3. OPERATION
The epilator has a light on the top, just below the head where the 48 tweezers are located. The light illuminates the epilation area, helping to detect even the finest or hard-to-see hairs. It will turn on automatically when the epilator is switched on. No additional settings are required, so it will be on throughout the entire epilation process.
3.1. Charging the epilator
Fully charge the battery before using the appliance for the first use. To do that:
- Connect one end of the charging cable to the appliance and the other to a compatible power adapter.
- Charge the epilator for about 90 minutes.
- When the battery is charging, the indicator light will turn on red.
- When the battery is fully charged, the indicator light will turn on green.
- When the battery level is low, the indicator light will flash green and red alternately.
3.2. Pre-depilation tips
For better results, it is recommended to exfoliate the skin before epilation. This step has several benefits:
- It prevents ingrown hairs, helping them to grow properly.
- It removes dead skin cells, improving skin texture.
- It prepares the skin to absorb moisturising products better.
- It contributes to the maintenance of healthy and smooth skin.
Note:
- Exfoliate the skin the day before epilation.
- Avoid exfoliating the skin just after epilation to prevent irritation.
3.3. Arm and leg hair removal
- For greater efficiency, it is recommended to use the epilator on short hair (0.5 cm).
-
Before epilation, take a shower with warm water. This will help to dilate the pores and will make hair removal easier.
-
First remove the protective cover from the epilator.
- Then press the power button to start the appliance. The epilator will switch on at low speed.
- If you want to select the high speed setting, press the button again.
- Place the epilator at 90° to the skin, stretch the skin with one hand and move the epilator with the other hand in the opposite direction of hair growth.
Note: Do not use it in circular or back-and-forth motions.
-
Move the epilator slowly and press it gently against the skin. Do not exert too much pressure on the skin, otherwise the appliance will work slower and epilation will be less effective.
-
When you have finished using the appliance, switch it off by pressing and holding the power button.
Note:
All hair removal methods that pluck hairs by the root can lead to irritation or ingrown hairs (causing, among other things, itching, discomfort and reddening of the skin). This is a normal reaction and will go away quickly, but may last longer when using the epilator for the first time or if you have sensitive skin.
3.4. Underarm hair removal
If your underarm hair is long (more than 1 cm), it is recommended to trim it with scissors before using the epilator.
Use the low speed setting and move the appliance upwards and then downwards, stretching the skin.
3.5. Moisturising
After epilation, it is recommended to apply a moisturising cream to soften the skin. Apply the product and massage it in circular motions to help the skin absorb it.
