This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the product. - Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
- Keep the product and its cord out of reach of children aged less than 8 years.

Read this user manual thoroughly before first use and pass it on with the product. Pay attention to the warnings on the product and in this user manual. It contains important information for your safety as well as for the use and maintenance of the equipment.
- Use the product only for its intended purpose and with recommended accessories and components. Improper use or wrong operation may lead to hazards.
- Never leave the product unsupervised while it is switched on.

- Never immerse electrical parts of the product in water during cleaning or operation. Never hold the product under running water.
- Do not under any circumstances attempt (e.g. damage in power cord, product is dropped, etc.) to repair the product yourself. For servicing and repairs, please consult an authorised service agent.
- The mains voltage must match the information on the rating label of the product.
- Only unplug from the power socket can separate the product completely from the mains. Please be sure that the power plug is in operable condition.
- Avoid damages to the power cord that may be caused by kinks or contact with sharp corners.
- Keep this product including power cord and power plug away from all heat sources like for example, ovens, hot plates and other heat-producing products/objects.
- Only unplug from the power socket by the plug itself. Do not pull on the cord.

- Risk of burns! Avoid contact with hot surfaces and escaping steam. Hold the product only by the handle.
- Always leave sufficient space around the product. Boiling water can cause serious scalding.
- Do not move or transport the product while in operation or if it still contains hot water. There is a risk of burns caused by spurting hot water.
- Operate the product only if it is filled with water. The boil-dry protection prevents overheating if the kettle is empty.
- Close the lid when heating water. The temperature limiter only works when the cover is closed.
INTENDED USE
This product is suitable for heating water only. Any other use may result in damage to product or injuries.

BEFORE FIRST TIME USE
Fill the kettle with water to the MAX level and operate it. Repeat this process 2-3 times. This will remove any residues remaining from the manufacturing process.
HEATING WATER
1 Connect the power plug to a suitable power outlet.
2 Open the lid.
3 Fill the kettle with water to the desired level (min 0.75 / max 1.7 L)
4 Do not exceed the MAX level.
5 Close the lid until it clicks into place. Place kettle on stand.
6 Use the power switch to switch kettle on (I). Power indicator turns on.
The kettle will switch off automatically, once the water has boiled. Wait 15-20 seconds before operating again.
Unplug the power plug from the power outlet. Caution: Do not open the lid when steam is emitted from the spout.
Note: You can stop the boiling process at any time by lifting the power switch (0).

CLEANING AND CARE
- Warning! Unplug the product and let it cool down completely before cleaning. Never immerse electrical parts of the product in water during cleaning or operation. Never hold the product under running water.
- Warning! When cleaning, never use solvents or abrasive materials, hard brushes, metallic or sharp objects. Solvents are harmful to human health and can attack plastic parts, while abrasive cleaning mechanisms and tools may scratch the surface(s).
- Clean the product's exterior surfaces with a slightly damp cloth and then dry them thoroughly.
- Make sure that no water enters the device interior (for example, through the switch) or the base.

For cleaning, the filter can be removed from the kettle.
DESCALING

Descale your product regularly depending on your water's lime content and frequency of use.
Use an off-the-shelf decalcifier and follow the provided instructions.
As an alternative, you can descale your product with a vinegar solution: -
Pour 30ml of white wine vinegar into the kettle and fill the kettle half-full with water.
- Boil the solution and let it soak for a minute. Repeat this process three times.
- Pour the solution down the drain and rinse the kettle thoroughly with water.
- Fill the kettle with fresh, clean water. Bring to a boil and pour this water down the drain. To get rid of the smell of vinegar, repeat this step several times.
The filter can be soaked in a vinegar solution to descale it.
