Handling of batteries
WARNING: Danger of explosion!
Do not expose the batteries to high temperatures or direct sunlight. Never throw batter- ies into fire. CAUTION: Different battery types or new and spent batteries may not be used together. 1. Open the battery compartment in the handle by sliding the cover downwards.
3. Close the battery compartment again.

1. To turn on the device, slide the switch in the direction of the brush pad. During the
operation, negative ions are released by the ionizer. The indicator light will show you the function.
2. Brush your hair as usual with long, even stroking movements. Ensure that you don’t
accidentally cover the ion nozzle with your finger.
3. Shut off the device after use by sliding the switch downwards. The indicator light will
go out. Cleaning CAUTION:
1. Switch off the appliance before cleaning.
2. Youmaywipethehousingofthedevicewithaslightlydampcloth.
Brush Pad Dry cleaning To free hair from the brush pad, use a comb. Wet cleaning CAUTION: Detach the brush pad from the device before cleaning it wet!English
1. Press the unlock button at the top end of the brush and pull the brush pad out by a
couple of the top bristles.
2. Clean the brush pad with a nylon brush under running water. If very dirty, soak the
brush pad in mild soapy water briefly beforehand.
3. Let the brush pad dry completely before reinserting it into the housing!
4. To place the brush pad back into the housing, first press the lower end into the mould-
ing. It must click in audibly.
