• This user manual contains information on safety and important instructions related to the use and maintenance of the device. Take all the time you need to read this user manual before using the device and keep it in case you need to check it in the future or for new users.
• Each dryer has been tested by a quality control before commercialisation, guaranteeing its conditions of use.
• The warnings included in the manual do not cover all possible risks that may arise. Caution and care must be exercised during installation, maintenance and operation of the dryer.

This symbol means: WARNING! Risk of fire.

• Children under 3 years old must stay away, unless they are supervised.
• This device is designed for domestic use only and is not intended for bars, restaurants, farmhouses, hotels, motels, and offices.
• Use this product only for clothes whose care label specifies they are suitable for dryer.
• Cecotec shall not be liable for any damage caused by improper use or transport.
• The appliance must only be installed and repaired by Cecotec's Official Technical Support Service or by an

authorised repair agent. Cecotec is not liable for damage caused by repairs by unauthorised personnel.

- WARNING: Never spray or pour water inside the dryer to clean it. There is a risk of electric shock.

- Do not let any animal near the dryer.

- Fabric softeners or similar products should be used according to the manufacturer instructions.

- Remove all the objects from the pockets: lighters, matches, etc.

- The appliance should not be installed behind a lockable door, a sliding door or a hinged door on the opposite side of the dryer door in such a way as to prevent the dryer door from being fully opened.

- WARNING: Keep ventilation openings in the appliance housing or built-in structure clear of obstruction.

• Install the dryer on a flat and stable surface.

- Do not install the dryer in damp rooms, such as bathrooms, or outdoors.

- Run the dryer in an environment free from dust with good air ventilation.

- Once the dryer is installed, the connections must remain intact. When installing the tumble dryer, ensure the rear surface is not pressed against any objects (tap, socket, etc.).

- The operating temperature of the dryer ranges from 5° C to 35° C. When operating at temperatures outside this range, the operation may be adversely affected and the product may be damaged. If the ambient temperature is below 0° C, the dryer may be damaged by freezing.

• Be careful when transporting the dryer. Always wear safety gloves.
• Do not place the dryer on the power cable.
• Do not place hot and heavy objects on top of the dryer.
• Do not misuse it, do not stand, sit or place any heavy object on the door of the dryer.
• Do not attempt to open the door while the dryer is in operation as there is a risk of burns. Do not leave the door open, as it could cause accidents.
• The tumble dryer door should only be opened after the drying programme has finished. Do not force the controls.
• The dryer must only be used for its intended purpose as described in this manual.
• Do not use the tumble dryer if any parts are missing or broken or if any protections or panel have been removed.
• Do not touch the plug with your hands wet. Always pull the plug to disconnect the product, otherwise you may suffer an electric shock.
• Do not use the dryer with wet hands or wet bare feet.
• Unplug the dryer if it will not be used for a considerable period of time and during installation, maintenance, cleaning and repair work. Failure to do so may damage the dryer.
• The socket must be accessible at all times after the installation.
• Check the power cord regularly for visible damage. If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the

official Cecotec Technical Support Service or similar qualified personnel to avoid risks.

- A damaged cord/plug may cause a fire or electric shock. When damaged, it must be replaced. This should only be carried out by qualified personnel, Cecotec or the after-sales service, in order to avoid danger.

- To prevent any risk of fire or electric shock, do not use extension cords, power strips or adapters to connect the dryer to the mains.

- When the dryer is in operation, do not unplug the power cord. When not in use it is advisable to disconnect the plug, do not pull the power cord. Do not touch the power cable or plug with wet hands.

- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, as long as they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance of this appliance should not be carried out by children without supervision.

- Keep the packaging material out of the reach of children.

- Do not let unattended children come near the machine. Children could get trapped inside the appliance, which could lead to death.

- Keep children away from the machine while in use. The surface becomes extremely hot and could cause damage in the skin.

• Keep the cleaning material out of the reach of children. If detergent or cleaning materials are swallowed or come into contact with your skin or eyes, poisoning and irritation may occur.
• Do not allow children to seat or climb on or inside the product.

