Before first time use

Fill the kettle with water to the MAX level and operate it. Repeat this process 2-3 times. This will remove any residues remaining from the manufacturing process.

Before use, plug in the kettle.

After use unplug the kettle.

Using the kettle

1. Open the lid by pressing the lid button.
2. Fill the kettle with water to the desired level (MIN 0.6 / MAX 1.7 L)
3. Close the lid and place kettle on stand.
4. Use the power switch to switch kettle on. The indicator light goes on.
5. The kettle will switch off automatically, once the water has boiled. The indicator light goes out and a beep signal is heard. Wait 15-20 seconds before operating again.

Fill the kettle with water and close the lid.

Do not exceed the MAX level.

Cleaning and care

1. Unplug the kettle from the mains supply and allow it to cool down.
2. Clean the base unit with a slightly damp, lint-free cloth. Do not immerse in water.
3. Empty the kettle, open the lid, lift out the filter and rinse it under warm water.
4. Do not use any abrasive cleaning agents.
5. Refit in reverse order.

Dscaling

1. Fill the kettle with 0.5 litres of water.
2. Add two table spoons of vinegar essence.
3. Boil the mixture, allow it to stand for a short period, then empty and rinse the kettle thoroughly with clean water.

The kettle switches off automatically.

After cleaning, clip the filter in place.

Note

• You can stop the boiling process at any time by lifting the power switch.
• When kettle is not in use, store excess cord in or around the stand.
