secondary raw materials. The cardboard may be disposed of in a paper recycling bin. The packaging film must be taken to your local sorting and recycling centre.

When you have finished using the device, please dispose of it in an environmentally friendly way and in accordance with the law.

Limited warranty

LANAFORM guarantees this product against any material or manufacturing defect for a period of two years from the date of purchase, except in the circumstances described below.

The LANAFORM guarantee does not cover damage caused as a result of normal wear to this product. In addition, the guarantee covering this LANAFORM product does not cover damage caused by abusive or inappropriate or incorrect use, accidents, the use of unauthorized accessories, changes made to the product or any other circumstance, of whatever sort, that is outside LANAFORM's control.

LANAFORM may not be held liable for any type of circumstantial, indirect or specific damage.

All implicit guarantees relating to the suitability of the product are limited to a period of two years from the initial date of purchase as long as a copy of the proof of purchase can be supplied.

On receipt, LANAFORM will repair or replace your appliance at its discretion and will return it to you. The guarantee is only valid through LANAFORM's Service Centre. Any attempt to maintain this product by a person other than LANAFORM's Service Centre will render this guarantee void.
