the electrical system is grounded and equipped with a switch.
2. Install the appliance in a DRY, PROTECTED place, far from water sprays and jets, heat

6. Plug the power cable into a socket protected by a suitably rated circuit breaker (MCB) or fuses.
Do not use an adaptor plug.
7. Stretch the power cable and the cable for connection with the control box out to full length. Do

REGULATING GRINDING When it leaves the factory the machine has a standard setting, but it may be necessary to adjust grinding further due to various external factors such as the type of mixture used, the humidity, temperature, or the different distribution requirements. The degree of grinding may be further corrected by turning the grinding adjustment knob (6 Fig. 1) (see Fig. 4).
To obtain a finer grind, move the knob in a counter-clockwise direction.
To obtain a coarser grind, move the knob in a clockwise direction. It is possible to speed up the adjustment operations by directly turning the grinding adjustment toothed disc (4 Fig. 1) (see Fig. 5 - 1, 2, 3), after having first unlocked by unscrewing and pressing the unlocking button (5 Fig. 1) and moved away the adjustment block. At the end of adjustment, remember to reposition the adjustment block and to fully tighten the unlocking button (for repositioning it is not necessary to hold the button down). Make sure that the teeth of the grinding adjustment disc mate correctly with the gear of the adjustment block.
Before first use: rinse all of the parts that will have contact with food in running water i.e.: bellows, collector, discharge spout. SWITCHING ON Turn the ON-OFF switch to position “I” (16 Fig. 3). Start the motor with the ON-OFF switch (13 Fig. 3). Always start the motor of the coffee grinder before putting coffee beans into the bellows (running empty). Adjust the motor rotation speed with the adjustment knob (15 Fig. 3). Position the filter-holder on the fork (8 Fig. 1). If you want to pour the coffee into another container, remove the fork, pulling it forward with both hands (the fork is kept in position by a magnet) and put the container in position. To reduce static electricity (present especially in some types of coffee) apply 2-3 splashes of water using the spray bottle supplied on the beans ready for grinding. Pour the desired quantity of coffee beans into the bellows opening (2 Fig. 1). After all the coffee beans have been ground completely, tap the bellows (2 Fig. 1) with your hand, making sure your palm fully covers the opening. To completely drop all the ground coffee, pull down and release 2 or 3 times the spout emptying system (9 Fig. 2). Stop the motor with the start/stop switch (13 Fig. 3).
Adjusting the motor rotation speed The motor rotation speed can be adjusted according to the quality and type of coffee to be ground. To adjust the grinding speed of the coffee beans, use the knob to adjust the motor rotation speed (15 Fig. 3) increasing it (clockwise) or decreasing it (counter-clockwise). Motor cooling fan To operate the fan of the coffee grinder motor continuously, use the start/stop switch (14 Fig. 3). Problem The appliance does not turn on.
Check that the cable for connection with the control box 10, Fig. 2 is inserted in the connector 18, Fig. 3.
Check that the plug of the power cable is inserted in the socket 17, Fig. 3.
Make sure the safety circuit breaker is closed.
Check that the main switch of the appliance is ON.
If the problem occurs itself after a long period of intensive use or overfilling, the motor could be in thermal protection lock! Wait at least 20 minutes and try again. The waiting time can be reduced by putting the appliance in a cool place.
Check that the coffee discharge opening is free. The coffee is not coming out of the discharge opening correctly.
If the motor gets blocked due to incorrect regulation of grinding or to the presence of a foreign body in the burrs, try increasing to the coarsest grain size by turning the grinding adjustment disc clockwise (4 Fig. 1). If this is not enough, switch off the appliance, disconnect the plug from the socket and consult technically qualified personnel. The motor gets blocked. SolutionGB
