fastening the baby carrier to your body (diag. A, B, C, D)
- Fold the baby carrier out.
- Check all the seals and straps.
- Place the wide shoulder straps (4) over your shoulder, fasten the straps and buckles (1, 2, 3) firmly with the click system and Velcro. The baby carrier is worn at the front. The back (5) is for extra comfort and is adjustable. (diag. A)
Pull both ends of the strap until the baby carrier is firmly against your body. Adjust the carrier in such a way that that the baby's head is a little under your chin. Gently lift the child and use one hand to pull the waist strap. Repeat this on the other side. (diag. B)
If you wish to adjust the length of the back, you can easily adjust the length of the straps on the back until a comfortable position is achieved. (diag. C) - The central plastic part on the back must be positioned between the bottoms of your shoulder blades. (diag. D)
placing the baby in the baby carrier, facing towards the parent (diag. E)
- You can create an opening for the easy placement of your child by unclicking the Carryme on one side at
the head (1) and unfastening the Velcro seal (2).
- Push the child through the opening into the baby carrier facing towards you and hold the child against you.
- Check that your child's legs are on either side of the divider.
- Close the Velcro and click the seal (2) closed. Pull the end of the strap (3) to pull the baby carrier more tightly into position.
- Now close the top seal (1) in order to support the head.
- Ensure that the baby carrier is correctly adjusted for the size of your child. Pulling the top seal (1) at the head tighter makes the baby carrier smaller, while loosening it makes room for larger babies.
- When your baby has a little more coordination and can lift its head, try folding the support (6) under the head so that your can child can make more eye contact and discover more of its immediate environment. The support under the head must be vertical when your child is sleeping!
placing the baby in the baby carrier, facing away from the parent (diag. F)
- When your child can lift its head without requiring support, it can be placed in the Carryme facing for
wards. This gives the child a greater field of view.
- The support (6) must be folded over before placing the baby in the baby carrier, wit hits back to you. Lock the straps as described above. You can change the size with the top seal by pulling the straps (7) until the child is lying against you comfortably.
- Your baby may not lean forward!
- Smaller children must have both arms through the arm holes. (diag. F)
- The arms of larger children go over the side of the head support.
lifting the baby out of the baby carrier (diag. G) when the baby is awake (diag. G1)
- Opening the seal at the side and unclicking the head support allows you to lift the baby out of the Carryme with ease.
when the baby is asleep (diag. G2)
- When the baby is asleep, unclick the top seal of the head support on both sides. Hold your baby firmly with one hand while you open the sides with the other hand. The front of the baby carrier falls forward. You can now put the baby down while it continues to sleep.
This is how you can transfer the child to daddy,
grandma, etc.
