Loosen the footplate retaining screw with the key, then slide the footplate forward. Set the cutting angle (8) at the marks 0°, 15°, 30° or 45° (or intermediate values). Tighten the screw. For angled cuts, raise the cutting guard.

Connect the suction hose of your vacuum cleaner to the connection (7) on the saw. Use the supplied adapter if necessary. Lower the cutting guard to improve efficiency.
