How do I recharge the blower battery?

• The leaf blower is a tool designed to clean outdoor surfaces, such as gardens and patios, using a powerful air flow to blow leaves and light debris. It is not intended for blowing heavy or wet materials, nor for indoor use.

• WARNING: Do not touch dangerous moving parts before switching off the tool or until they have come to a complete stop.

• Switch off the tool and ensure that it is disconnected from the power supply in the following circumstances:

• Whenever you stop using the tool.
  • Before clearing an obstruction.
  • Before checking, cleaning or working on the tool.

• Before checking the tool for damage.
- If the tool starts to vibrate abnormally, stop using it and check immediately for damage.

• Do not connect a damaged cord to the power supply or touch a damaged cord before it has been disconnected from the power supply, as damaged cords can lead to contact with energised parts.
• Keep extension cords away from moving hazardous parts to avoid damage and contact with energised parts.
• Do not vacuum ashes from smoldering cigarettes, freshly cut metal shavings, screws, nails and the like.
• Never block the suction inlet or outlet.
• Connect the tool only to a power supply circuit protected by a residual current device (RCD) with a tripping current not exceeding 30 mA.
• Recommendation: Avoid using the tool in adverse weather conditions, especially when there is a risk of lightning.
• The tool can be used by people with physical, sensory or mental limitations or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the safe operation of the tool and understand the hazards involved.
• Never allow children to use the tool. Keep the tool and its charger out of the reach of children. Do not allow children to play with the tool.
• The battery may leak under extreme conditions. Do not touch any liquid that leaks from the battery. If the liquid comes into contact with skin, wash immediately with soap and water. If the liquid gets into the eyes, wash them immediately with clean water for a minimum of 10 minutes and seek medical attention. Wear gloves to handle the battery and dispose of it immediately in accordance with

local regulations.

- Avoid contact between the battery and small metallic objects such as paper clips, coins, keys, nails, or screws.

5. Training

a) Read the instructions carefully. Familiarise yourself with the proper use and operation of the machine.
b) Never allow people unfamiliar with these instructions to use the tool. Local regulations may restrict the age of the operator.
c) The operator or user is responsible for accidents or hazards that may occur to other people or their property.

6. Preparation

a) Obtain hearing protection and safety glasses. Wear them at all times while using the tool.
b) Always wear sturdy footwear and long trousers while operating the machine. Do not operate the tool barefoot or wearing open sandals. Avoid wearing loose-fitting clothing or clothing with dangling laces or ties.
c) Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery that can be sucked in through the air inlet. Keep long hair away from the air inlet.
d) Use the tool in the recommended position and only on a firm and level surface.
e) Do not operate the tool on a paved or gravel surface, as ejected material could cause injury.

g) Before use, check the power cord and extension cord for signs of damage or wear. If the cord is damaged during use, disconnect it from the power supply immediately. DO NOT TOUCH THE CORD BEFORE DISCONNECTING THE POWER. Do not use the machine if the cord is damaged or worn.
h) Never operate the tool while people, especially children, or pets are nearby.

7. Operation

d) Keep your feet firmly on the ground and maintain proper balance at all times. Do not lean forward. Never stand at a higher level than the base of the tool when using it.
e) Stay away from the material to be blown when using the tool.
k) Keep the battery compartment and connections free of dust and debris to ensure efficient operation and prevent overheating that could damage the battery.
l) Do not transport the tool while it is connected to a power socket.
m) Stop the tool and remove the battery. Make sure all moving parts have come to a complete stop before putting down the tool, clearing obstructions, unclogging the duct, or checking, cleaning, or performing any maintenance.
n) Do not tilt the tool while it is connected to a power socket.

8. Maintenance and storage

a) When stopping the tool for maintenance, inspection or storage, or to change an accessory, disconnect it from the power source, remove the battery and ensure all moving parts have come to a complete stop. Allow the tool to cool down

before carrying out any inspections, adjustments, etc. Take care of the tool and keep it clean.

b) Store the tool in a dry place, out of the reach of children.
c) Always allow the tool to cool down before storing.
e) Replace worn or damaged parts for safety. Use only original spare parts and accessories.
f) Never attempt to disable or modify the safety function of the guard. This function is designed to protect the user and ensure safe use of the leaf blower.

