General Notes
Read the operating instructions carefully before putting the appliance into operation and keep the instructions including the warranty, the receipt and, if possible, the box with the internal packing. If you give this appliance to other people, please also pass on the operating instructions.
- The appliance is designed exclusively for private use and for the envisaged purpose. This appliance is not fit for commercial use.
- Do not use it outdoors. Keep it away from sources of heat, direct sunlight, humidity (never dip it into any liquid) and sharp edges. Do not use the appliance with wet hands. If the appliance is humid or wet, unplug it immediately.
- Always unplug the appliance (pull the plug itself, not the cable) when you do not use the appliance, or when you attach accessories, during cleaning, or in case of malfunction.
- Do not operate the appliance without supervision. Always remove the mains plug from the socket when leaving the room.
- The appliance and the mains lead have to be checked regularly for signs of damage. If damage is found the appliance must not be used.
- Do not repair the appliance by yourself. Always contact an authorized technician.
- Use only original spare parts.
- In order to ensure your children's safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.

Special Safety Instructions for the Appliance
- This appliance is used for heating up food. Do not operate the appliance without any food.
- The appliance gets very hot during operation. Be aware of escaping steam.
- Use oven mitts while the appliance is in operation.
- Before inserting or removing accessories, disconnect the plug from the power outlet.
- Do not let dry food heat up in the appliance for too long. Danger of fire!
- Do not operate the appliance in the microwave.
- Do not store the appliance in the refrigerator.

Never wrap foils or other materials around the appliance or food you want to heat up.

Only use cutlery made of plastic to protect the appliance against scratches.
Always open the steam valve on the lid before use. - This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance. - Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
- If a power cord from this appliance becomes damaged, it must be replaced by a special cord which is available from the manufacturer or their customer service.

Only use the appliance in dry indoor areas. It is intended for domestic use and similar applications such as:

in staff kitchens in shops, offices and other commercial areas; It is not intended for use in agricultural estates, by customers in hotels, motels and other residential establishments as well as in bed and breakfasts.

CAUTION:
Do not immerse the appliance into water for cleaning. Please follow the instructions as stipulated in the chapter "Cleaning".
Unpacking the Appliance
- Remove the appliance from its packaging.
- Remove all packaging materials such as films, filler material, cable clips and carton.
- Check the contents for completeness.
- In case of incomplete delivery or damage, do not operate the appliance. Return it to your dealer immediately.

OTE:
Production residue or dust may have collected on the appliance. We recommend cleaning the appliance according to chapter "Cleaning".

Electrical Connection
Check whether the electrical voltage that you intend to use is the same as that of the appliance. You will find the information about this on the type plate.
Using the Appliance
- Place the large container into the housing. Note the recess on the container.
- If required, insert the small container. Again, note the recesses.

NOTE:
The small container can be used, for example, for desserts, side dishes or sauces. It may be removed prior to the heating-up procedure, depending on your preference.
- Put the food into the containers.
- Use the lid and close the small container.

Put the lid on and close the latches.
-
Open the cap of the connector socket on the right side of the appliance.
- Plug the power cord into the socket on the appliance.
- Open the steam valve by pressing it down firmly in the middle. The edge of the steam valve must face up. This allows the steam to escape during operation.
- Only connect the appliance to a properly installed safety socket. The control lamp on the front of the appliance lights up.

NOTE:
- Do not operate the appliance for more than 4 hours.

The time for heating up depends on various factors, such as the ambient temperature, the temperature of the food, etc. At an ambient temperature of approx. 25^ , 30 to 60 minutes may be sufficient. When the food is refrigerated, the heat-up time is extended accordingly. Check that the food has reached the desired temperature from time to time.

When the food reaches the temperature you desire, disconnect the power plug from the outlet.
Cleaning

WARNING:
- Always pull out the plug from the mains socket before cleaning and wait until the appliance has cooled down.
- Do not immerse the appliance in water! It could result in an electric shock or fire.

CAUTION:
- Do not use any wire brush or other abrasive objects.
- Do not use any acidic or abrasive detergents
Housing
Wipe the housing with a slightly damp, but not wet cloth.
Large Container, Small Container, Cutlery, Lid, Steam Valve
You may rinse these parts in a rinsing bath.

NOTE:
Slight discolorations due to certain foods such as tomatoes, carrots, etc. are normal.
