USER MANUAL CB 316 BOMANN
- Read the operating instructions carefully before putting the appliance into opera- tion and keep the instructions including the warranty, the receipt and, if possible, the box with the internal packing.
- The appliance is designed exclusively for private use and for the envisaged pur- pose. This appliance is not fit for commercial use. Do not use it outdoors (except if it is designed to be used outdoors). Keep it away from sources of heat, direct sunlight, humidity (never dip it into any liquid) and sharp edges. Do not use the appliance with wet hands. If the appliance is humid or wet, unplug it immediately. Do not put it in water.
- When cleaning or putting it away, switch off the appliance and always pull out the plug from the socket (pull on the plug, not the cable) if the appliance is not being used and remove the attached accessories.
- Never leave the appliance unsupervised. To protect children from the dangers posed by electrical appliances, make sure that the cable is hanging low and that children do not have access to the appliance.
- Check the appliance and the cable for damage on a regular basis. Do not use the appliance if it is damaged.
- Do not try to repair the appliance on your own. Always contact an authorized technician. To avoid the exposure to danger, always have a faulty cable be repla- ced only by the manufacturer, by our customer service or by a qualified person and with a cable of the same type.
- Use only original spare parts.

- The machine should only be used under supervision!
- Do not manipulate any of the safety switches!
- Do not remove the lid during operation.
- When mixing, keep your hands and other objects out of the jug!
- Attention, the cutting blades are extremely sharp! Handle with extreme care when using the appliance and when cleaning the blades!
- Never pour liquids hotter than 60°C into the jug!
- Never use the mixer when it is empty!
- Do not put hard foods such as ice cubes, nutmeg or large pieces of chocolate into the container! The blade can be damaged! List of Parts
1. Before starting, make sure that the knob is in 0 position and that the plug is not
2. Screw the carafe on the motor casing.
3. Insert the plug in a duly installed 230V/50Hz protective contact socket.
4. Put the ingredients in the carafe and put the lid on. The lid must be closed pro-
perly. Hold the carafe during the mixing.
5. For constant mixing (continuous mode):
When operating in levels 1 or 2 snap the selector into the desired position: Level 1 = low rpm Level 2 = high rpm Shift the selector to „0“ to switch off the appliance.
6. For pulse mode (mixing at brief intervals) shift the switch to „0“ position. The
switch snaps into place. The appliance is off now. Turn the switch now to position „P“. The switch must be kept in this position for the desired interval. When the switch is released, it returns automatically to „0“ position. Cleaning Always disassemble the mixer after use. Wash and dry all the parts of the decanter.
Warning: The electric plug must be removed before the mixer is taken apart!
All the parts of the decanter can be washed in the uppermost rack of the dishwas- her. Dry the external surface of the mixer base with a moist cloth. Important notice on the safety switch The all-purpose mixer is equipped with a safety switch that avoids that the motor run without the decanter mounted on it (danger of injury!). The universal mixer can be switched on only if the carafe is screwed correctly on the drive shaft. This appliance conforms with the CE directives for radio interference suppression and low-voltage safety and has been built to meet current safety requirements. Subject to technical changes without prior notice! Guarantee We undertake to guarantee the appliance sold by our company for 24 months as of the date of purchase (cash receipt). During the life of the warranty we shall provide for the repair or replacement of the appliance owing to material or manufacturing defects absolutely free of charge.

The replacement and repair will not be performed free of charge without this proof of purchase. Should the warranty be valid, please consign the complete appliance in its original packing together with the cash receipt to your local dealer. You are not entitled to the replacement of the appliance owing to broken glass parts and faulty accessories. However, said parts will be replaced free of charge. In this case only the faulty accessory needs to be ordered without sending back the whole appliance! The cleaning, servicing and replacement of wear parts are not covered by this war- ranty and hence are to be paid for. The warranty is terminated in case of handling on the part of Third parties. After the warranty Once the warranty has expired, repairs can be carried out by specialized technici- ans or repair services against the payment of the service.
