How to use the chopper blade?

Insert the blade into the accessory holder until you hear a click, then place the holder on the central shaft of the jug. Ensure the lid is properly closed before starting. The blade allows you to chop, grind or make puree.

Can I wash the accessories in the dishwasher?

Yes, the following parts can be washed in the dishwasher on gentle cycle: the large cone, small cone, spatula, dough hook and pusher/measuring cup. Other parts must be washed by hand with warm soapy water. Never immerse the motor unit.

What is the maximum capacity of the bowl?

The maximum capacity is 1500 ml (MAX level). Do not exceed this limit to avoid overflow, especially with hot liquids.

What should I do if I exceed the MAX level?

If the container is too full, it may spill boiling liquid, which poses a risk of burns. Always respect the MAX level and, for hot liquids, only fill half and use the slowest speed.

How to use the citrus juicer?

Select the appropriate cone (large for oranges, small for lemons/limes), place it in the center of the filter, then insert the filter into the accessory holder. Place it on the central shaft of the jug and turn clockwise until it clicks. Press the citrus fruit with your hand.

Are the blades dangerous?

Yes, the blades are very sharp. Handle them with care during assembly, disassembly, emptying the bowl and cleaning. Keep the appliance out of reach of children.

How to clean the motor unit?

First unplug the appliance. Clean the motor unit with a damp cloth with a few drops of detergent, then let it dry. Never immerse it in water or any other liquid.

Can I blend hot liquids?

Yes, but with caution: the volume of hot liquid must not exceed half the bowl capacity. Only use the slowest speed to avoid burning splashes.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Before use:

Make sure that all the product's packaging has been removed.
Before using the product for the first time, clean the parts that will come into contact with food in the manner described in the cleaning section.

Use:

Extend the cable completely before plugging it in.
Place the jar into the motor body and block it by turning clockwise. (Fig. 1).
Choose the desired accessory and place it according to the instructions.
Place the lid and block it by turning clockwise. (Fig. 1).
Connect the appliance to the mains.
Add ingredients in the opening and use the pusher to process the food.
The pusher can be used as a measuring cup.
Turn the appliance on, by using one of the speed selector.
IMPORTANT: while the appliance is operating, never place fingers into the jar. Always use the pusher for adding ingredients.
Note: the appliance cannot be switched on until the bowl and the lid has been attached and screwed on tight.

Beating disc (g):

This accessory is used to prepare cream, egg whites and mayonnaise.
Insert the accessory into the holder (C) until hear the click. Make sure it is correctly fitted.
Place the accessory holder on the central axis (B1) of the jar.

Kneading Hook (H):

This accessory is used to knead heavy dough and mix ingredients that should not be chopped.
Insert the accessory into the holder (C) until hear the click. Make sure it is correctly fitted.
Place the accessory holder on the central axis (B1) of the jar.

Grating/Slicing Discs (I, J, K):

These accessories are used to cut or grate fruit, vegetables, cheese, etc. There are different sizes of zest and cutting, besides being reversible.

Insert the accessory into the holder (C). Make sure it is correctly fitted.
Place the accessory holder on the central axis (B1) of the jar.

Juicer (M):

This accessory is used to squeeze citrus fruits. There are two different sizes: the large one for oranges and the small one for limes or lemons.
Select the cone according to the food to be squeezed, placing it in the center of the filter.
Insert the filter of the juicer into the accessory holder (C). Make sure it is correctly fitted.
Place the accessory holder on the central axis (B1) of the jar and turn it clockwise until hear the click.

Once you have finished using the appliance:

Stop the appliance, selecting position 0 on the selector control.
Unplug the appliance from the mains.
Open the lid by turning in the opposite direction.
Lift the accessory and the support.
Remove the accessory form the holder. In the case of the blade and kneading hook, press the two tabs until the accessory is released.
Unlock the jar by turning in the opposite direction.
Clean the appliance.

CLEANING

Disconnect the appliance from the mains and allow it to cool before undertaking any cleaning task.
Clean the equipment with a damp cloth with a few drops of washing-up liquid and then dry.
Do not use solvents, or products with an acid or base pH such as bleach, or abrasive products, for cleaning the appliance.
Never submerge the appliance in water or any other liquid or place it under running water.
- It is advisable to clean the appliance regularly and remove any food remains.
If the appliance is not in good condition of cleanliness, its surface may degrade and inexorably affect the duration of the appliance's useful life and could become unsafe to use.
