General Safety Instructions
Read the operating instructions carefully before putting the appliance into operation and keep the instructions including the warranty, the receipt and, if possible, the box with the internal packing. If you give this device to other people, please also pass on the operating instructions.
- The appliance is designed exclusively for private use and for the envisaged purpose. This appliance is not fit for commercial use.
Do not use it outdoors. Keep it away from sources of heat, direct sunlight, humidity (never dip it into any liquid) and sharp edges. Do not use the appliance with wet hands. If the appliance is humid or wet, unplug it immediately.
- When cleaning or putting it away, switch off the appliance and always pull out the plug from the socket (pull the plug itself, not the lead) if the appliance is not being used and remove the attached accessories.
- Do not operate the machine without supervision. If you leave the room you should always turn the device off. Remove the plug from the socket.
- The device and the mains lead have to be checked regularly for signs of damage. If damage is found the device must not be used.
- Do not try to repair the appliance on your own. Always contact an authorized technician. To avoid the exposure to danger, always have faulty cable be replaced only by the manufacturer, by our customer service or by qualified person and with a cable of the same type.
Use only original spare parts. - In order to ensure your children's safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.

Do not use this device near baths, wash basins or other vessels containing water.
WARNING:
- This appliance may be used by children aged from 8 years up and by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge proved they do so under supervision or have been given instructions on how to use the appliance safely and understand the hazards involved.
Children must not play with the appliance. - Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children, unless they are supervised.
The nozzles become hot during operation! - If the hair dryer is used in the bathroom, disconnect it from the mains after use as nearby water presents a hazard. This also applies if the appliance is switched off.
- Please ensure that the inlet grille remains free of fluff and hairs. Danger of fire!
- As additional protection we recommend the installation of a fault current protection device (FI/RCD) with a rated current of not more than 30mA in the wiring system of the bathroom. Please contact an authorised electrician for advice.

Wall bracket
The bracket is designed to be mounted on the wall. Check that all parts are in the box.
WARNING:
Ensure that no electrical cables or water pipes are located at the point in the wall where you want to mount the bracket.
Measure the distance between the two holes on the bracket and drill two holes at this distance into the wall.
- Insert the plug into the wall.
- Mount the bracket with the screws. The washer is provided for the top screw.
- Place the hair dryer into the wall bracket. The dryer must click into place.
- To remove the hair dryer, press at the same time with both fingers on the side buttons of the bracket.

Commissioning
Unwind the mains cable completely.
Electrical Connection
- Before inserting the plug into the socket. Make sure that the mains voltage to be used matches that of the device. You can find this information on the nameplate.
- Connect the appliance to a properly installed safety socket.
Use
Switch the selector on the handle to the desired heat/blower setting:
Position Off
Position I: gentle air flow and medium temperature
Position II: strong air flow and high temperature
Switch-off
After use, switch the selector to "O" and disconnect the mains plug.
NOTE:
The wall bracket has a contact switch. If you hang up the appliance when switched on, it will automatically switch off.
Storage
- Leave the device to cool before putting it away! To do so, lay the appliance on one side of its housing.
- You can also hang it on the wall bracket you mounted earlier.
Mains Cable
- When resting the appliance on its side, simply coil up the power cord loosely.
- Never tie the cable tightly round the device, as over time this may result in the cable breaking.
- Check the mains cable regularly for damage.
Maintenance and care
WARNING:
Before cleaning remove the mains lead from the socket.
Under no circumstances should you immerse the device in water for cleaning purposes. Otherwise this might result in an electric shock or fire.
CAUTION:
- Do not use a wire brush or any abrasive items.
- Do not use any acidic or abrasive detergents.
Clean the housing with a soft, dry cloth without additives.
Air Intake Grill
CAUTION:
Please clean the grill on the air intake side of the hairdryer regularly in order to avoid excessive temperatures as a result of heat accumulation.
- Remove any dirt that is present.
If necessary, a fine brush can be used.
