• Use the device for private and its intended purpose only. The device is not intended for commercial use.
• Keep the device away from heat, direct sunlight and moisture.
• Do not immerse the device in water or other liquids.
• Turn the device off when not in use, for cleaning or in case of failure.
• Do not operate a damaged device.
• Do not repair the device by yourself. Please contact authorized personnel.
• Do only use original parts.
• Store the device out of the reach of children. Children may not play with the device.
• For the safety of your children, keep any packing parts (plastic bags, cartilage, Styrofoam etc.) out of their reach.

Handling of batteries

WARNING: Danger of explosion!

Do not expose the batteries to high temperatures or direct sunlight. Never throw batteries into fire.

CAUTION:

Different battery types or new and spent batteries may not be used together.

Inserting the batteries (Battery is not included in the scope of delivery)

1. Open the battery compartment in the handle by sliding the cover downwards.
2. Insert 2 batteries of the type AAA/R03. Ensure the correct polarity (see bottom of battery compartment)!
3. Close the battery compartment again.

NOTE:

If the device is out of use for a long period of time, remove the battery to prevent "leaking".
- When the indicator light no longer lights up during operation, replace the batteries.

Usage

NOTE:

• The brush is equipped with an ionizer. It neutralizes positive ions that statically charge the hair during brushing and reduce frizz.
• You will achieve best results with dry hair.

1. To turn on the device, slide the switch in the direction of the brush pad. During the operation, negative ions are released by the ionizer. The indicator light will show you the function.
2. Brush your hair as usual with long, even stroking movements. Ensure that you don't accidentally cover the ion nozzle with your finger.
3. Shut off the device after use by sliding the switch downwards. The indicator light will go out.

Cleaning

CAUTION:

• Do not immerse the device in water. This could destroy the electronics.

• Do not use sharp or abrasive cleaning agents.

• Switch off the appliance before cleaning.

• You may wipe the housing of the device with a slightly damp cloth.

Brush Pad

Dry cleaning

To free hair from the brush pad, use a comb.

Wet cleaning

CAUTION:

Detach the brush pad from the device before cleaning it wet!

1. Press the unlock button at the top end of the brush and pull the brush pad out by a couple of the top bristles.
2. Clean the brush pad with a nylon brush under running water. If very dirty, soak the brush pad in mild soapy water briefly beforehand.
3. Let the brush pad dry completely before reinserting it into the housing!
4. To place the brush pad back into the housing, first press the lower end into the moulding. It must click in audiably.
