Instruction Manual Thank you for choosing our product. We hope you will enjoy using the appliance. Symbols in this Instruction Manual Important safety information is explicitly marked. Please follow these instructions exactly in order to avoid injuries and damages to the appliance:
- The appliance is designed exclusively for private use and for the envisaged purpose. This appliance is not t for commercial use.
- Do not use it outdoors. Keep it away from sources of heat, direct sunlight, humidity (never dip it into any liquid) and sharp edges. Do not use the appliance with wet hands. If the appliance is humid or wet, unplug it immediately.
- When cleaning or putting it away, switch off the appliance and always pull out the plug from the socket (pull the plug itself, not the lead) if the appliance is not being used and remove the attached accessories.
- Do not operate the appliance without supervision. If you leave the room you should always turn the appliance off. Remove the plug from the socket.
- The appliance and the mains lead have to be checked regularly for signs of damage. If damage is found the appliance must not be used.
- Use only original spare parts.
- In order to ensure your children’s safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.
Do not allow small children to play with the foil. There is a danger of suffocation! Special Safety Instructions for This Appliance
- Always disconnect the appliance from the supply if it is left unat- tended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.
- Do not manipulate any safety switches. Misuse of the appliance may result in injury.
- This appliance shall not be used by children.
- Keep the appliance and its cord out of the reach of children.

- Appliances can be operated by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and / or knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and under- stood the hazards involved.
- Do not repair the appliance by yourself. Always contact an authorized technician. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly quali- ed persons in order to avoid a hazard. CAUTION: Do not immerse the appliance into water for cleaning. Please fol- low the instructions as stipulated in the chapter “Cleaning”. Intended Use This appliance serves as a coffee grinder or a dicer. Only use the appliance for chopping of food. It is designed for the processing of small quantities. It is intended for the use in private households and similar applications. It may only be used in the manner described in the instruc- tions for use. Any other use is not considered as use in accordance with the requirements and may lead to material damages or even to personal injuries. The manufacturer accepts no liability under any circum- stances for damages whatsoever resulting from improper use. Unpacking the Appliance
1. Remove the appliance from the package.
2. Remove all packaging material such as lms, ller, cable
holders and cardboard.
3. Check the delivery contents for completeness.
4. Should the package contents be incomplete or damages
be found, do not take the appliance into operation. Take it immediately back to the dealer. NOTE: Dust or production residues can be located on the appli- ance. We recommend to clean the appliance as described under “Cleaning”. 1. Place a container onto the appliance base. Observe the
guides (2) in the appliance base.
2. Press the container downwards and simultaneously
tighten it in clockwise direction. It must audibly engage.
3. Close the appliance with the lid. Ensure that it sits in the

- Check that the mains voltage that you want to use cor- responds with the one of the appliance. You will nd the information about this on the type plate of the appliance base.

- You turn the appliance on by pressing the lid down.
- When you let go off the lid, the appliance will turn off. NOTE: The motor drive of the appliance is equipped with a safety switch (1). If the appliance cannot be turned on, check the correct t of the lid. Pulse Operation Press the lid downwards at an interval (meaning press and release alternately), this is how you will achieve a pulse operation. Short-term Operation
- The appliance is suited for a short-term operation of a maximum of 30 seconds.
- Only use the appliance in immediate succession for a maximum of 3 times.
- Let it cool down to room temperature before using it again. Filling Quantity Observe the markings in the containers. Do not exceed the marking MAX. Using the Appliance Coffee Grinder
1. Install the container with the dicing blade (5).

lid downwards with the other hand. The grinder will start to grind. The appliance will turn off when you let go of the lid.

Dicer The appliance is very well suited for the slicing of small quantities of the following foods, for example: Boiled eggs 50 g 10 - 15 seconds Herbs 5- 10 g 15 - 20 seconds Nuts 30 g 15 - 20 seconds Almonds 30 g 15 - 20 seconds Onions 80 g 15 - 20 seconds Garlic 50 g 15 - 20 seconds Parmesan 25 g 15 - 20 seconds Bread 25 g 15 - 20 seconds NOTE:
- Only process dry food or food with a small liquid content.
- Observe the marking MAX.
- First cut the food into 2 cm pieces.
- Cooking chocolate cannot be diced with this appliance. It would melt due to heating of the appliance.
- Should you not be satised with the result, remove part of the contents. Process smaller quantities.
1. Assemble the container with the chopping knife (6).
2. Put the food into the container.
4. Hold the appliance base down with one hand. Press the
lid downwards with the other hand. The chopping blade will start to chop. The appliance will turn off when you let go of the lid.
5. Remove the lid to empty the container.
Terminating Operation
1. Pull the power cord out of the socket.
4. Clean the appliance as described under “Cleaning”.
- Always remove the plug before cleaning.
- Do not immerse the appliance base in water in any case. Other- wise this might result in an electric shock or re.
- The cutting surfaces of the knives are sharp. There is a risk of injury! Handle these with the necessary care! CAUTION:
- Only use a moist dishcloth to clean the outside of the appliance base. Then dry it with a dry towel.
- You may brush out dry residues of food that remained in the containers with a soft dry brush.
- If you have processed food with a low, natural liquid content, clean both containers and the lid in a rinsing bath by hand.
- Let the parts dry well before you reassemble the appli- ance. Storage
- Clean the appliance as described and let it dry com- pletely.
- We recommend that you store the appliance in the origi- nal packaging, should you not want to use it for a longer period of time.
- Always store the appliance out of the reach of children in a well ventilated and dry location. Troubleshooting Problem Possible cause Solution The appliance is not working. The appliance has no power supply. Check the outlet with a different appliance. Your appliance is equipped with safety switches. They prevent accidental starting of the motor. Check the correct t of the container and / or the lid. The overheating protection has been activated. The motor is too hot. Let the appliance cool down for at least 10 minutes before switching it on again. The appliance is defect. Consult our service department or an expert.
