Thank you for buying the Bora Bora gentle-heat, essential oil diuser by LANAFORM. The Bora Bora diuser combines tech- nology, well-being and design. Very quiet, it diuses a pleasant scent and a soft, colourful atmosphere through- out your home.

Always place the device on a hard, at, horizontal surface inside. Keep it away from walls and heat sources such as stoves, radiators, etc. If it is not placed on a horizontal surface, it may not work properly.

Check that your mains voltage is the same as that of your device.

Do not connect or disconnect the plug with wet hands.

If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced with the same type of cable which is available from the supplier or its after-sales department.

• Do not leave the device in the sun for a long period of time.

Do not dismantle the device entirely.

• Do not lift the cover of the diuser when the device is on. If you notice a suspicious smell or sound, switch the device o immediately and ask the supplier or its after-sales department to check the device.

Do not use essential oils that are not recommended for diusion. To nd out which essential oils are recommended, consult the advice provided in these instructions for use.

Do not use perfume or synthet- ic essences as these could damage the device.

Unplug the device before cleaning it.

Do not wash the entire unit with water and do not immerse it in water. Consult the cleaning instructions in these instructions for use.

The device should be used preferably for one hour at a time, but can be used several times a day if you wish.

To avoid any risk of burns, do not touch the bottom of the bottle of essential oil or glass container of essential oils when removing them from the device. Take great care when handling essential oils that are still hot.

• This device is not intended for use by people, including children, with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or people with lack of experience or knowledge, unless someone responsible for their safety can supervise or instruct them be- forehand on how to use the device. Children should be supervised to make sure they do not play with the device.

Use this device only for its intended purpose, as described in these instruc- tions for use. Place the Bora Bora in the room half an hour before turning it on to allow it to adjust to room temperature.

• Check that the diuser is clean. 1 Remove the cover from the base of the diuser. 2 Insert the 10-ml bottle of essential oil in the tank provided for this purpose. You can also ll the glass container with essential oils. Make sure you remove the cap beforehand as well as the bottle’s seal. Do not touch the bottom of these two containers when removing them from the device or the remaining essential oils so that you do not burn yourself (see ¶ on “Basic Safety Information”). 3 Replace the cover on the diuser’s base by inserting the stem into the bottle of essential oil or the glass container. 4 With dry hands, connect the power supply plug or connect the USB cable to your computer. 5 Press the button to switch on the device. The mist it diuses creates an atmosphere that encourages relaxation. The diuser has several functions: 1 Press ( 1 5) once to start scented diusion and atmospheric light eects. The device switches o auto- matically after one hour. 2 Press a second time to set the atmospheric colour of your choice. Press when you see the light colour you want. The device switches o automatically after one hour. 3 Press a third time to switch o the diuser. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Before using essential oils, please check the harmful eects that use of these products may have on your health. Always choose quality essential oils that are pure, 100% natural and intended for diusion. Use them in moderation and with care. Follow the instructions and warnings stated on the packaging of the essential oils, in particular noting that: Pregnant women, people with epilepsy, asthmatics and people who suer from allergies, and those with heart problems or serious illnesses should not use essential oils. Make sure that children and minors do not play with or use the device. LANAFORM cannot be held liable in the event of accidental damage resulting from any use contrary to the instructions given in these in- structions for use.

MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE

MAINTENANCE We recommend cleaning the reservoir and the stem each time you change the essential oil. Gently clean the surface of the device using a soft cloth. Do not use a hard tool to scrape the surface. Do not use soap, solvent or spray cleaner. STORAGE Having cleaned and dried the device, store it in a dry, cool place out of the reach of children. THE DISPOSAL OF WASTE

All the packaging is composed of ma- terials that pose no hazard for the environment and which can be dis- posed of at your local sorting centre to be used as secondary raw materials. The cardboard may be disposed of in a paper recycling bin. The packaging lm must be taken to your local sort- ing and recycling centre. When you have nished using the device, please dispose of it in an en- vironmentally friendly way and in accordance with the law. LIMITED WARRANTY LANAFORM guarantees this product against any material or manufactur- ing defect for a period of two years from the date of purchase, except in the circumstances described below. The LANAFORM guarantee does not cover damage caused as a result of normal wear to this product. In ad- dition, the guarantee covering this LANAFORM product does not cover damage caused by abusive or inap- propriate or incorrect use, accidents, the use of unauthorized accessories, changes made to the product or any other circumstance, of whatever sort, that is outside LANAFORM’s control. LANAFORM may not be held liable for any type of circumstantial, indirect or specic damage. All implicit guarantees relating to the suitability of the product are limit- ed to a period of two years from the initial date of purchase as long as a copy of the proof of purchase can be supplied. On receipt, LANAFORM will repair or replace your appliance at its discretion and will return it to you. The guarantee is only valid through LANAFORM’s Service Centre.
