Preparation of foods
Wash the fruit and vegetables. If necessary, cut them into pieces so that they fit into the feed tube (9). Lots of fruits and vegetables will not need to be chopped because the feed tube (9) is very wide.

3 Place the juicer lid (7) onto the container (5) and turn anticlockwise until it shups -in.
4 Push the collector tray for fruit pulp (4) under the juicer cover (7) until it locks into place. (You will cut down on cleaning if you line the collector tray with a plastic bag.)

7 Push the fruit or vegetables into the feed opening and press down with the pusher (8). Press down on the pusher evenly. Make sure that the pusher (8) moves in the furrow of the feed tube. Do not overfill the feed tube (9).

Make sure that the collector tray for fruit pulp (4) does not become overfilled. The tray can be emptied during juice extraction. You must switch off the appliance and replace the plastic bag or empty the container.
Warning
Take care when handling the filter - it can cause injuries! Never allow the appliance to run when it is empty. Do not run for more than 7 minutes.
If food sticks to the inside of the container (5) during juice extraction, stop the process and remove the food with a spatula. Never insert fingers or other objects into the feed tube; always use the pusher. Otherwise, you could injure yourself!

Recommended recipes for delicious healthy fruit juices
In fruit and vegetables, 95% of the nutrients are contained in the juice. Fresh fruit and vegetable juices are an essential part of a healthy balanced nutrition based on abundant vitamins and minerals.
You can prepare the fruit juices individually according your taste.
The juices should be consumed immediately after their preparation in order to avoid vitamin losses.
Always use fresh and cleaned vegetables or fruit.
Hint
Add a dash of lemon juice to your apple juice to avoid discolouration. (or any fruit juices)
If you juice numerous ingredients of varying softness you will achieve best results if you process hard and soft ingredients alternately. Due to this alternation of hard and soft ingredients, the skin is released to a better extent and the juice extractor produces the maximum amount of juice from the ingredients.

The amount of juice depends on the fruit type and quality. The actual amount of juice is individual and cannot be stated in particular.
