HeaDset Controls Power/Sync Push to turn Headset ON/OFF. Press and hold for 3 seconds to Sync Headset to Base Station. See page 12 for more information on syncing the Headset to the Base Station. Use to adjust the volume of the game audio. Use to adjust the volume of the voices of other players. Press the mic mute button so that others cannot hear you. The LED will illuminate when the mic is muted. analog auDIo setuP Plug one end of the USB Cable into a USB port on the gaming console. Plug the other end of the USB Cable into the USB Port of the Base Station. Plug Component/VGA/Composite Cable into Xbox 360. Connect RCA Adapter Cable to red/white connectors on the Component/VGA/Composite Cable. Plug RCA Adapter Cable into the Audio Input of the Base Station. Connect the Headset Connector Cable in the proper order: A- Connect Headset Connector Cable to the Headset Connector Port on the Headset. B- Connect puck side of Headset Connector Cable into Xbox 360-compatible controller. Insert the batteries into the Headset. See page 10 for more information. Power ON the Xbox 360 Console and Headset. To confirm Xbox LIVE settings, press the “Xbox Guide Button” when a game is loaded, and go to Personal Settings > Voice. Ensure that “Headset Only” is selected. Plug one end of the USB Cable into a USB port on the gaming console. Plug the other end of the USB Cable into the USB Port of the Base Station. battery InstallatIon Insert 2 AA batteries into the Headset matching the polarity as shown. When the battery level is low, the power LED will flash. PoWer save MoDe If the Headset receives no audio for 15 minutes, the Headset will power down to save battery power and the LED on the Base Station will flash. The Heaset will power back on when audio resumes. WIreless range The Primer Headset transmits audio via digital radio frequency (RF) and has an operating range of 33 feet/10 meters in any direction. Please remain within this range for optimal per- formance. Avoid placing the Base Station on top of a metal surface or behind other devices that use RF. synC HeaDset to base statIon Note: Headset is synced to the Base Station at the factory. This step is only necessary when syncing a new Headset to the Base Station. Only one Headset can be paired at a time. A- With the Base Station connected via USB to the Xbox 360 and powered ON, press and hold the Power/Sync button on the Base Station for 3 seconds. The Power/Sync LED on the Base Station will flash. B- On the Headset, press and hold the Power/Sync button for 3 seconds. The Headset and Base Station will sync, and the LEDs on the Base Station and Headset will illuminate solid when the sync is successful. Troubleshooting: Chat isn’t working:
- Make sure your console is connected to Xbox LIVE. For information about Xbox LIVE, visit www.xbox.com/live.
- Try a fresh set of batteries. No Sound:
- Check that the volume is not turned all the way down.
- Check that the Base Station is plugged into a USB port on the Xbox 360 and that the Headset is powered ON and paired to the Base Station.
- Check that the Analog Audio Adapter is connected between the Base Station and the Xbox 360.
- Move the Headset closer to the console.
