Prior to maintenance or repair work always discon- nect the Trumavent fan in all poles from the power supply with at least 3.5 mm contact clearance! The Trumavent TN – 230 V fan and the SPU voltage converter must not be used in vehicles whilst driving. Warm air distribution The warm air system is designed individually for each type of vehicle on a modular basis. There is an extensive expansion programme available with accessories for retrofitting (see brochure). You can obtain diagrams free of charge from the Truma Service Centre, showing optimal installation suggestions for warm air systems in all current-type caravans and mobile homes. The quantity of air can be individually adjusted at the air flap (f), for warm air distribution. In centre position 50 % of the warm air is distributed to each outlet. Use the fan duct with dia. 72 mm if the fan ducts are of differ- ent lengths or on sides with a greater heat requirement. This means that the air output can be used to the full on this side. By adjusting the air flap (f) the quantity of air can be increased individually. This means that the air output on the other side is reduced. If the air output drops or the operating noise increases, the fan impeller wheel may be severely soiled. Cleaning (with switched off appliance!) We recommend removing dust which has collected on the heat exchanger and base plate of the heater and on the impel- ler wheel of the Trumavent fan, once a year, before the heat- ing season starts. Mixture position During the heating operation the slide valve (g) should only be opened in downward direction by max. 1/4. The automatic function of the fan may otherwise be troubled. This comfort kit must not be used with heaters with underfloor exhaust duct routing, the Trumatic S 55 T heater or in combination with the Trumatic S 3002 K heater in vehicles.9 Manufacturer’s terms of warranty

The manufacturer grants a warranty for malfunctions in the appliance which are based on material or production faults. In addition to this, the statutory warranty claims against the seller remain valid. A claim under warranty shall not pertain: – for parts subject to wear and in cases of natural wear and tear, – as a result of using parts that are not original Truma parts in the units, – as a consequence of failure to respect Truma instructions for installation and use, – as a consequence of improper handling, – as a consequence of improper transport packing, not arranged by Truma.

2. Scope of warranty

The warranty is valid for malfunctions as stated under item 1, which occur within 24 months after conclusion of the pur- chase agreement between the seller and the final consumer. The manufacturers will make good such defects by sub- sequent fulfilment, i.e. at their discretion either by repair or replacement. In the event of manufacturers providing service under warranty, the term of the warranty shall not re commence anew with regard to the repaired or replaced parts; rather, the old warranty period shall continue to run. More extensive claims, in particular claims for compensatory damages by purchasers or third parties, shall be excluded. This does not affect the rules of the product liability law. The manufacturer shall bear the cost of employing the Truma customer service for the removal of a malfunction under war- ranty – in particular transportation costs, travelling expenses, job and material costs, as long as the service is carried out in Germany. The warranty does not cover customer service work in other countries. Additional costs based on complicated removal and installa- tion conditions of the appliance (e.g. removal of furniture or parts of the vehicle body) do not come under warranty.
