3. ASSEMBLY

STEP 1

  1. Put the front stabiliser (B) into the main frame (A) and fix it using two screws (D07), another screw (D28), 3 spring washers (D26) and 3 plain washers (D08). Use the Allen key B17.
  2. Put the left (C) and right (D) rear stabilisers into the main frame (A) and fix them using 8 screws (D10), 8 spring washers (D26) and 8 plain washers (D08). Use the Allen key (B17). Fig. 3

STEP 2

First, insert the tabs (H) of the tablet holder (E) into the holes in the handlebar (K). To fix it,

use the star tip of the spanner (B18) and screw in the flat head self-tapping screw (D16). Fig. 4

STEP 3

  1. Connect the E09 and E10 cables as shown in the figure and, next, use 4 screws (D12) with 4 plain washers (D24) to fix the handlebar (F) to its stem (A02). Use the Allen key (B17).

ATTENTION: pay special attention not to catch the wires!

  1. Use the spanner (B18) to fix the left pedal (C45) on the left crank (B01) and the right pedal (C46) on the right crank (B02).

ATTENTION: the right pedal (C46) is tightened clockwise, while the left pedal (C45) is tightened counterclockwise. Make sure that you have put each pedal on its corresponding side!

  1. Place the front stabiliser trim (C28) and fix it to the main frame (A). To do this, use a hexagon socket head cap screw (D13), as shown in the figure. Fig. 5

STEP 4

Put the saddle (G) on its bracket (A03) and fix it using the saddle adjustment knob (C21) and a square neck bolt (D02). Fig. 6.

STEP 5

Install the exercise bike in a place where you can connect it to a power source. Then, connect the power adapter (E14) to the power interface as shown in the figure. Fig. 7

STEP 6

If you notice that the machine moves because it is placed on an uneven surface, adjust the front and rear feet (C29). Turn them clockwise or counterclockwise to balance the machine, as shown in the figure. Fig. 8

4. OPERATION

Getting on and off the bicycle

Before getting on the bicycle, make sure the pedals are properly fixed. Stand next to the bike and pass the leg that is closer to it over the frame to sit on the saddle; then, insert your feet in the pedals.

To get off the exercise bike, do the previous step in reverse order.

Adjusting the resistance

The pedalling resistance can be adjusted with the console built into the handlebar or with the

external pushbuttons on the handles. Read the console operation to adjust it. If you need to make an emergency stop, press the brake until the pedals stop (Fig. 9).

Saddle and handlebar adjustment

To adjust the height of the saddle, remember that the correct position is the one in which your waist is not tilted to the side when the pedal is in the lower position and the foot is perfectly inserted in the toe clips.

The saddle is in the correct position if the user has a slightly bent knee when one of the pedals is at a 90-degree angle relative to the ground.

Make sure the handlebar height is approximately at the same height as the saddle. Remember that this parameter will depend on the biomechanics and physiology of the user. If you feel uncomfortable in this position or your knees touch the handlebar, you should increase the height slightly.

  1. To adjust the handlebar or saddle height, loosen the L-shaped adjustment piece (B12) by turning it counterclockwise. To retighten it, turn it clockwise. When using the machine, refer to this part (B12) to distinguish the direction. Fig. 10

  2. To adjust the saddle position, loosen the adjustment knob (C21) by turning it counterclockwise. Next, place the saddle (G) in the appropriate position. Turn the adjustment knob (C21) clockwise to retighten it. Fig. 10

Programmes

The system has 3 programmes to choose from (P1, P2 and P3). Each of the 3 programmes has 16 different resistance and incline settings. When a programme is selected, it starts with setting 1 and changes to the next setting every 10 seconds or so, until it reaches setting number 16. At this point, if the activity is not paused, the programme automatically restarts at setting 1. If during the course of the programme the user wants to change the level of resistance or incline, this can be done. However, after about 10 seconds, the configuration will change again according to the programme.

Below is a table with the settings for each of the 3 programmes.
