CAUTION

  • During the ice making process, make sure that the ice collecting tray is placed inside the machine.
  • Do not press the power button too often (wait at least 5 minutes between operations) to prevent compressor damage.
  • Ensure that the water used in the ice maker is potable and clean; otherwise, limescale deposits may build up, which could cause the machine to malfunction.
  • Correct procedure for removing the ice collecting tray: before removing the ice collecting tray, manually lift the transparent lid and then hold the tray handle to lift the tray upwards.
  • Correct procedure for placing the ice collector tray: before placing it, manually lift the transparent lid and then hold the tray handle to adjust it from the edge of the machine from top to bottom.

- The add water alarm light comes on in the following situations: a. When the machine is turned on, the upper tank drain valve operates for 2

minutes, but the lower tank float does not rise (water shortage).

b. The sound of the water pump suddenly increases (lower tank does not have enough water, pump is empty or running half-empty).
c. The water pump is damaged or the surface of the lower tank is covered with ice sand and cannot operate normally.

- When the ice collector tray is almost full, the last ice plate may become blocked due to ice on top, preventing the ice on the evaporator from shutting off properly. The ice full indicator light may not illuminate, but the appliance may also enter an extended discharge programme. In this case, switch to standby mode, manually remove the ice and then press the power button again to return to normal ice making.

- At the end of ice making or in the event of a shutdown due to water shortage, discard the ice cubes as soon as possible to prevent them from melting and causing an overflow of water over time.

4. Cleaning and maintenance

  • Regularly clean the interior, collection tray, water tank, evaporator, float switch and temperature sensor.
  • Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and remove the ice cubes. Use clean water to clean both the inside and outside of the machine. Avoid spraying chemicals or solvents such as acids, gasoline or oil. Rinse well before use. In the standby state, press the cleaning button to activate the cleaning mode. After 3 minutes, cleaning is complete. Drain the water from the tank, add drinking water and make ice cubes.
  • If the water spray pipe is dirty or the small orifice is blocked, disassemble it for cleaning.
  • Keep ventilation openings clear of obstructions. Do not use mechanical devices or other methods to accelerate defrosting, except those recommended by the manufacturer.
  • To ensure the cleanliness of the ice, change the water in the reservoir at least once a day. If it is not used for a long time, drain the water and clean it.
  • If the compressor stops due to lack of water, full tank, power failure, etc., it will take 3 minutes to restart when the compressor is restarted.
  • Use potable water before starting ice making, during initial installation or when reusing after a long period of non-use.
    ● Do not exceed the maximum water level. Fig. 3
