USER MANUAL FE9314X FAGOR
This appliance is exclusively designed for domestic use, for washing and drying clothes.

Very important: Please read the whole of this manual before installing and using the washer-dryer. You will find the documentation and accessories inside the drum.
The texts in the manual correspond to the numbered diagrams.
Safety
- The mains water pressure should be between 0.05 and 1Mpa (0.5 - 10kg / cm^2) .
- Do not use extension leads or adapter plugs to connect the washer-dryer.
- The electrical installation must not exceed the voltage indicated on the reference plate and the mains connection must have the regulatory earth connection.
- If the electrical cord is damaged it must be replaced by your after-sales service or similar qualified staff, to prevent hazard.
- For recess-mounted washer-dryers, the electrical plug must be accessible after installation.
A
- Do not tamper with the inside of the washer dryer. In case of any problems you cannot solve yourself, call the technical assistance service.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
- Children under 3 must be kept at a distance unless constantly supervised.
- Do not dry any items in the tumble dryer if they have not been previously washed.
- Any items stained with substances such as cooling oil, acetone, alcohol, petrol, kerosene, stain remover, turpentine, wax or wax removing products must be washed in hot water with extra detergent before drying them in the tumble dryer.
- Items such as foam rubber (latex foam), shower caps, waterproof fabrics, rubber-lined tems and clothing or pillows stuffed with pieces of foam rubber must not be dried in the tumble dryer.
- Remove all objects from pockets such as lighters or matches.
- Fabric softeners or similar products should be used as described in the fabric softener instructions.
- The appliance should not be installed behind a lockable or sliding door or a door with the hinges on the opposite side to where the tumble dryer is located.
- The final stage of a tumble dryer cycle does not use heat, so as not to damage the items (cooling cycle). Never stop the tumble dryer before the end of the drying cycle, unless you quickly remove all the items and lay them out for them to cool down.

Identify your washer-dryer model ("a", "b" or "c") by comparing the control panel with the illustrations.

1.1 Unpacking (1.1.1, 1.1.2 and 1.1.3). Remove the bolts and the fi xing and blocking elements used for transport.
1.2 Connection to the water mains (1.2.1, 1.2.2 and 1.2.3). If the washer-dryer has a hot water intake, connect the hose with a red connector to the hot water intake (1.2.4). Always use the new hose supplied, removing any previously used hoses.
1.3 Drain. 1IMPORTANT! Place the hose in the drain in accordance with the measurements shown on the drawing.
1.4 Levelling. Correctly level the washer-dryer to prevent any noise or shifting. The recommended procedure is as follows: 1. Position the rear legs and fix them in place (1.4.1); 2. Place the washer-dryer in its final location (1.4.2); 3. Position the front legs and fix them in place (1.4.3).
1.5 Electrical connection. Take the electrical data on the reference plate into account.
1.6 Installation under a worktop. If you need to remove the worktop to recess-mount the washer-dryer, contact your dealer or the Technical Assistance Service. Recess dimensions are 600x600x850.

2.1 Opening the loading door. Open the loading door.
2.2 Detergent and additives. Sort items by colour, soil and fabric type before loading the washer-dryer. The detergent drawer has the following compartments: wash 山 prewash abd fabric softener (2.2.1).
All the washer-dryers are designed to use detergent powder (2.2.2). All the washing machines are designed to use powder detergent (2.2.2). If you wish to use liquid detergent (2.2.3), you will see a blue tab for this purpose in the wash compartment. Pull it outwards as far as it will go, then release it. It will remain in vertical position (2.2.4), this will prevent the liquid detergent from running out. To use powder detergent again, place the blue tab in horizontal position and
push it back as far as it will go to open the flap (2.2.5).
Remember you must not exceed the MAX level marked on the fabric softener compartment.
2.3 Switching on and selecting the wash and dry programme. Select the was programme (2.3.1) using the control panel, after consulting the programme chart (page 12). To select the drying time, press the drying button 品 (2.3.2). You may select automatic or manual drying. The first time the drying button is pressed "aut" (automatic drying) will appear on the display. When you press the button again, a manual drying time of 00 min will appear, increasing according to the mode the button is pressed in:
Mode 1 -> if you hold the button down the drying time will increase in steps of 10 minutes (from 00 min to 170 min).
Mode 2 -> press and release the button the time increases 1 minute each time the button is pressed.
2.4 Selecting the spin speed. You may choose a spin drying speed or cancel out spin drying (2.4.1, 2.4.2). If you select Anti-crease (2.4.3) the wash process will pause before the final spin and the clothes will be left submerged in water Press to run the final spin dry.

