INSTALLATION
Complywiththesafetyrecommendationsindicatedaboveandhereafterwheninstallingthe appliance.
Fortheinstallationoftheappliance,qualifiedpersonnelmustbepresentwhoareabletocheckthe finenesssofthegrind.

Makesurethatthemainsvoltageisasindicatedontheratinglabeloftheapplianceandthat theelectricalsystemisgroundedandequippedwithaswitch.

Install the appliance in a DRY, PROTECTED place, far from water sprays or splashes, heat sources, open flames and inflammablesubstances.
Placetheapplianceonaflat,horizontal,stablesurfacewhereitcannottipover.
3.Putthetrayunderthedosertokeeptheworkareaaascleanaspossible.

Before connecting the plug to the power socket, make sure that the ON-OFF switch (8Fig.2) is in position "0" (OFF).
- Plugthepowercableintoasocketprotectedbyasuitablyratedcircuitbreaker(MCB)orfuses. Donotuseanadaptorplug.
- Stretch the power cable out to full length. Do not let it pass over sharp edges or hot surfaces. Do not let oil spill on it. Do not let the power cable hang loose from the counter on which the appliancestands.
- Makesurethatthebeanhopperiscorrectlypositionedandthatitsshutterisopen(7Fig.4).
- Tofitthecoffeepress,ifprovided,seetheenclosedillustratedleaflet.

TheappliancewillstartworkingandmustbestoppedbytheoperatorbymeansofftheON-OFF switchcathedesiredamountofcoffeehasbeenobtained.
Automaticmodel
3 Pressthestartbutton(11Fig.3).Theappliancewillstartworking,grindingasufficientamount ofbeanstofillthedoseruptoitsmaximumlevelwhichconsidersacapacityofabout300gof groundcoffee;oncthishasbeenreached,aswitchdevicestopsthemotor.Furthercoffe grindingwillresumeautomaticallyafersixdosesofgroundcoffeehavebeenextracted.
REGULATINGGRINDING
When it leaves the factory, the machine has a standard setting, but it may be necessary to adjust grinding further. The duetovary external factorss such as mixture used, the humidity, temperature, or the particular distribution requirements of the pressroom machine.
The degree of grinding may be further corrected by shifting the special lever (6Fig.2) at the base of the hopper (see Fig.5).

Alwaystakecaretomovetheleverwiththemotorturningandempty(withoutcoffeebetween theburrs).
Todhisyoucanoperatetheshutteratthebaseofthehoppertostoporresumethedroppingof thecoffeebansintothegrindingmechanism.
- Toobtainafinergrind,movetheverinacounter-clockwisedirection.
Toobtainacoarsergrind,movetheverinaclockwisedirection.
Rememberthatthegrindisrelatedtothecoffeeextractiontimewhichmustbe25-30seconds foracupof25-30ml.Iftheextractiontimeistoolong, thegrindmustbecoarser;ifitistooshort, thegrindmustbefiner.
NOTE!Itisrecommendedtogrindsmallamountsofcoffee,lettingtheburrsemptywitheverregulatingattempt,byopeningandclosingtheshutterereachtime.

REGULATINGDOSING
Whenitleavesthefactorythemachineisregulatedatabout7grams,butitispossibletoturnthe doseregulatingknob (10Fig.2)toadjustthisamountbetweenabout5.5gramsand9grams (see Fig.6).
Eachcompleteturnoftheknobcorrespondstoabout0.5gramsofgroundcoffee:turnitclockwise todecreasethedose,turnitcounter-clockwisetoincreasethedose.

