This device is designed for domestic use only.
This device is designed for the treatment of human finger nails and toe nails, hardened skin and corns. Any other use is expressly prohibited.
- When using the device in a bathroom, it should on no account come into contact with water or any other liquid.

Always unplug the device prior to fitting attachments, cleaning and after use.
Caution! Always keep the power adapter dry.

• Never carry the device unit by the power cord.
• Do not clamp or pull the power cord over sharp edges.
• Do not use the device if the unit, attachments or power cord is visibly damaged.
• Keep the device out of direct sunlight, excessive heat and open flames.
• Do not immerse the device in water.
• Do not drop the device.

• Keep the device out of the reach of children.
  If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service centre or a similarly qualified person to prevent danger arising.

• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

• Do not open the device under any circumstances. No warranty claims are accepted for damage caused by improper handling.

The attachments and their functions

Disc File

• The disc file shortens and shapes the nails up to the corners. You can attain flawless nails, which no longer tear, break or splinter.

Tapered file

• The tapered file allows you to treat calluses and hardened skin on feet and hands as well as hardened nails. It restores shape to crooked nails and alleviates painful pressure.

Small tapered file

• The small tapered file removes difficult corners and edges, particularly in places the large tapered file cannot reach. It also allows you to clean the underside of artificial nails. Use the small tapered file with care.

Round file

• The round file can be used to treat ingrown nails. Applying it sideways, slowly grind the ingrown nail until it has been freed. Do not use the round file to remove cuticles near the nail moon. There is a risk of cutting grooves into the nail moon!

Cuticle pusher

• Sensitive cuticles should not be cut or abraded. Use the cuticle pusher to loosen and gently push back the cuticle.

Polishing brush

• The brush serves to polish nail lacquer as well as treat against nail fungus. However, it also cleans and polishes the treated nail and removes loosened cuticles.

Electrical operation

Operate the device with the enclosed power adapter.

Check that the voltage indicated on the type plate of the adapter corresponds to your local power supply.

The only way to disconnect the device from the power supply is to unplug the power supply unit.

1 Insert the power cord into the socket D on the device.
2 Plug the power adapter F into an electrical outlet.

Caution

• Avoid overheating the device through excessive use. Turn the device off after approximately 20 minutes of use and allow to cool for 15 minutes before reusing.

Nail care

1 Switch off the device by pushing the slide switch to position 0
2 Remove any attachments.
3 Insert the desired attachment into the socket B until it locks into place.
4 Insert the power cord into the socket D on the device and plug the power adapter into the electrical outlet.
5 Switch on the device by pushing the slide switch to position 1 or 2

Caution

Only use speed 1 for difficult applications.
6 Switch off the device after use by pushing the slide switch to position 0
7 Disconnect the power adapter from the electrical outlet.
8 Remove the power cord from the socket D on the device.
9 Remove and store any attachments.

Note

Before attempting difficult applications, begin with the shortening and shaping of nails. Use the disc file attachment. You can thus prevent painful ingrown nails.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Cleaning the device

Caution

Always disconnect the power adapter and cable from the device before cleaning.

Always clean the unit with a soft, slightly moist cloth and a small amount of detergent. Do not use any chemical cleaning agents.

Cleaning the attachments

Clean the attachments, especially the file attachments, with a brush, for example, an old tooth brush.

Thoroughly remove dust and any skin residue.

Disinfecting the file attachments with a sterilising hand spray or 90% rubbing alcohol is recommended. This prevents the spread of infection.

Always keep the prongs on the attachments free of oily substances.

Storage

If you do not wish to use the set for an extended period of time, please store it carefully.

1 The device must be completely dry.

2 Ensure that the attachments are completely clean.
3 Store the unit, attachments and power adapter in the provided storage case in a cool dry place.
4 Ensure that the set is kept out of the reach of children.
