Box content
- Electric epilator
- 2 protective caps
- Cleaning brush
- USB Type-C charging cable
- Instruction manual
3. OPERATION
The epilator features an operating light located on the front of the device.
This light illuminates the epilation area, helping to detect even the finest or most difficult-to-see hairs. It automatically turns on when the epilator is powered on. No additional configuration is required, as it remains active throughout the entire epilation process.
3.1. Charging the epilator
Fully charge the epilator's battery before first use. To do so:
- Connect one end of the power cord to the epilator body and the other to a compatible power adapter.
- Charge the epilator for approximately 90 minutes.
- Whilst charging, the indicator light will illuminate red.
- When fully charged, the indicator light will turn white.
3.2. Changing the protection cap and delicate cap
Use the most suitable protective cap for the area you intend to epilate.
To remove the protective cap, hold the epilation head with one hand and, with the other, pull upward on the protective cap's side tabs.
To attach it, place it over the epilation head and press the front and back of the protective cap until you hear a click.
3.3. Pre-epilation tips
For best results, we recommend exfoliating your skin before epilation. This step offers several benefits:
- Prevents ingrown hairs, helping them grow properly.
- Removes dead skin cells, improving skin texture.
- Prepares the skin to better absorb moisturising products.
- Contributes to maintaining healthy, well-cared-for skin.
Notes:
- Exfoliate the day before epilation.
- Avoid exfoliating immediately after epilation to prevent irritation.
3.4. Hair removal from arms and legs
- For maximum efficiency, it is recommended to use the epilator on short hair (0.5 cm).
-
Before epilating, we recommend taking a warm shower. This helps dilate the pores and therefore makes hair extraction easier.
-
First, press the power/speed setting button to operate the device. The epilator will start at low speed.
-
If you wish to select high speed, press the button again.
-
Hold the epilator at a 90° angle to your skin, stretch the skin with one hand and move the epilator with the other in the opposite direction to hair growth.
Note:
Do not use it in circular motions or move it back and forth.
- Move the epilator slowly and press it gently against the skin. Do not apply excessive pressure; otherwise, the device will operate more slowly, and epilation will be less effective.
- When you have finished using the epilator, turn it off by pressing the power button again from the highest speed setting.
Note:
All hair removal methods that pull hair from the root may cause irritation or ingrown hairs (causing, among other things, discomfort or skin redness). This is a normal reaction and will disappear quickly, although it may last longer when epilating for the first time or if you have sensitive skin.
3.5. Underarm hair removal
If you have long hair (more than 1 cm), we recommend trimming it with scissors before using the epilator.
Use the low-speed setting and move the device upwards and then downwards while keeping the skin taut.
3.6. Moisturising
After epilation, we recommend applying a moisturising cream to soften the skin. Apply it using circular motions to enhance absorption.
3.7. Lock
The epilator's travel lock is useful for transport, preventing accidental activation.
To activate the lock, press and hold the power/speed setting button for 3 seconds. If the epilator is on, it will turn off.
If you try to turn on the epilator when the travel lock is activated, the charging indicator light will flash white three times.
To deactivate the lock, press and hold the button again for 3 seconds. The epilator will start operating.
