Sicherheitshinweise

• Mains connection: The voltage must comply with that shown on the appliance label.
• Never pull on the mains cable / with damp hands. Disconnect mains plug in case of faults during use, prior to cleaning, relocation, after use. The plug must be within reach at all times.
• Regulatory check if the power cable / appliance / extensio lead is defective. Never switch on damaged appliances (incl. mains lead) — have repairs carried out / obtain replacement from the manufacturer, the manufacturer's service point or from qualified experts. Never open the appliance yourself — risk of injury!
• Never carry or pull the appliance by the flex. Don't pull the flex over sharp edges. Don't wedge it. Don't bend it. A short circuit can occur if the cable breaks.
• Switch the appliance off and pull the plug out of the mains when it is not in use. Don't wind the flex around the appliance.

Safety instructions

• Children aged 8 or over and people with limited physical, sensory or mental abilities, and insufficient knowledge and experience should only be allowed to use, clean or maintain the appliance if supervised by someone responsible for their safety or if they have already been shown how to use the appliance safely and have understood the risks involved.
• Children should not be allowed to play with the appliance. Keep the appliance and its power cable out of reach of children aged under 8.
- Keep packaging (e.g. plastic bags) away from children.
- Never place the appliance / cable on hot surfaces or near open flames. Do not store / expose the appliance to intense heat (from radiators, prolonged sunshine).
- Do not use attachments not recommended / sold by the manufacturer.
- The appliance is designed for household use and not for industrial operation. Do not operate the appliance outdoors.

Safety instructions

- Appliance is protected against water jets and is suitable for use in the shower.

- Do not use the mains adapter near the water (bath-tubs, washbasins, etc.) nor expose it to rain or other humidity.

- Only trained experts should repair electrical appliances. Unskilled repairs can cause considerable danger to the user.

- No warranty for any damage can be accepted if the appliance is used for improper purpose, wrongly operated or unprofessionally repaired. In such a case, any warranty claim is void.

- Use device only on human skin.

- Do not hold the appliance near clothing, parts of shoes or similar items while in use.

Use on the face: only remove hair on the chin and upper lip.

Never use appliance in the area of the eye!

Epilation can cause pain because the hair is torn out by the root.

Pain intensity depends on the sensitivity of the skin and on how regularly it is used.

Never use on areas of skin with moles, varicose veins, sunburn, bruises, cuts or grazes, warts, eczema or scars!

Tighten the skin area to be treated using your free hand

Set the appliance at 70°

Move against the direction of hair growth without applying pressure

Change the direction from time to time to be particularly thorough

Do this only if the appliance is turned off / unplugged. Do not use scourers or solvents.

EN With this appliance you get a 2 year guarantee starting from the date of purchase. Under the guarantee, in the case of material or manufacturing defects, the appliance will be replaced or repaired. Replacement with a new appliance or money back return is not possible. Excluded from the guarantee is normal wear and tare, commercial use, alterations to the appliance as purchased, cleaning activities, consequences of improper use or damage by the purchaser or a third person, damage, that can be attributed to external circumstances or caused by the batteries. The guarantee requires that the faulty appliance be returned at the purchaser's expense along with the retail outlets dated and signed guarantee card or a sales receipt.
