USER MANUAL Compact Home Steamer 332770 PRINCESS
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS When using your appliance, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following:
1. Read all instructions before use.
2. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
3. Do not leave appliance unattended while connected to power source.
4. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance
malfunctions, or is dropped or damaged in any manner. Return appliance to nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or adjustment.
5. To reduce the risk of contact with hot water emitting from steam vents, check appliance
before each use by holding it away from body and operating.
6. The unit has to be placed on the floor when operation.
7. Use appliance only for its intended use. Steam only in an up and down vertical motion.
Never use steamer in a horizontal position or tilt into a backward position, this may result in water discharge.9
8. To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
9. Never tug cord to disconnect from outlet; instead grasp plug and pull to disconnect.
10. Do not allow cord to touch sharp edges or hot surfaces. Let appliance cool completely before putting
away. Loop cord loosely around appliance when storing.

Aroma Device is integrated in the steam head of the compact steamer. Its function is to diffuse the aroma when steaming. In addition to steaming your clothing, it will get rid of bad smells and add your favorite aroma to your clothing. HOW TO USE THE AROMA FUNCTION: Detach the Aroma Device before using.
1. Pull up the finger ring and then take out

After turning on the steamer, steam will come through the hose and pass through the Aroma Device as well because it is situated in the head of the steamer. Essential oil will diffuse on your clothing. As a result, your clothing will be infused with your favourite aroma after ironing. CAUTION: Please DON’T take out the Aroma device when it is operating. PARTS OF THE AROMA DEVICE:
Please read the instructions for use and important safeguards carefully DO NOT PLUG IN OR TURN ON UNTIL ASSEMBLY IS COMPLETED.
1. Remove the Hose Clamp (15). Insert the Hose Connector (08) into the Hose Adaptor (13), and then
replace Hose Clamp (15)
2. Turn the Reservoir Cover (10) anticlockwise to open it, and then fill with water to Max.
Line (1.6 L) indicated on the Reservoir Window (05), never overfill the steamer and never fill it with hot water. Finally, turn the Reservoir Cover clockwise to lock into place. When doubt use distilled or demineralized water. Also use distilled or demineralized water only as advised above.
3. The steamer is ready for use.
1. Place the Steamer on flat and stable floor. Note: this appliance must be placed on the floor.

material lightly with steaming head and moving in an up/down vertical motion. Begin at the top of the garment and move in a downward direction. Steam with hose in an upright position, this allows con- densation to flow back into the steamer. Do not touch silk or velvet with the steam head. DO NOT ALLOW STEAMER TO RUN DRY
- Tips: If steaming in a low position near floor, straighten hose up and out frequently to clear condensa- tion. If hose becomes clogged, it will make a gurgling noise or the amount of steam will be reduced. You may also experience dripping if the hose becomes clogged. Heavier fabrics may require repeated steaming. Exercise caution at all times.
- WARNING: Never steam clothes while they are being worn. Hose and steam head will become hot during use. This is normal. Use caution and avoid prolonged contact.
- In case the steam hose is curved to block the steam out, the Steam Release Valve (11) will be activated for pressure release as safety feature.13 CAUTION: Be careful of the steam during steaming. During operation, the steamer hose may make a gurgling noise. This is normal because of condensation. If it begins to gurgle, extend hose up and out to move excess moisture back into the base.
9. 2 in 1 Brush (Lint & Bristle) (03)
Be sure unit is unplugged and completely cool before attaching this accessory. Attach the 2 in 1 brush to the steam head by lining up the bottom of the brush with the bottom of the steam head. Gently push the top of the brush into place on the steam head until it clicks into place. - Gently brush the area to be steamed following the grain or nap of the fabric. - Remove the fabric brush once unit is unplugged and completely cool by pressing on the release tab on top of brush while pulling it forward. AFTER USE
1. After using the steamer, push the on/off switch to the O position. The power indicator goes off. You can
then remove the plug from socket.
2. Place back the steam head on the steamer unit.
3. Remove the hose clamp.
4. Remove the hose from hose adaptor.
- Make sure the unit has completely cooled down before removing it from the Hose Adaptor.
4. Store the steam hose in the hose wrapping position (06) when not in use for easy storage.
5. Turn the reservoir cover out from the unit anticlockwise and empty the water container from the opening
of the hose adaptor, and lock the reservoir cover back into place.
6. You can carry your steamer by its handle for easy portability and storage.
7. For cord and hose winding or transport, never turn your appliance upside down.
Empty all water from the unit before storing it.
Never touch the steam head until it cools completely Never operate without water. Unplug after each time use.14
Clean the main unit with a damp cloth. To maintain maximum performance, your steamer must be descaled occasionally. The descaling intervals will depend on the water quality and the frequency of use. The unit should be descaled at least once a year or every 100 hours of use. For descaling, proceed as follows:
1. Unplug the unit and fill it with 1/3 white vinegar and 2/3 water.
2. Let the appliance run for 3 minutes and do not steam any clothing with this mixture.
3. Switch the appliance off. Unplug it and allow cooling down for at least 30 minutes.
4. Empty the water over the sink. Rinse the appliance with fresh water.
5. Fill the unit with fresh water and repeat steps 2-4.