Product safety

- Due to the risk of fire, NEVER introduce in the dryer the following garments:

a. Do not load unwashed garments. b. Garments that have been stained with substances such as cooking oil, acetone, alcohol, petrol, paraffin, stain removers, turpentine, waxes or wax removers, must be washed in hot water with an extra amount of detergent before tumble drying.
c. Cleaning cloths and mats containing residues of flammable cleaning agents, acetone, gases, petrol, gasoline, stain removers, turpentine, waxes, wax removers, dry cleaning solvents or chemicals.
d. Garments with residues of hairspray, nail varnish remover and similar substances.
e. Garments that have been used for cleaning with industrial chemicals (as in chemical cleaning).
f. Garments containing parts or accessories with any type of foam, sponge, rubber or rubber-like material, such as latex foam sponges, shower caps, waterproof fabrics, custom-made clothing and foam pillows.
g. Garments with padding or damaged parts (pillows or

jackets). Foam released from these garments could cause a fire during the drying process.

• Using the dryer in environments containing flour or coal dust may cause an explosion.
• Wet laundry may be dried in the dryer only after tumble drying, i.e. no water should drip onto the electrical parts and damage the dryer causing a potential hazard.
• It is not advisable to introduce woollen fabrics or garments or leather materials. Plush and leather can be damaged and wool can shrink and deform.
• Do not dry garments labelled: do not tumble dry, hang to dry, wring out, dry at room temperature.
• Try to distribute the laundry evenly inside the drum to facilitate drying and to avoid noises.
• It is advisable to use similar fabrics for each drying cycle.
• When the tumble dryer is in operation, do not use flammable sprays near the tumble dryer. If a gas leak occurs, do not connect or disconnect the plug or switch on the machine.
• Do not store cigarettes, lighters, dry ice or other flammable and/or explosive materials inside the tumble dryer.
• ATTENTION: Underwear with metal reinforcements should not be put in the dryer. Damage to the dryer may occur if the metal reinforcements become detached or lost during drying.

Correct use

- ATTENTION: Make sure that no animals enter the dryer. Check the interior of the dryer before use.

- ATTENTION: Never stop the dryer before the end of the drying cycle unless all items are quickly removed and spread out to dissipate the heat.

- WARNING: The appliance must not be powered by an external switching device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off.

- ATTENTION: Overheating of the laundry inside the dryer may occur if you cancel the programme or in case of an electrical failure during the operation of the dryer. This heat concentration may cause combustion, so ensure laundry is promptly removed from the dryer to spread out and dissipate heat.

- Operate the appliance only for domestic use and for drying fabrics labelled as suitable for tumble drying. Any use other than that for which it is intended is prohibited.

- In case of commercial use, the warranty will be void.

- Do not lean or sit on the dryer door. The dryer could tip over.

- ATTENTION: Never operate the dryer without the filter or with a damaged filter.

- Lint should not be allowed to accumulate around the dryer.

2. Before use

• This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Remove the device from its box. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place. This will help you prevent damage to the appliance when transporting it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
• Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately.

- Do not remove the serial number of the product, in order to keep a correct traceability of your equipment in case of requesting assistance.

3. Installation

Be sure to follow the following instructions for proper installation and operation of your mini dryer:

• Adequate Location: Place the mini dryer in a well ventilated area and on a level and stable surface to avoid excessive vibration and noise during operation.
• Space Required: Refer to figure 2 to verify the dimensions of the tumble dryer and figure 3 to ensure the recommended minimum clearances around the tumble dryer:

○ Minimum lateral clearance: 10 cm
○ Minimum rear clearance: 15 cm
○ Minimum front clearance: 50 cm
○ Minimum headroom: 50 cm

• Electrical connection: Connect the tumble dryer to a suitable power socket. Make sure that the power cable is not bent or crushed.
  ● Safety: Do not place flammable objects near the tumble dryer and make sure that there are no obstructions in the air inlets and outlets.
• Accessibility: Make sure that the door of the tumble dryer can be opened fully and that the control panel is easily accessible.

Placing the shoe rack

Open the door, place the shoe rack inside the drum as shown in figure 4 and secure it before starting the Shoes mode.

Water tank

1. Remove the water tank from the top of the main body.
2. Open the silicone plug, fill the Water Tank with water, close the plug and reinstall the Water Tank in its upper housing.

3. The Water Tank is only used when Steam mode is activated.

4. During use, if water is missing, the low water indicator on the panel will light up.

Aromatic discs tank

1. Open the dryer's door. Push out the locking tab at the bottom of the aroma disc hopper and remove it.
2. Open the individual wrapping of the aromatic disc.
3. Place the aroma disc into the aroma disc hopper and press down firmly.
4. Fit the reservoir with the disc in the centre of the drum base; then push the locking tab towards the centre until it clicks into place.

