In standby mode, press button B for 3 seconds to enter setting mode. Use buttons A (+) and C (-) to change values. Press B to confirm and move to the next setting. After 3 minutes without any action, the device automatically exits setting mode.
What is the difference between walking time and active walking time?
Active walking time corresponds to minutes when your pace exceeds a threshold determined by your weight and height. According to the WHO, 30 minutes of active walking per day are beneficial for health. The device distinguishes the two periods to motivate you to increase your pace.
How can I view the last 7 days history?
Navigate through the modes until you reach the 'Memory' mode. You will then see the data from previous days (distance, active time, total time, calories). Use buttons A or C to scroll through the days.
Can I use this pedometer for running?
No, the ONstep 600 is designed only for walking on flat ground. Running or hiking on hilly terrain will produce highly inaccurate measurements because the device does not incorporate gradient.
How do I fully reset the device?
Press all 4 buttons (A, B, C, D) simultaneously for 3 seconds. This restores factory settings. Note that all your personal data will be erased.
What does the symbol 'WR 3 ATM' mean?
It indicates water resistance up to a pressure equivalent to 30 meters, meaning splashes and brief immersion. Do not dive with the device or use it for swimming.
How do I change the battery?

This product measures the distance covered, walking time and active walking time as well as the calories burnt. A 7-day history allows you to check your progress and give yourself objectives for improving.

Device navigation screen:

A : Navigation between the different modes / Increase (+) the value when in setting mode
B : Back-light / Switch to "Setting" / Validation mode √
C : Navigation between the different modes / Decrease (+) the value when in setting mode
D : Reset to zero / Exit setting mode

USE

This pedometer watch has been designed to measure the different parameters of your walk on flat terrain.

Technically, these measurements are carried out by registering the shockwaves created as your foot makes contact with the ground.

For the most precise measurement possible it is recommended to attach this pedometer watch to your left wrist.

This product has not been designed for running, nor for walking on hilly or uneven ground because the measurement will be very inaccurate (unable to take into account differences in level).

Also walking on soft or muddy ground causes an imprecision of around 5%.

ACTIVE MINUTE

Your pedometer measures and differentiates walking from active walking in order to help motivate you to walk more and at a faster pace every day.

What is Active Walking?

This notion is linked to the recommendation from the World Health Organisation (WHO) to walk for 30 minutes every day at a fast pace. Active walking is walking at a fast pace, which, according to the WHO, is more beneficial to your health (helps to counter obesity, heart disease, stress).

Technically, how does it work?

A patented algorithm has been designed by Oxylane's Research & Development service based on your weight and height in order to determine the threshold at which active walking begins.

Above this threshold (step frequency) you are in active walking, the most beneficial kind of walking for your health.

INITIAL SETTING OF THE PEDOMETER

To start up the product, press the button at the top right.

You will automatically be taken to the device's set-up menu.

Changing the values is carried out using buttons A (+) and C (-).
