How to use the two speeds of the Clatronic SM 2680 blender?

For speed 1, press the switch lightly halfway. For speed 2, press fully. Pulse mode is achieved by pressing and releasing alternately.

How to clean the blender after use?

Always unplug the appliance. Wash the bowl with water or in the dishwasher. For the blender, fill the bowl with water and run it for a few seconds, then wipe dry. The motor unit should be cleaned with a damp cloth. Beware of the sharp blade.

What to do if the appliance does not start?

Check that the plug is properly connected and that the switch is pressed. If the problem persists, the appliance may be damaged; contact customer service.

Can I blend hot foods?

No, the blender is designed for room temperature or cold foods. Hot liquids can damage the appliance and cause burns.

What is the maximum capacity of the bowl?

The bowl has a capacity of 0.6 liters. Do not overfill to avoid spillage.

How to store the appliance?

Use the provided wall mount to store the blender after cleaning. This saves space and protects the appliance.

Is the appliance suitable for blending ice cubes?

No, the blender is not designed for ice cubes or very hard foods. Use it only for soft or semi-firm foods.

Does the warranty cover wear parts?

General Safety Instructions

• Before switching on the appliance, please read these operating instructions carefully and keep them safely together with the guarantee slip, the receipt and if possible the box with inner packaging.
• Use the appliance only for private purposes in the manner for which it was intended. This appliance is not intended for industrial use. Do not use it outside (unless it is intended for conditional use outside). Keep it away from heat, direct sunlight, moisture (on no accounts immerse in liquid) and sharp edges. Do not use the appliance if your hands are wet. Pull the plug immediately if the appliance gets wet or damp. Do not touch the water. Switch off the appliance and pull the plug out of the socket (pull the plug and not the cable) if you are not using it, when attaching accessories, when cleaning or in the event of a malfunction.
• Never leave the appliance unattended. In order to protect children against the risks of electric appliances, make sure that the cable does not hang down and that children have no access to it.
• Check the appliance and the cable regularly for damage. Please do not switch on a damaged appliance.
• Do not repair the appliance yourself, but take it instead to a licensed dealer. In order to avoid risks, please only have a defect mains cable replaced with a similar cable by the manufacturer, our customer services or a similarly qualified person.
• Only use original parts.

Unpacking/Assembling the Appliance

• Remove all parts carefully from packaging. Keep all packaging materials for the duration of the guarantee period.
• Clean appliance before using it for the first time (see Cleaning and Storage).
• Attention: the mixer blade is extremely sharp! You may cut yourself.
• Store the appliance in the wall mounting supplied when not in use.

Using the Appliance

1. Fill the mixing container with the product to be mixed (max. 0.6 litre). Push mixer well in.
2. Hold the mixer in a position that allows you to operate the ON/OFF switch with your fingers.
3. Insert the plug into a 230V 50Hz socket.
4. Press the ON/OFF switch. The appliance is fitted with a two-stage switch. Stage 1 is reached by pressing the button switch lightly (halfway). Stage 2 is reached by pressing the switch further.
5. Pulsating operation can be achieved by pressing and releasing the ON/OFF switch at intervals.
6. The appliance switches off when the ON/OFF switch is released.
7. Remove the plug from the socket after use. Clean and store the appliance as described in Cleaning and Storage.

Cleaning and Storage

Remove plug before cleaning!

Clean the mixer container with water or simply rinse out.

To clean mixer, fill mixer container with water and operate the mixer as described in Using the Appliance. Then dry the mixer thoroughly. Attention! The blade is very sharp. You may cut yourself.

Wipe the outside of the motor casing with a damp cloth. After cleaning, store the mixer in the wall mounting supplied.

Guarantee

We accept a guarantee period of 24 months for the appliance we have sold from the date of purchase (receipt).

During this period we will repair any defects in the appliance or its accessories*) without charge, provided that these defects are due to material or manufacturing faults. Subject to our own decision, we will repair or replace the appliance.

Guarantee services neither extend the guarantee period nor do they provide a valid claim to a new guarantee.

The receipt of purchase is the proof of guarantee. Free exchange or repair is not possible without this receipt.

In the event of a guarantee claim, please return the entire appliance in the original packaging together with the receipt to your dealer.

*) Accessories are covered by the statutory guarantee period (8 months) and do not lead to the free replacement of the entire appliance. In this case, please call our hotline.

Broken glass parts or plastic parts will be repaired at the customer's cost.

Defects in accessories will not lead to a replacement of the entire appliance.

Free replacement will be sent instead. Do not send back the appliance in these cases, but only reorder the defect accessory! Broken glass damage will always be subject to charges!

Defects in wear parts (e.g. motor carbon, mixing hooks, driving belts, spare remote controls, spare toothbrushes, saw blades and such like) and cleaning, maintenance or the replacement of wear parts are not part of the guarantee services and are therefore subject to charge.

The guarantee will be cancelled in the event of unauthorised tampering.

After the Guarantee

Repairs can be carried out by licensed dealers or the repair services after the end of the guarantee period, but are subject to charge.