TAKINGOUTTHECOFFEE
Restthefilter-holderofthecoffeemachineonthesupportforkandpullthedoserveralltheway onceortwicetoextractoneortwodosesofgroundcoffee.
Theleverhasastrongreturnspringsothereisnoneedtorepositionitaftereverydose.
Todistributethegroundcoffeeevenlyinthefilterusethespecialpress,ifsupplied,holdingitparallel tothefilterandpressingdownthecoffeeraspreferred.
WARNINGANDSUGGESTIONS
Insidethedoserthereisastoppingblade(9Fig.2) connectedtoaswitchwhich,whenraisedbythenewly groundcoffee,cutsoutthemotor.

Never operatethebladebyhandasthiswould riskfillingthedosertoexcessordamagingit.

Neveroperatewithouthopperandlidinplace.

Makesurethatshutteriscompletelyopen(to thelastclick)(seeFig.7).
Donotletthegrinder-doserrunlongwithoutcoffeebeans inthehopper;ifthisweretohappenitwouldcausetripping ofthemotorthermaloverloadprotection. Inthatcaseitis necessarytowaituntiltheoverloadprotectionisreset beforestartingtogrindcoffeagain.
Forthisreason, never leave the pack of coffeebeans sitting in the hopper as this prevents you see ing how many coffebeans are left.

Whenthegrinder-doserisnottobeusedduringthetimewhenthebusinessisclosed, itshould alwaysbeswitchedoffwiththemainswitch.

Putonlycoffeebeansinthopper,notready-groundcoffeeorthersubstances.

ElectronicespressocoffeegrindermodelE15isequippedwitharemovablesafetygrid(16Fig.1). Beforeoperatingsgrinder,placthesafetygridinsidethebeanhopper,slottingitintotheonly positionsothathemagneticsensor(17Fig.1)isincontactwiththeendofthesafetyarm(18Fig.1).
Note: Coffeegrinderwillnotstartifsafetygridisnotproperlyinplace.

Anyattemptto-passthesafetydeviceandusethecoffeegrinderwithoutitssafety gridinplacemaycausepersonaljuryand/ordamagetotheppliance.
CLEANING
Itisimportanttokeeptheappliancecleanandingood workingordertoensureoptimumqualityoftheproducts andlonglifeoftheappliance.

Always disconnect the plug of the appliance from the power socket before cleaning it.

Cleanthemotorhousingandthetraywitha clothdampenedwithwateroralcoholorwitha sprayneutralsolution.
Wipewithadrycloth.

Neverputtheapplianceunderrunningwater andneverimmerseinwater.
Oncethehopperhasbeenremoveditcanbe washedwithlukewarmwaterandneutralsoap, thenrinseitanddrywell.


Cleaningthedoseresunitrequiresgreatcare
becauseinsidethereisanelectromechanicaldevicewhichcouldgetdamaged.
-Useabrushorapaintbrush(Fig.8)tocleanthemosthddenaresinsidetheunitandadry clothfortheothersurfaces.
MAINTENANCE

Maintenancemustbecarriedoutexclusivelybyqualifiedtechnicalpersonnel.
Careforthemechanicalandelectricalpartsoftheapplianceisindispensableinordertoguarantee theirsafetyandefficiency.Ifanypartsneedreplaced,authenticsparepartsmustalwaysbeused.

Beforeperforminganyassemblyoperations,unplugtheappliance.
Toinstallthepresssupplied,proceedasfollows:

LoosenthescrewatthebottomofthedoserasshowninFig.9withano.10wrench.

Positionthepressandfastenitwithitscrew(Fig.10).

Tightenthefasteningscrew(Fig.11).

Alwaysassemblethepressonthesideoppositethedosinginglever.
Returntheapplianctotheworkingposition(Fig.12).

Incaseofanymalfunction,defectoftheapplianceorifyoususpectanybreakageafterfall,unplug theapplianceimmediately.
If you are unable to solve the problem, refer to the contactor AuthorizedService Centre.
Onlyqualifiedexpertssshouldrepairtheappliance.
Wearenotifiableforanydamagecausedbyrepairsnotmadecorrectlyand/orbyunauthorized personnel.Inthesecasessthewarantiydoesnapply.
