How do I connect the BIGBEN BTKIDSCAT to my Bluetooth device?

Make sure the speaker is charged. Turn on Bluetooth on your device, then turn on the BTKIDSCAT. Press and hold the Bluetooth button until the indicator light flashes. Select the speaker from the list of available devices.

What should I do if the sound is low?

Check the volume level on the speaker and on your connected device. Make sure no other device is connected to the speaker, which could affect the volume.

The speaker won't turn on, what should I do?

Check if the speaker is charged. Connect it to a power source using the supplied cable. If the indicator light does not turn on after a few minutes, try another charger or cable.

How do I reset the speaker?

To reset the BTKIDSCAT, press and hold the power button and the Bluetooth button at the same time for about 5 seconds until the indicator light flashes red and blue.

The speaker frequently disconnects, what should I do?

Check if your device is within range of the speaker (usually within 10 meters). Make sure no other device is causing interference. If the problem persists, try disconnecting and reconnecting Bluetooth.

Can I use the speaker with non-Bluetooth devices?

Yes, the BTKIDSCAT can be used with non-Bluetooth devices via a connection to 3.5 mm audio jacks. Use an audio cable to connect it directly.

How do I charge the speaker?

Use the supplied USB cable to connect the speaker to a power source. The indicator light will show the charging status: red while charging, off when fully charged.

The speaker does not respond to commands, what should I do?

Try turning the speaker off and on again. If the problem persists, make sure the speaker is charged and reset it if necessary.

Getting started

• Take the device out of the box.
- Remove all the packaging from the product.
- Place the packaging inside the box or dispose of it safely in compliance with the waste sorting instructions shown on the outside.

Safety warning and notice

You must read and understand all the instructions before using this device. The warranty will not apply if damage is caused by failure to follow the instructions.

1. Never remove the device casing.
2. Never place this device on top of other electrical equipment.
3. Protect the power cable from being stepped on or pinched, particularly at the plugs, sockets, and the point where it exits the device. Make sure that the power rating corresponds to the voltage shown on the rating plate at the rear of the device. Always pull the plug from the socket when disconnecting from the mains. Never pull on the cable. Ensure you have completed all the other connections before connecting the mains plug.
4. Only use attachments/accessories that are recommended by the manufacturer.

5. Entrust all device repairs to qualified repairers. Repair is needed when the s been damaged in any fashion, and in particular:

Operation

Before getting started, charge the device using the USB-C charging cable. You can connect it to any compatible USB charging source. The LED charging light (8) will turn red when the device is charging. The LED indicator light will go off once the charge is complete.

Control functions

1. Briefly press the ON/OFF switch (button 3) to switch on the Bluetooth speaker. A brief sound signal will indicate that speaker is switched on.
2. The speaker will enter Bluetooth pairing mode. Find BTKIDS CAT/ DOG/ KOALA/PANDA on the device you want to pair, and click on it to connect the two devices. The LED indicator light (8) will flash blue during Bluetooth pairing, and it will come on in solid blue once the pairing has been completed. A brief sound signal will indicate that the connection has been established.
3. Briefly press the button 4 to play or pause the music.
4. Briefly press the button 2 to go back to the previous track. Briefly press the button 5 to skip to the next track.

5. Slide the ear control 6 downwards to increase the volume.

6. Slide the ear control 1 downwards to increase the brightness of the night light.

7. Insert the USB connector into the port (10) to start playing music from your USB device (maximum memory capacity supported: 32 GB).

8. Switch for resetting the device and Bluetooth Security mode (11). The switch has 3 positions:

9. Push it to the left to deactivate Bluetooth mode.

10. Place it in the centre to activate Bluetooth mode and to show green on the left of the switch.
11. Place it to the right if the device freezes or to force the Bluetooth connection.

The switch will automatically return to its initial position.

1. Briefly press the ON/OFF button (3) to switch off the Bluetooth speaker. A brief sound signal will indicate that speaker has switched off.

Timer functions

Briefly press the Timer button (7) at the rear of the device to activate the Timer function. Once the timer has been started, the night light will set to a default of 20% brightness, and the music will switch off once the set time has passed.

NB: The timer only works if the speaker's power supply is switched on.

The button 7 has an LED indicator light, which indicates the timer status.

• 1 press - Green illuminated LED indicator - 15-minute timer
• 2 presses - White illuminated LED indicator - 30-minute timer
• 3 presses - Red illuminated LED indicator - 60-minute timer

Please note that the user must manually reposition the light switch back in its initial position (vertical) to reset the light's settings.

NB: The maximum connection distance is approximately 10 metres. Place your Bluetooth speaker as close as possible to the device to avoid any interference with the connection.

The device may turn off in an environment with electrostatic discharge. The user must then recharge the battery and reset the device.

If the buttons do not respond, press the ON/OFF button for 5 seconds to turn off the device. If the device does not turn off, just wait for it to turn off automatically.

This device does not work with hubs, adapters, etc. The USB stick should be inserted directly into the USB reader.
