- Every tip and drill bit is marked by size and shape. When fixing them in the chuck, you must check there is no play.
ENGLISH
- Use the central locking position of the rotating direction switch for breaks in work or for changing insertion tools.
Screwing
- If you use materials such as softwood, you can screw without pre-drilling.
- Otherwise, if you are going to work with harder wood, it is advisable to use a drilling machine to drill a hole before screwing.
- "Countersunk" holes must be drilled if "countersunk" screws are to be used.
- Be especially careful when using small screws and drill bits, as they may be damaged if a high torque or speed has been selected.
Drilling
- During drilling, it is advisable to take breaks and remove the drill bit from the device to allow it to cool down.
- It is strongly recommended that the workpiece be firmly clamped using suitable clamping devices.
-
You must select the speed level depending on the type of material used and the size of the drill bit:
-
For small drilling diameters / soft materials > high speed
- For large drilling diameters / hard materials > low speed
– Mark the point to be drilled properly before drilling.
- To work on metal materials it is advisable to select a low speed and use suitable drills (speed steel HSS).
- Drill bits used for drilling metal can also be used for drilling plastic materials.
– After use, it is advisable to cool the drill bits with a suitable lubricant.
- For drilling wood, it is advisable to use specific drill bits.
- In order to avoid breaking the piece of wood to be worked on, you can place another block of wood under the piece of wood or you can drill on both sides.
- If the drilling on wood is going to be very deep, you can use an auger bit (not included). For large drilling you can use a Forstner type drill bit (not included). For other uses, you can use a wood drill bit with a centred tip.
Rotating direction (Fig. K)

Warning
The rotating direction must only be changed when the device is off to avoid damage to the device.
– Select the appropriate rotating direction with the switch (4).
- You must press the switch clockwise or counterclockwise (4) to change the rotation (Fig. K and L).
iii. Screwing
iv. Unscrewing
- You can carry out a test run before starting work, as an incorrect rotating direction can cause damage to both the workpiece and the insertion tool.
- If you set the rotating direction switch to its central locking position, you also lock the ON/OFF switch.
Switching on and off (Fig. M)
– Depending on how firmly you press the on/off switch (5), the speed will be higher or lower.
- You must check that the tip or drill bit is firmly fixed and that the tightening torque is appropriate for the work to be carried out.
- You must check that the workpiece is correctly fixed.
- You must hold down the on/off switch (5) during the screwing/drilling process.
– During these processes, the LED light (15) will be on.
– If you want the tool to stop, release the switch (5).
