Frequently Asked Questions - Wireless Phone Jack AUDIOLINE

How to install the Wireless Phone Jack base?
Connect the supplied phone cord between the base and the wall outlet. If a phone was already connected, disconnect it and plug it into the base. Then plug the base into a power outlet. The green LED should light up.
How to install an extension?
Connect the phone, modem, fax, or decoder box to the extension. Set the switch to S (voice) for a phone or C (data) for a modem/fax. Plug the extension into a power outlet. The green or yellow LED lights up after a few seconds.
How to add an additional extension?
Ensure the system is powered on. Disconnect all cords from the base. Plug the new extension into a nearby outlet. Temporarily connect the base and extension with a phone cord until the LED changes from red to green/yellow. Disconnect the cord, then reconnect everything normally.
What does the steady green light on the base mean?
The steady green light indicates the base is powered and ready to use, but no extension is active.
What does the flashing green light on the extension (mode C) mean?
The flashing green light on the extension means the extension is set to Computer mode (C) and is in use (e.g., a modem is communicating).
Why is there no dial tone on my phone connected to the extension?
Check that the base and extension are powered, cables are properly connected, the extension is registered to the base, and it is within range (max 50 m). Make sure the switch is set to S for a phone.
My modem/box does not work through the extension, what should I do?
Check that the extension switch is set to C (Computer) and not S (Speech). Also ensure the LED is green (steady or flashing) and that the extension is properly registered.
How do I know how many extensions are registered on my base?
The manual does not provide a direct method to check the exact number. You can turn the base off and on; if a red light flashes rapidly on an extension during registration attempt, the maximum of 4 extensions has already been reached.
Can I use Wireless Phone Jack outdoors?
No, the device is designed for indoor use only. Do not expose it to moisture, rain, or extreme temperatures.
What to do if an extension flashes red before the registration procedure?
If the extension flashes red, it may already be registered to another base. To reset it, turn the power off and on five times in a row until the LED stays steady red. Then proceed with normal registration.