Notes

• After installing the aromatic disc, avoid touching your eyes with your hands. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water.
  ● Store the scented discs in a cool, dry place, out of reach of children and pets.
• Aromatic discs are not intended for consumption. In case of accidental ingestion, seek medical attention immediately.
• Replace the aroma disc when the aroma diminishes. Its lifetime is subject to a number of factors, including frequency of use, selected drying programmes and general maintenance of the appliance. A new pack of 3 replacement discs can be purchased separately from Cecotec, to keep your laundry smelling nice: For optimal and safe performance, use only original Cecotec aroma discs.

4. Precautions and advice for use

Precautions

- Cecotec is not responsible for accidents that occur if the instructions in the manual are not followed.

Clothing precautions

• Do not dry non-heat-resistant garments such as wool, silk, leather, polyurethane and printed clothes.
• Do not dry items that affect the performance of the dryer such as electric blankets or sponges.
  ● Dry clothes in groups according to the material they are made of to avoid damage.
• Organise clothes by colour to prevent colour transfer.
  ● Place small items in a laundry net to prevent them from getting lost or damaged.

ENGLISH

● Garments with zips or metal should be dried inside a laundry net to avoid damaging other garments or the tumble dryer.

Tips on how to lay out clothes

• Make sure that the laundry is well spun before putting it in the dryer to improve drying efficiency.
• Place each garment evenly inside the tumble dryer to ensure even drying.
• Check that there are no objects stuck to the laundry, as they could remain on the garment after drying.
• Do not exceed 70% (approximately two thirds) of the rated capacity of the tumble dryer to avoid inefficient performance.
  ● Only washed garments may be dried.

Start-up

1. Connect the end of the power cord to the power socket at the rear.
2. When the dryer is plugged in, the display lights up. If there is no interaction for 5 minutes, the display turns off automatically.
3. With the dryer connected to the power socket and the display off, press the On/Off touch icon to turn the dryer on again.
4. Before inserting the laundry, make sure that it is well spun and drip-free. Place the garments neatly to avoid tangles. Close the door.
5. Press the touch icon of the desired mode to select it, then press the start/pause/child lock touch icon to start.
6. At the end of the programme, open the door and remove the laundry.

Touch icon Start/Pause/Child Lock

1. After selecting a mode, press this button once to start. During operation, briefly press this button to pause the mode.
2. Press and hold the icon for 3 seconds to activate the child lock once the programme has started. If you try to use the dryer when the lock is active, the dryer will beep twice and the KidLock indicator light will flash rapidly.
3. If not activated manually, the child lock is automatically activated after a certain period of operation. With the lock active, the screen cannot be operated until you unlock it.
4. To pause the child lock function, short press the start/pause/child lock touch icon.

Delay Start function:

1. Press this icon to select the desired programme
2. The touch icon time + and the touch icon time - allow you to set the delayed start of the programme. Press time + to increase the delay and time - to decrease the delay.

3. Press the start/pause/child lock icon to start the delayed start countdown. The Delay Start indicator light will come on.

4. When the delayed start time countdown reaches zero, the tumble dryer will start running the selected programme.

Note: In the AI (intelligent) and ECO programmes, the count is forward and not backward.

Adjusting the time of a programme

1. Click on the programme you want to run.
2. To start the programme later, set the Delay Start function with the touch icon time + (increase) and the touch icon time - (decrease).
3. Press the Time function touch icon repeatedly to increase the programme duration. Each press adds 10 minutes. The display will then show the duration of the programme.
4. Press the start/pause/child lock touch icon to start the programme, which will start at the end of the countdown (if you have set the delayed start).

Washing programmes:

1. Large: For large items (e.g. sheets, pillowcases and similar).
2. Small: Suitable for small garments (e.g. socks).
3. ECO: To achieve greater energy savings, adjust the time and reduce the heating. Clothes may be slightly damp when finished.
4. UV (ultraviolet light): No heating required; uses UVC light to reduce bacteria in clothing.
5. AI (intelligent programme): Automatically adjusts the drying time using temperature and humidity sensors according to the amount of laundry; stops when it detects that the laundry is dry.
6. Rapid: Fast drying for few light garments.
7. Shoes (drying of shoes): The drum does not rotate; place the shoe rack inside to dry shoes.
8. Refresh: No heating; helps reduce odours. Not recommended for drying.
9. Underwear: Specific programme for underwear and similar garments.
10. Soft (Sensitive clothing): Low temperature drying for heat sensitive fabrics.
11. Steam: oriented to reduce creases and care for small quantities of dry linen.