Safety instructions for battery chargers

• Danger! If the battery pack casing is cracked or damaged, do not insert it into the charger. Danger of electric shock or electrocution.
• The charger and battery pack are specifically designed to work together. Do not attempt to change the battery pack with chargers other than those indicated in this manual.
• Do not expose the charger to rain or snow.
• The charger is not intended for any use other than charging rechargeable batteries. Any other use may result in risk of fire, electric shock or electrocution.
• To reduce the risk of damaging the electrical plug and cord, pull the plug instead of the cord when disconnecting the charger.
• The charger is ventilated through slots in the top and bottom of the housing.
• Do not place any objects on top of the charger or place the charger on a soft surface that may block the ventilation slots and cause excessive internal heat. Place the charger in a position away from any heat source.
• Do not use the charger if it has received a sharp blow, been dropped or otherwise damaged in any way; take it to an

authorized service center.

• Do not disassemble the charger; take it to an authorized service center when service or repair is required. Incorrect assembly may result in risk of electric shock, electrocution or fire.
• To reduce the risk of electric shock, unplug the charger from the mains before cleaning. Removing the battery pack will not reduce this risk.
• Never try to connect 2 chargers together.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons to avoid hazards.

2. BEFORE USE

• This appliance comes in a packaging designed to protect it during transport. Remove the appliance from its box. You can keep the original box and other packaging materials in a safe place to prevent damage to the appliance if you need to transport it in the future. If you wish to dispose of the original packaging, make sure all items are recycled properly.

3. OPERATION

Assembly

Warning! Before assembly, make sure that the tool is switched off.

Nozzle assembly for blowing operations

1. Insert the pin located inside the nozzle into the notch provided in the blowing port.
2. To lock the nozzle in place, rotate the nozzle in the direction indicated.
3. To remove the nozzle, turn the nozzle in the opposite direction.

Dust collection nozzle and bag assembly

1. For dust collection, mount the dust bag on the blowing port and the nozzle on the suction port.
2. To remove the dust bag and nozzle, simply pull it out by first turning it in the opposite direction.
3. Empty the dust bag frequently to ensure maximum dust collection efficiency.
4. Adjust the variable speed knob according to different speed requirements.
5. When continuous operation is required, first press the switch and then the lock button.
6. Release to deactivate the lock; press and release the switch.

Fitting or removing the battery

To install or remove the battery, follow these steps:

1. First make sure that the tool is switched off.

2. Then, insert the battery by placing it on the guide rail and gently pushing it into the battery holder until you hear a "click".

3. To remove the battery from the tool, press the battery release button and extract it.

NOTE:

• Always insert the battery all the way in.
• When it is fully engaged, you will hear a click.
• If the battery is not fully inserted and is loose, it could accidentally fall out and cause injury.
• Do not use force when inserting the battery. If the battery does not slide in easily, this means that it is not being inserted correctly.

Warning: Make sure the battery is fully charged. The charger light will turn green when charging is complete.

Charging the battery

1. Connect the charger to a suitable power socket.
2. Locate the charging port on the battery and firmly insert the charger connector into it.
3. The indicator light on the charger will show the charging status.
4. Once the battery is fully charged, disconnect the charger from the power socket and remove the battery connector.

Notes:

• The battery pack should be recharged when it is no longer capable of producing sufficient power for jobs that were previously easily performed. Do not continue to use the tool under these conditions. Follow the charging procedure.
• Under certain conditions, with the charger plugged into the outlet, the exposed charging contacts inside the charger may be short-circuited by foreign material. Foreign materials of a conductive nature, such as, but not limited to, steel wool, aluminum foil or any accumulation of metallic particles, should be kept away from the charger cavities.
• Always unplug the charger from the outlet when there is no battery pack in the cavity. Unplug the charger before attempting to clean it.
• Do not allow any liquid to enter the interior of the charger. Doing so may result in electric shock.
• To facilitate cooling of the battery pack after use, avoid placing the charger or battery pack in a warm environment, such as in a metal shed.

4. TROUBLESHOOTING

The battery pack does not charge.	The charger is not plugged into the outlet.	Plug in the charger correctly.
	The power socket does not work.	Plug the charger into a different power socket.
	The battery pack or charger is damaged.	Contact Cecotec's Official Technical Support Service.
	The battery pack is too hot or too cold.	Allow the battery pack to reach room temperature before charging.
Low suction (in suction mode).	The dust collection bag is full.	Empty the dust collection bag.
	The dust collection bag is not installed correctly.	Make sure that the dust collection bag is properly attached.
	The suction port or nozzle is blocked.	Turn off the tool, remove the battery and clean the suction port and nozzle.

5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

The blower has been designed to operate for a long period of time with minimal maintenance. Continued satisfactory operation depends on proper tool care and regular cleaning.

Warning! Before performing any maintenance, switch off and unplug the tool.

• Regularly clean the ventilation slots of your tool with a soft brush or dry cloth.
• Clean the motor housing regularly with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive or solvent-based cleaners.

6. DISPOSAL OF OLD ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC APPLIANCES
