How to pair the earphones with my smartphone?

Take the earphones out of the case; they turn on automatically. Activate Bluetooth on your smartphone, search for 'STSK A4 B2' and select it. If a code is requested, enter 0000.

What is the battery life with and without ANC?

With active noise cancellation (ANC), the battery life is approximately 3 hours. Without ANC, it reaches approximately 4.5 hours (at medium volume).

How to charge the charging case?

Use the supplied USB cable (type A to type C) with a USB 5 V, 500 mA minimum source. The case takes approximately 3 hours for a full charge. LEDs indicate the charge level.

Can I use Qi wireless charging?

Yes, the case is Qi compatible. Place it on a wireless charger of at least 2.5 W (distance ≤ 5 mm). Maximum consumption is 3 W.

How to clean the earphones and ear tips?

Clean the earphones with a soft dry cloth. The ear tips can be removed and cleaned separately. Do not use abrasive products or liquids.

What if the earphones do not connect?

Make sure the earphones are charged and in the case. Reset the connection by forgetting the device on your phone, then redo the pairing. Check that the Bluetooth range (≤ 10 m) is respected.

Are the earphones waterproof?

No, they are not waterproof. Avoid any contact with water and humidity. Do not use in the rain and do not immerse them.

How to turn the earphones on and off?

The earphones turn on automatically when taken out of the case. To turn them off, put them back in the case. You can also manually turn them off by holding down the touch button (if available).

Can I use a single earpiece?

Yes, each earpiece works independently. Take out one earpiece from the case; it pairs in mono mode. The other can stay in the case for charging.

Intended use

These headphones are a consumer electronics device. The headphones are intended for playback of audio material via a Bluetooth® connection. If the headphones are connected to a smartphone, the headphones can also be used as a headset.

The charging and storage box is intended solely for charging and storing the headphones.

The product is intended for private use only.

Any other use beyond what is specified is not intended. Do not use the product for industrial or commercial purposes.

Any claims for damages resulting from unintended use, improper repairs, unauthorized modifications or the use of unapproved replacement parts are excluded. The user carries the sole risk for this.

Scope of delivery

After unpacking the product, check if the delivery is complete and if all parts are in good condition. Remove all packaging materials before use.

DANGER DUE TO DIMINISHED PERCEPTION!

• Do not use the headphones while driving a vehicle or riding a bicycle, operating machinery, or in other situations, where diminished perception caused by ambient noise could endanger you or others. Also observe the laws and regulations of the country in which you use the headphones.

Caution, high sound pressure

Be careful when using the headphones. Using headphones for a long period of time and at high volume can lead to hearing damage to the user. Always set the volume to a low level first and adjust it to a comfortable level. Always use headphones so that the perception of the surrounding noise is guaranteed.

ATTENTION! RISK OF PROPERTY DAMAGE!

This product does not contain any parts which can be serviced by the user. The rechargeable battery cannot be replaced.
The product (headphones and charging box) shall not be opened.
- Keep the charging box away from moisture, dripping and splash water!
- Do not place burning candles or other open fire on or next to the product.
Check the product before every use! Discontinue use if any damage to the product or the charging cable is detected!
If you notice smoke or unusual noise or odour, switch the product off immediately and remove the USB cable.
- Sudden temperature changes may cause condensation inside the product. In this case, allow the product to acclimate for some time before using it to prevent short circuits!
- Do not operate the product near heat sources, e.g. radiators or other devices emitting heat!

WARNING! There must be no metal objects between the charging box and the charger used. Metal objects can heat up and cause burns. Remove foreign objects from the charger before charging the product.

CAUTION!

Do not allow the Qi charging surface to get wet from water, beverages, etc.

ATTENTION!

• Do not place magnetic recording media inside the charging area during charging. The magnetism generated may erase the data on credit cards. It may also cause wristwatches and other precision instruments to malfunction.

① NOTE:

During charging and immediately after charging, the Qi charging surface and the product will be warm. This is normal and not a malfunction. If there is an unusual heating, check the Qi charging surface and the product.

WARNING - Radio interference

• Switch the product off on airplanes, in hospitals, service rooms (e.g. boiler room, electric supply room), or near medical electronic systems.
  The wireless signals transmitted could impact the functionality of sensitive electronics.
• Keep the product at least 20cm from pacemakers or implantable cardioverter defibrillators, as the electromagnetic radiation may impair the functionality of pacemakers.
  The radio waves transmitted could cause interference in hearing aids.
• Do not place the product near flammable gases or potentially explosives areas (e.g. paint shops) with the wireless components on, as the radio waves emitted can cause explosions and fire.
  The range of the radio waves varies by environmental conditions.
  In the event of wireless data transmission, unauthorised third parties receiving the data cannot be excluded.
  The OWIM GmbH & Co KG is not responsible for interference with radios or televisions due to unauthorised modification of the product.
  The OWIM GmbH & Co KG further assumes no liability for using or replacing cables and products not distributed by OWIM.
  The user of the product is fully responsible for correcting interference caused by unauthorised modification of the product (refer to previous 2 paragraphs).

Safety instructions for built-in rechargeable batteries

WARNING! RISK OF EXPLOSION! Do not throw the product (charging/storage box and headphones) into fire.

• Avoid extreme environmental conditions and temperatures, which could affect rechargeable batteries, e.g. radiators / direct sunlight.

If rechargeable batteries have leaked, avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous membranes with the chemicals! Flush immediately the affected areas with fresh water and seek medical attention!

• Do not cover the product during operation or charging. Otherwise the product can overheat.
  This product contains a rechargeable battery, which can lead to fire, explosion or leakage of hazardous substances in case of incorrect application. For this reason, wear suitable protective gloves.

• On your Bluetooth device, search for the device named STSK A4 B2 and pair with the device.

• If your Bluetooth device prompts you to enter a password, enter 0000.

Disposal

Packaging:

The packaging is made of environmentally friendly materials, which may be disposed of through your local recycling facilities.

Observe the marking of the packaging materials for waste separation, which are marked with abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with following meaning: 1-7: plastics / 20-22: paper and fibreboard / 80-98: composite materials.
