- Is the device being used correctly?
- Is the correct type of material being processed?
- Is the device in proper working order?
- Are the handles or optional vibration handles mounted and fixed securely up against the body of the machine? If your hands experience an unpleasant sensation or the skin changes colour while you are using the machine, immediately discontinue your work. Take sufficient breaks. If you do not take sufficient breaks, this may cause a hand/arm vibration syndrome. You should estimate the level of load caused in conjunction with the work or use of the machine and take the appropriate breaks. This method can be used to considerably minimise the level of load during the entire working time. Minimise risks in which you are exposed to vibrations. Take care of your machinery in accordance with the directions in the operation instructions. If the machine is to be used frequently, contact your dealer and arrange anti- vibration equipment (handles) if necessary. Avoid using the tool in temperatures of t = 10 °C or lower. Draw up a working schedule which can be used to minimise vibration loads.

And at the same time, it reduces wear on the saw blade, improves the rejection of shavings and considerably reduces the formation of heat caused by friction. The activation of the pendulum function may also be carried out when the machine is already running. Recommendations regarding the machine settings can be found on Figure 4. Inserting the saw blade CAUTION! Unplug from the power source. Loosen both of the holding screws on the saw blade holder (12) using the hexagonal wrench (11) (Figure 2). Slot the saw blade into the groove and push it in as far as it will go, ensuring that the spine fits well into the groove of the guide roll (9). Tighten the holding screws up again. Dust removal The extraction hose of the household vacuum should be fitted to the extraction opening (7) on the jigsaw or to the supplied adapter (2). Push this, along with the rubber seal, firmly into the guide groove of the extraction opening and fix with a gentle turn. The drawn down cutting protection element (6) will improve the efficiency of the dust removal process. Mitre/bevelled cuts The saw shoe (10) is set to the middle position (O°) when the machine leaves the factory. To set it for mitre or bevelled cuts, loosen the holding screw of the shoe with the adjustment wrench (Figure 3) and push the shoe forwards from the rest position. Set the cutting angle (8) by turning the to the right or left. The angles 0°, 15°, 30° and 45° are marked but intermediate values may also be selected. Tighten the holding screw up again. When carrying out cuts at an angle, push the cutting protection element (6) up as far as it will go. 8 – Operation Insert mains plug into an outlet
