USER MANUAL SP 466 ECG
Read carefully and save for future use!
Warning: The safety measures and instructions, contained in this manual, do not include all conditions and situations possible. The user must understand that common sense, caution and care are factors that cannot be integrated into any product. Therefore, these factors shall be ensured by the user/s using and operating this appliance. We are not liable for damages caused during shipping, by incorrect use, voltage fluctuation or the modification or adjustment of any part of the appliance.
To protect against a risk of fire or electric shock, basic precautions shall be taken while using electrical appliances, including the following:
- Make sure the voltage in your outlet corresponds to the voltage provided on the appliance label and that the socket is properly grounded. The outlet must be installed according to valid safety instructions.
- Never use the chopper when the power cord is damaged. All repairs including cord replacements shall be performed by a professional service centre! Do not remove protective covers of the appliance, risk of electric shock!
- Protect the appliance against direct contact with water and other liquids, to prevent potential electric shock.
- Do not use the chopper outside or in wet environment and do not touch the power cord or the appliance with wet hands. Risk of electric shock.
- Pay special attention when using the chopper near children.
- The chopper should not be left unattended when in operation.
- Pay close attention when handling attachments, blades are very sharp and can cause injury.
- Use for processing food only. The highest possible temperature of processed food is 80^ . Do not use boiling food.
- Before turning on the appliance, prepare the container in place, attach the blades to the motor and only then plug the power cord in the outlet. Remove the blade before you empty the container. This reduces the risk of injury.
- We recommend that you do not leave the plugged in chopper unattended. Disconnect the cord from the electrical outlet prior to performing maintenance. Do not pull the cord from the outlet by yanking the cord. Unplug the cord from the outlet by grasping the plug. Wrap loosely the power cord around the chopper before storing it.
- Do not use the chopper near a source of heat, e. g. an oven. Protect it against direct sunlight.
- Do not allow the cord to touch hot surfaces or lead the cord over sharp edges.
- Use accessories only advised by the manufacturer, otherwise you risk losing the warranty.
- Use the chopper only in accordance with the instructions in this manual. This chopper is designed for domestic use only. The manufacturer is not liable for damages caused by the improper use of this appliance.
- This appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the appliance and power supply away from children. The appliance may be used by persons with reduced physical, sensorial or mental capacities or lack of experience and knowledge, if they are supervised or if they were instructed how to use the appliance safely and understand potential dangers. Children shall not play with the appliance.
Do not immerse in water!
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
The chopper is intended for chopping fruit, vegetables, meat, nuts, herbs, etc.
Before first use, rinse the attachment and the container well.
- Hold the blade unit by the top plastic part and attach it carefully on the central protrusion of the bowl. Be very careful when handling it, the blades of the blade unit are very sharp.
- Place the food in the mixing bowl according to the processing guide. The volume of the food should not exceed 2/3 of the container volume. Put the lid on the bowl.
- Put the base with the motor in correct position in the lid of the bowl and onto the blade unit shaft.
- Plug the power cord in the electrical outlet.
- Press the switch on the top of the base briefly and repeatedly to process the foods to desired consistency.
- After the blade unit completely stops, unplug the power cord from the outlet and only then remove the base with the motor and the lid of the container.
- Carefully remove the blade unit from the bowl and lastly, remove the processed foods.
Safety protection: The motor is equipped with a safety circuit, which shuts the appliance off automatically in case of overload and after cooling enables using it again.

Note:
The maximum continuous operation is 20 seconds, let it cool down for at least 2 minutes before using it again. Otherwise, it might cause overheating and damage.
Do not use the chopping blade for hard foods like coffee beans, ice cubes, spices or chocolate.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Disconnect the appliance from the electrical outlet prior to performing any maintenance. Cleaning should be always performed on a cooled appliance!
Wipe the base with wet cloth. Never clean it under running water, do not rinse it and do not immerse it in water! You can clean other parts under running water. Do not wash in the dishwasher. The plastic parts may change colour after processing coloured foods. Do not use scrubber, abrasive cleaners or solvents. Before storing the chopper make sure that it is completely cooled off, that it is clean and dry.