Clothes storage function: Once the cycle is finished, if you do not open the door to remove the laundry, the automatic conservation function will start, showing "-" on the display. At this time, the tumble dryer will enter standby mode and every 4 hours, the air drying mode will be activated, with fan and drum active (except in Shoes mode), for 5 minutes (the air drying indicator will light up), until after 24 hours, the conservation mode will end

automatically. If you open the door within 24 hours, the storage function is automatically terminated.

Interface logic and warnings

1. When plugged into a power outlet, the buzzer sounds and all indicators light up for 1 second. The dryer then enters standby mode. In standby status, the on/off touch icon flashes.
2. When switched on with the on/off touch icon, its indicator remains fixed and emits a sound. The last programme used is the one that is remembered; when the appliance is first switched on, the AI programme (intelligent programme) is selected and its indicator flashes.
3. When you select a programme, its indicator flashes; the others remain lit.
4. Press and hold the time - touch icon to activate/deactivate mute. The display shows "ON" when muting is active and "OF" when muting is deactivated.
5. When the lint filter cleaning indicator light flashes, you should perform lint filter cleaning as described in this manual. If the lint filter is not installed or not properly fitted, the lint filter indicator light remains steady.
6. If the door is opened during operation, the display shows "dor" flashing on the remaining time display, close the door.
7. Interior drum light: lights up for 2 minutes after switching on, switching off, pausing and opening the door.

Note:

1. The above drying time table has been tested under standard test conditions. The time will also vary according to the material, volume or weight of the laundry to be dried.
2. During the first few uses, a new smell may come from the drum. This is normal and does not indicate a defect. Disappears after several drying cycles. Use the device normally.
3. At the end of drying, please confirm that the dryer has stopped completely and remove the laundry.
4. Please note that static electricity may occur when removing clothing.
5. The machine can run for up to 4 hours in IA (intelligent programme) mode and will automatically switch off after 4 hours.

6. Cleaning and maintenance

Cleaning the lint filter

Precautions:

• Clean the Lint Filter after each cycle. Otherwise, the performance of the next drying will be affected.
• When the Lint Filter indicator on the panel flashes, the Lint Filter needs to be cleaned.
• If the Lint Filter is damaged, contact your service representative to replace it with the specific part.

Removing and cleaning the lint filter:

1. Open the Door and pull the Lint Filter upwards as shown in figure 8.
2. Open the Lint Filter as shown in figure 9 and remove the lint from inside. To avoid damaging it, use a soft brush; you can use a mild detergent.

Important: Do not install the lint filter when wet or damp. After cleaning, the Lint Filter must be completely dry before reinstallation.

If the Lint Filter is not installed or is installed in the wrong direction, the tumble dryer will not operate and the Lint Filter cleaning light will remain on steady.

Cleaning the air intake filter

1. Open the Air Intake Filter cover as shown in Figure 10 and remove the filter.
2. Wash it, dry it thoroughly and replace it.

Recommendations:

● Clean the Air Intake Filter once a month.
- If the filter is broken, replace it immediately.

Cleaning the appliance's interior and exterior

• Do not immerse the machine or any of its parts in water or any other liquid.
• Do not use petrol, alcohol or other solvents, or spray cleaners to clean the interior or exterior.
• If there are stains on the drum, wipe them off with a cloth.
  ● After each cycle, remove debris from inside the tumble dryer.
• Do not use abrasive or heavy duty cleaners that may damage it.

Precautions:

• At the end of use, unplug the power plug and clean only when the dryer is completely cool.
  ● Except for the Lint Filter and Air Intake Filter, do not disassemble the product.
• Do not dismantle, repair or modify the product; these operations should only be carried out by professionals authorised by Cecotec.

8. Disposal of old electrical and electronic appliances

This symbol indicates that, according to the applicable regulations, the

appliance and/or batteries must be disposed of separately from household waste. When this product reaches the end of its shelf life, you should dispose of the

batteries/accumulators and take them to a collection point designated by the local authorities.

Consumers must contact their local authorities or retailer for information concerning the correct disposal of old appliances and/or their batteries.
