What type of mattress should be used for the LUNKY cot?

The cot is designed for a mattress of dimensions 120 x 60 cm with a maximum thickness of 9 cm. Ensure that the gap between the mattress and the sides does not exceed 3 cm.

How to adjust the mattress base height?

The cot has 3 height positions. To adjust them, unscrew the base fastenings and reposition it at the desired height. The lowest position is recommended as soon as the child can sit up unaided.

Can I use the daybed function for a child under 18 months?

No, the daybed function is intended for children from 18 months to 4 years. For younger children, use the cot in standard configuration with both sides.

How to clean the LUNKY cot?

Clean the frame with a clean damp cloth. Use a mild detergent if necessary. Do not use abrasive products, do not machine wash, do not bleach, do not iron, do not tumble dry.

Is the cot delivered with a mattress?

The cot is available in two versions: with or without mattress. Check at the time of purchase if the mattress is included.

What are the important safety instructions?

Do not place the cot near heat sources, windows, or other furniture. Regularly check that all fastenings are tight. Use only the appropriate mattress. Remove objects that could be used as a step or pose a suffocation risk.

Can the cot be used for a child who stands up?

How to assemble the LUNKY cot?

Assembly requires two people. Follow the steps in the manual: assemble the front panels with the feet, attach the base with the screws, then add the sides. Use the provided Allen key and tighten all screws. For the daybed function, replace one side with the side panel.

What is the warranty period?

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS AND PRECAUTIONS

WARNING

• Be aware of the risk of open fire and other sources of strong heat, such as electric bar fires, gas fires, etc. in the near vicinity of the cot;
• Do not place this child's bed near heat sources, windows and other furniture.
• Do not use the cot if any part is broken, torn or missing and use only spare parts approved by the manufacturer; spare parts may be only delivered by manufacturer.
• Do not leave anything in the cot or place the cot close to another product, which could provide a foothold or present a danger of suffocation or strangulation, e.g. strings, blind/curtain cords. Another products should be placed either tight to any wall or have a gap of 300mm between the wall and the side of the bed;
• Do not use more than one mattress in the cot.
• The lowest position of the base is the safest. When a child starts to sit down without the assistance – use only this level.
• Thickness of the mattress shall be such that the internal height (measured from the top of mattress to the upper edge of the cot frame) was at least 500mm in the lowest position of the cot base and at least 200mm in the highest position of the cot base.
  Maximum thickness of the mattress: 9 cm.
• Mattress should have size 120 × 60 cm. Length and width shall be that there shall be no gap more than 30mm between the mattress and the sides and ends.

• All assembly elements and fittings should be tightened properly and checked regularly and retightened as necessary.

• Cot with high sides: To prevent injury from falls, if the child is able to climb out of the cot, the cot shall no longer be used for that child.

• The bed is intended for children from birth to 4 years of age. Note! The sofa-bed function of the baby cot is intended for children from 18 months to 4 years of age.
• For transport or storage it is possible to disconnect the main parts of the cot.

2. Cot assembly:

The installation should take place on a soft surface that will not damage the surface of the elements. Installation should be carried out by two people. Start assembling the cot by connecting the element (1) and legs (5,6) with the confirmat (D) and the Allen key (F) included in the set (fig. I). Repeat the same operation on the second element (1). Connect the resulting elements to the bottom (3) with the mounting kit (B) + (E) and Allen key (fig. II). ATTENTION: The cot has a 3-step bottom height adjustment. Connect the side (2) to the structure assembled in the previous steps by screwing it in with screws (C) and an Allen key (fig. IIIa). Repeat the same operation on the other side. To use is as a toddler bed, remove one of the sides (2) beforehand, and install it there using the screws (B) and wheel nuts (E) on the side (4) (fig IIIb). In addition, connect the centre of the side panel (4) to the bottom using screw A and nut E. NOTE: The toddler bed can only be used with the bottom in the lowest position. The cot is ready for use once the mattress is inserted and all attachments are firmly secured (7* - CAUTION! The cot is available in two versions: with or without a mattress).

3. Maintenance and cleaning

Frame - clean with a soft, clean and dry cloth.

Handwash.	Do not wash. Clean the product gently with a damp cloth and a mild detergent.

Do not fold or store the product when it is wet and never store it in wet conditions, as it can lead to mould growth.

4. Warranty

A. All Kinderkraft products are covered by a 24-month warranty. The warranty period begins on the date of releasing the product to the Buyer.
B. The warranty is valid for products sold in the following countries: France, Spain, Germany, Poland, United Kingdom, Italy.
C. In countries not listed above warranty terms and conditions are determined by the Seller.
D. It is possible to extend the warranty period to 120 months (10 years). Full text of the terms and conditions and warranty extension registration form are available at www.KINDERKRAFT.COM
E. The warranty is valid only in the country where the purchase was made.
F. Complaints should be submitted by completing the form available at www.RMA.KINDERKRAFT.COM
G. The warranty shall not cover:

a. claims arising from product specifications, as long as they comply with those specified by the manufacturer in the instruction manual or other documents of a legislative nature;
b. product damage caused by improper maintenance or use of inadequate chemicals;
c. colour change (discoloration) when the product has been exposed to direct sunlight against the instructions provided in the instruction manual;
d. tear, wear, crack of fabric/plastic that is the fault of the Customer;
e. reduction in the quality of the product and consumables due to normal wear and tear;
f. products which have not been used according to specifications;

H. The warranty period for accessories attached to the device is 6 months from the date of sale, with the exception of mechanical damage.

1. With regard to Products such as furniture, the Customer is obliged to deliver the Product only at the express request of the Warrantor. In such a case, the Product should be packed in a way that allows for safe transport, i.e., if possible, in the original packaging, or, if there is no original packaging, in substitute, cubic packaging, which protects the Product against damage in transport. The Guarantor reserves the right not to collect the Product if it is packed in an incorrect way, until the indicated irregularities are removed.
   J. The warranty claim for Products such as furniture is considered on the basis of the complaint form available at www.rma.kinderkraft.com and the attached photos. In case the piece of furniture is shipped by the Customer on its own, i.e. before the previous instruction from the Guarantor, referred to in point I above, the Guarantor is not obliged to refund the costs incurred in this way and take any actions resulting from the Guarantee.
   K. These guarantee terms and conditions are complementary to the Customer's rights in relation to 4KRAFT sp. z o.o. The warranty shall not exclude, limit or suspend the rights of the Customer arising from the provisions on the warranty for defects in the goods sold.
