Which car seats are compatible with the Ypsi/Z4 double adapters?

The adapters are compatible with PRIMO VIAGGIO LOUNGE, PRIMO VIAGGIO i-Size/i Plus, and PRIMO VIAGGIO SL (produced after 01/07/18) car seats.

Can I use two car seats at the same time?

Yes, the double adapters allow you to install two car seats or a combination of car seat, carrycot, or Companion seat. Consult the manual for allowed configurations.

What is the maximum weight supported for each child?

With a car seat: 13 kg. With Ypsi carrycot: 9 kg. With Ypsi or Companion seat: 15 kg from 6 months.

How to install the A (upper) adapters?

Fold the chassis, lock the front wheels, shorten the handle. Lift the handle to fold completely, then attach the adapter by snapping it on. Then unfold the chassis.

How to install the B (lower) adapters?

Attach the adapter to the chassis by aligning it with the mushroom button. Ensure the brake cable is excluded, then close the red tab until it clicks. Repeat on the other side.

Can I use the Ypsi carrycot with the adapters?

Yes, the Ypsi carrycot is compatible. The maximum child weight is 9 kg and the product is suitable for children who cannot sit up on their own.

What are the prohibited combinations?

Prohibited combinations are listed on page 6 of the manual. In general, do not exceed the prescribed number of occupants and do not use incompatible accessories.

How to clean the adapters?

Clean them with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not use solvents or abrasive products.

The "double adapters Ypsi" are PegPerego adapters compatible with the Ypsi PegPerego chassis, transforming it into a twin or family stroller.

It is possible to fasten the following components in various combinations:

• PRIMO VIAGGIO LOUNGE
• PRIMO VIAGGIO i-Size/i Plus
• PRIMO VIAGGIO SL (manufactured after 01/07/18).
• YPSI BASSINET
• COMPANION SEAT
• YPSI SEAT

WARNING

- IMPORTANT: READ CAREFULLY AND KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.

The child's safety could be at risk if these instructions are not followed.
- This product was designed for the transport of 1 child in the seat.
- Do not use this product for a number of occupants greater than that intended by the manufacturer.
- WARNING: When using the adapters: Ypsi double adapter, Ypsi Seat (Companion Seat) is type-approved for children from 6 months of age up to 15 kg

of weight in the seat.

• Ypsi Chassis + Car Seat: is approved for children from birth up to 13 kg of weight;
  When used in combination with car seat, this vehicle does not replace a cot or a bed.
  Should your child need to sleep, then it should be placed in a suitable pram body, cot or bed.
  Ypsi Chassis + Ypsi Bassinet: is approved for children from birth up to 9 kg of weight.
  When used in combination with pram body : this product is suitable for a child who cannot sit up by itself, roll over and a cannot push itself up on it's hands and knees. Maximum weight of the child : 9 kg.
  The carrying handle (if present) should be left outside the pram body and out of the child's reach during use.
• Attach the adapters onto the chassis before attaching the bassinet, seat and car seat.
• WARNING: check the adapters are properly attached onto the chassis

and the infant bassinet, seat and car seat are properly attached to the adapters every time before using.

WARNING: Never leave the child unattended.

WARNING: avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out. Always use a complete 5-point seat belt.

WARNING: when using the infant car seat in the car, check the adapters are not attached onto the infant car seat. Remove the adapters from the infant car seat before installing it in the car.

WARNING: the adapters must always be attached onto the chassis. Never use the bassinet, seat and car seat with the adapters attached unless it is being used on the chassis.

This product is not a toy. Do not let your child play with this product.

The assembly and preparation of the product must be carried out by an adult

Do not use this product if there are parts missing or signs of breakage.

Before fastening the various components to the chassis:

Car seat or seat or bassinet, fully extend the chassis' handlebar.

WARNING: The

COMBINATIONS on pages 6 barred by thee prohibition sign are not allowed.

- Any weights hanging on the handlebar or handles could make the item unstable; follow the manufacturer's instructions regarding the maximum loads transportable.

- Do not use the product near to stairs or steps, heat sources, naked flames or dangerous objects within reach of the child.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

There are two types of adapters:

- those to be applied in the upper part of the chassis (ADAPTERS A)

- those to be applied to the lower part of the chassis (ADAPTERS B).

ADAPTERS A

Fastening the adapters to the upper part of the chassis (ADAPTERS A)

1 First, close the chassis.

Then, lock the front wheels into the fixed position (fig_a) and shorten the handlebar to its shortest position (fig b). Rotate the safety lever to the left (fig_c) and pull the frame's internal handle towards you (fig_d). Lift the handle until the frame is completely folded (fig_e).

2 When folded, the stroller will stand upright. Fasten the adapter as shown making sure it clicks into place to ensure it is secure.

3 The Ypsi chassis can be opened once the adapters have been fastened (fig_a).

To release Adapters A from the chassis

• close the chassis;
• press on the side of the adapter as show and lift it (fig_b).

ADAPTERS B

1 Fasten the adapter directly to the chassis, making it coincide with the chassis' mushroom button, as shown.
2 Before closing the red tab on the side of the adapter, take care to exclude the brake wire. Close the tab until it clicks. Once secure, proceed in the same way on the other side of the chassis.

To unfasten Adapters B from the chassis, perform these operations in reverse order.

COMBINATION

3 WARNING: Fully extend the chassis' handlebar.
