CAUTION - INVISIBLE LASER RADIATION WHEN OPENING THE COVER OR PRESSING THE SAFETY INTERLOCK. AVOID EXPOSURE TO THE LASER BEAM.

Safety, Environmental and Setup Instructions
- Protect the device from humidity.
- This apparatus is for moderate climates areas use, not suitable for use in tropical climates countries.
- No objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus.
- The mains plug or an appliance coupler is used as the disconnect device, the disconnect devices shall remain readily operable.
- Connect this device to a properly installed and earthed wall outlet only. Make sure the mains voltage corresponds with the specifications on the rating plate.
- Make sure the mains cable stays dry during operation. Do not pinch or damage the mains cable in any way.
- A damaged mains cable or plug must immediately be replaced by an authorized service center.
- In case of lightning, immediately disconnect the device from the mains supply.
Children should be supervised by parents when using the device. - Clean the device with a dry cloth only.
- Do NOT use CLEANING AGENTS or ABRASIVE CLOTHS!
- Do not expose the device to direct sunlight or other heat sources.
- Install the device at a location with sufficient ventilation in order to prevent heat accumulation.
- Do not cover the ventilation openings!
- Install the device at a safe and vibration-free location.
- Install the device as far away as possible from computers and microwave units; otherwise radio reception may be disturbed.
- Do not open or repair the enclosure. It is not safe to do so and will void your warranty. Repairs only by authorized service/ customer center.
- No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on the unit.
- When you are necessary to ship the unit store it in its original package. Save the package for this purpose.
- In case of malfunction due to electrostatic discharge or fast transient (burst), remove and reconnect the power supply.
- If the unit is not using for a long period of time, disconnect it from the power supply by unplugging the power plug. This is to avoid the risk of fire.

BATTERY INSTALLATION
- Open the battery compartment: Loosen the screw on the cover of battery compartment with a screwdriver and remove the cover.
- Insert 4 x "C" Size (UM2 / LR14 1.5V) type batteries (not included). Make sure that you follow the polarity markings inside the compartment!
- Close the battery compartment and tighten the screw.

VOLUME CONTROL
Press the "VOLUME UP / DOWN" button to decrease or increase the volume.
CD OPERATION
- Switch the unit to standby mode by pressing the "STANDBY" button. The standby LED indicator will light on.
- Press the "PLAY / PAUSE" button to activate the unit and "NO" shows on the display when no disc is inside in the CD compartment.
- Lift up the CD door and place a disc on the center spindle with the printed label side facing up. Then close the CD door.
- The display will show "- - " for a few seconds. After reading the CD the display show the total number of tracks on disc and will start playback the disc.
- Press the "PLAY / PAUSE" button to interrupt the playback. Press the "PLAY / PAUSE" button again the unit will resume the playback.
- By pressing the "F.SKIP / B.SKIP" buttons you can choose the next track or the previous track.
- Press the "STOP" button to stop the playback.
- Press the "STOP" button twice the unit switch to standby mode.
Repeat function
- To select the "Single-Track Repeat" function choose the track that you want to repeat. Then press the "PLAY / PAUSE" button to play the track.
- Press the "MODE" button once to activate the single-track repeat and the REPEAT indicator appear.
- To select the "All Track Repeat" function. Press the "PLAY / PAUSE" button to start the track. Press the "MODE" button twice to activate the "All Track Repeat" function. The REPEAT indicator is blinking.
Random function
During CD playback press the "MODE" button repeatedly until the SHUFF LED indicator lights up. All the tracks played in random order once.
Buttons Lock Function
- Slide the LOCK switch to ON position.
- The HOLD LED indicator lights up.
Note: During Lock function is on, all buttons have no function.
- Slide the LOCK switch to OFF position, all buttons are unlocked.
SING-A-LONG function
- Place a disc inside the CD compartment.
- Press the "PLAY / PAUSE" button to start the playback.
- Slide MICROPHONE ON/OFF switch to ON position while singing.
NOTE:
Do not put the microphone too close to the speaker as this may cause feedback (squealing noise) through the speaker.
To use ASA PA (PUBLIC ADDRESS) system
No disc is needed. Just talk through the unit.
- Switch the unit to standby mode by pressing the "STANDBY" button.
- Slide MICROPHONEON/OFF switch to ON position.
- Speak or sing into the microphone.
Only use a common DC 5V/1000mA power adaptor (not included)
Plug the adapter into a standard wall outlet and the DC plug into the DC jack at the right side of the main unit.
We recommend use an AC/DC adapter when you use this player for longer time!