The drying function times given below are for guidance only and will vary depending on the number and size of the garments and the composition of the load. The maximum load admitted is 5kg
2.5 Additional functions:
- Easy ironing (A): reduces creasing.
- Rinse plus (串^+) : provides extra protection for clothes worn by children and people with sensitive skin.
- Save time Provides extra protection for clothes worn by children and people with sensitive skin. Press the wash time reduction button up to three times to reduce the duration of the selected wash programme. The reduced wash programme time will appear on the display.
2.6 Delayed start. This delays the start of washing.
2.7 Start or pause
2.8 Lock Hold down the button(s) for 3 seconds to activate the child lock. It is cancelled by holding down the button(s) again for 3 seconds.
2.9 Washing and/or drying process. You can check the programme stage.
Recommendations for use:
- On installing your washer-dryer, run a preliminary wash cycle and check it is functioning correctly (standard wash programme, with no load and at 90^ ).
- Use a wash bag for small items e.g. handkerchiefs and underwear.
- You can use all type of detergents allowed to use in washing machines. Use liquid detergents for low temperature washing programs (maximun 40^ ) for all fabric types. Don't use powder detergent with wool.
Warnings:
- If you stop the washer-dryer by pressing "ID to add more items, ensure the water level is below the loading door level.
- The additional functions (and increase the washing time.
- When the wash programme ends it is recommended to leave the loading door open to ventilate the inside of the washing machine. You may have to wait 2 minutes before it can be opened. On models "a-b" ensure the STOP pilot light is flashing. On models "c", wait for the symbol to switch off.

When the drying programme has ended, the washer-dryer will be very hot and we therefore recommend you wait 2 minutes before opening the door, to avoid burns.

Maintenance

3.1 Cleaning the detergent drawer. You should do this once a month.
3.2 Cleaning the filter. You should do this once a year. For cleaning the outside of the washing machine, use non-abrasive products and dry it thoroughly with a soft cloth.

Troubleshooting

4.1 The washing machine includes a troubleshooting system that detects and warns of any anomalies. You can observe the warnings on the display, or by flashing pilot lights on the control panel.
4.1.1 No water is entering the washing machine. Check the water supply and the intake tap, or clean the intake filter.
4.1.2 It is not draining or spinning. Check the state of the filter.
4.1.3 It is not spinning. Redistribute the load and select spin dry again.
4.1.4 It will not start up. Check the loading door is properly closed.
4.1.5 Any other code appears. Inform the technical assistance service.
4.2 Vibration or noise. Check the appliance has been correctly installed (1.1 and 1.4 of this manual).
4.3 Water remains in the drum. Check the detergent drawer is clean (3.1).

Environment

The washing machine has been designed with environmental protection in mind.
Display contrast. The display dims after 20 minutes to save energy. To activate the display, press any button or turn the dial.
Protect the environment. Load the washing machine to the maximum recommended capacity for each programme: this will save water and power. Avoid using the pre-wash function whenever you can. Do not use too much detergent. Use the Rinse plus function for garments belonging to people with sensitive skin.
Waste electrical and electronic equipment management. Do not dispose of these appliances with the general domestic waste. Take your washing machine to a special collection centre. Recycling household appliances avoids negative consequences for health and the environment and saves on power and natural resources.

- Power consumed in "off mode" and "non-off mode":

- The real water temperature may differ from the temperature shown for the wash cycle: it may be lower.
- The real values for kWh, litres and programme duration may differ from those shown depending on the pressure and temperature of the mains water supply, the temperature of the room the washing machine is located in, mains voltage fluctuations, the type and amount of garments making up the load and any additional options selected.
