Fix the 4 non-slip feet on the base of the appliance and never take them apart. Clean the grill and the accessories (Cf. CARE AND CLEANING). It is recommended to heat up the barbecue grill for about 10 minutes without any foodstuff in order to eliminate the grease that may have adhered during manufacture. OPERATION (see page 2) This barbecue grill is designed for INTERNAL use only. Place the water tray into the grill casing. Fill the tray with 0,5 litre of water (never overfill the maximum level). ATTENTION: The water in the tray will evaporate during use. It is therefore necessary to refill water from time to time. Do not spill water on the heating element, as this could be dangerous. Then insert the heating element into the grill casing as described on the picture. Pay attention to its positioning because a security switches on during this action. A bad positioning can result on a bad functioning of the appliance (the pilot light will not come on when you switch the appliance on). Then set the grill over the grill casing. Connect the appliance, switch it on and select the cooking temperature using the thermostat knob. The pilot light will come to indicate that the appliance has been switched on. If it doesn‟t come, check the positioning of the heating element. During cooking, the pilot light will go off when the cooking temperature is reached. Now put the foodstuffs onto the grill rack. There are 3 grill positions (see page 2, picture 2), according to the desired cooking intensity. The grilling times vary according to the nature of the foodstuffs and to your personal taste. When grilling is finished disconnect the appliance and let him completely cool down. PRACTICAL HINTS Frozen food should always be thawed before it is grilled. When grilling for a long time, it is recommended to occasionally carefully remove the accumulated fat from the tray.

Dismount all the accessories. Never immerse the heating element, the thermostat and the plug in water or liquid! Wipe them with a damp cloth and dry afterwards.
