Frequently Asked Questions - PCKSW 1216 PROFICOOK

How to use the PCKSW 1216 coffee grinder?
Add coffee beans up to the MAX mark (approx. 40 g). Close and lock the lid by aligning the symbols. Plug in the appliance and press the button to grind in pulses. Release to stop. Use short pulses for optimal grind control.
How many beans can I grind at once?
The maximum capacity is about 40 g of coffee beans, indicated by the MAX mark inside the container. Do not exceed this level to avoid overflow or malfunction.
Can I run the grinder continuously?
The appliance is designed for short-term operation: maximum 30 seconds per cycle, and up to 5 consecutive cycles. Then let it cool to room temperature before reusing to avoid overheating.
How to clean the coffee grinder?
Always unplug the appliance before cleaning. Do not immerse the grinder in water. Wipe the outside with a damp cloth and dry it. Use a dry brush to remove coffee residues. The lid can be washed in hot water with a little dish soap, then dry completely before replacing.
What to do if the appliance does not turn on?
First check that the outlet works with another device. Then ensure the lid is properly locked (symbols aligned). The appliance has a safety switch that prevents starting if the lid is not in place. If the problem persists, let the appliance cool for 10 minutes (overheating protection) or contact after-sales service.
Can I grind other ingredients than coffee?
The appliance is designed only for coffee beans. Using other ingredients could damage the blades or motor and void the warranty. Please respect the intended use.
How to adjust the grind fineness?
The grind fineness is adjusted by the pulse duration: short pulses give a coarser grind, longer pulses a finer grind. For filter coffee, use medium grind; for espresso, fine grind.
Is the appliance safe for children?
No, this appliance should not be used by children. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children. Children must not play with the appliance.
What to do if the motor overheats?
The motor is protected by an overheating protection. If the appliance stops suddenly, unplug it and wait at least 10 minutes for it to cool. Reduce usage cycles in the future (max 30 seconds, 5 cycles). If the problem persists, contact after-sales service.
How to store the grinder after use?
Clean the appliance and let it dry completely. Wind the power cord under the base. Store it in its original packaging or in a dry, well-ventilated place out of reach of children.
