- This appliance is designed for domestic use only and is not intended for bars, restaurants, farmhouses, hotels, motels, and offices.
- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years old and above and people with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be carried out by children unless they are over 8 years old and are under supervision.

- Do not immerse the cable, plug, or any part of the appliance in water or any other liquid. Do not expose the electrical connections to water. Make sure your hands are dry before handling the plug or switching on the appliance.
- Ensure that the mains voltage matches the voltage specified on the appliance marking and that the mains plug is earthed.
- Do not use the appliance if the cable, plug, or frame is damaged or if it is malfunctioning, has been dropped, or damaged.
- Do not twist, bend, pull, or damage the power cable. Protect it from sharp edges and heat sources. Do not allow the cable to touch hot surfaces. Do not let the cable hang over the edge of the working surface or worktop.
- Do not leave the appliance unattended during operation. Unplug the appliance from the wall socket when you have finished using it, when you leave the room where it is located, when it is not being used, and before cleaning it. Pull from the plug, not the cable, to disconnect it from the outlet.
- This appliance is designed for toasting unseasoned bread only. Do not use it for any other purpose, and follow the instructions described in this manual. Do not toast moist foods or bread spread with butter, jam, glaze, or any other
condiments in the toaster, as this may cause fire or smoke.
- Ensure there is enough space above the appliance and on both sides to provide proper air circulation.
- Do not cover the toaster with aluminium foil or similar materials.
- Do not insert objects (utensils, fingers, or any other foreign object) into the appliance, as this may cause fire, electric shock, or injury.
- If the appliance does not work properly or if you notice fire or smoke, switch it off immediately and unplug the appliance from the mains.
- Do not try to repair the appliance by yourself. Contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service in case of doubt.

2. BEFORE USE
- This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the appliance out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place to prevent damage to the device if you need to transport it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
- Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately.

3. OPERATION
- Check that the crumb tray is correctly fitted.
- Before toasting for the first time, perform 1 or 2 heating cycles to remove moisture and odours from the appliance. It is normal for smoke or odours to be released during operation.
- Do not put large food, aluminium foil, packaging or cutlery into the toaster to avoid fire or electric shock.
- When the appliance is in operation, it may cause fire if it is covered or comes into contact with flammable materials such as electric cables, curtains, walls, cabinets, etc.
- Do not touch the hot surface of the toaster or press your fingers into the slots of the toaster.
- Make sure that the power cable does not hang over the edge of a table or touch a hot surface.
- Do not attempt to move the bread while it is being toasted.
- Do not try to cover the bread with ingredients that may melt or drip into the toaster.
- Do not toast broken slices of bread.
- Do not place buttered bread or wrapped food in the toaster.
- Do not toast pastries, mini French breads, etc.
- Do not toast bread less than 2.5 cm thick.
- Do not toast bread longer than 10 centimetres.
- Do not cover the appliance when in use.
- Do not place paper, cardboard, plastic or cloth inside the appliance or on the top or bottom of the appliance.
- Do not use the toaster to cook, grill or defrost anything other than the recommended frozen products (bread, bagels, waffles, English muffins, toasted pastries). Do not put objects other than food into the toaster.
- Do not toast food not recommended for this appliance. Recommended foods are bread, bagels, waffles, English breakfast muffins and pastries.

- Type of bread: regular bread, bagel, waffles, pastries and muffins.
- Modes:
a. Fresh: for fresh bread.
b. Frozen: defrosts bread and then toasts it.
c. Reheat: if the bread is cold, this mode heats the bread for 15 seconds.
- Toasting level: 1-7 toasting levels.
- Heating element selection and time setting: it is possible to set the time of the 2 central heating elements or the 2 side heating elements and to select whether they are to be operated at the same time.
- Start icon: press to start toasting bread.
To start the toaster, follow the steps below:
- To start using the toaster, first choose the type of bread you want to toast.
- Then, select the toasting mode of your choice.
- Set the desired toasting level.
- Press the settings symbol to select the heating element.

Finally, press the START icon to start toasting.

Before the first use, try one or twice to warm up the empty toaster, without putting the bread in, in order to remove moisture and odour from the inside of the appliance. It is normal for smoke or odour to be emitted during the process.
- It is recommended to toast slices of no more than 10 centimetres in length, otherwise the part protruding from the slots will not be toasted.
ENGLISH
- Switch on the toaster, the main menu will be displayed. You will see the bread symbol flashing. You must first press it to activate the display, otherwise you will not be able to access the rest of the functions.
- If the display has not been pressed within 30 seconds, the bread symbol will flash again until you press it.
- If you do not operate the appliance for more than 3 minutes, it will enter standby mode. It is necessary to press the display to access the main menu and also access the rest of the functions.
- When you have finished toasting the bread, do not allow more than three minutes to pass so the second toasting takes less time. Otherwise, the appliance will cool down.
Functions
Once you have started toasting the bread by pressing the START icon, the following functions can be selected on the display:
Toasting level check
By activating this function, the slots will rise, so that you can check if the bread is toasted to your liking. After 2 seconds, they will automatically lower to continue toasting.
Keep warm function
The maximum operating time of this function is 30 minutes. When the function is activated, the bread will automatically enter the Keep warm mode after toasting.
Cancel icon
It is possible to stop toasting at any time.
System settings
To access the functions, you must first select the type of bread you wish to toast.
Once chosen, you can press the settings icon ⚙️ at the bottom right of the display.
The following settings are available:
- If the "Time & Date" setting is activated, the display will show the time and date the appliance will enter standby mode.
- Set the time and date, select the time and date.
- Adjust the volume and brightness to suit your needs.
- Large bagel: activate this function if you need to toast a bagel.
- Customisation: activate this function to access the customisable toasting menu and select the desired time and heating element to be used (central or side).
- Language: choose the desired language.
4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Before cleaning the toaster, unplug it from the socket and allow it to cool down sufficiently.
- Use a slightly damp cloth to clean the outside of the appliance.
- Do not use abrasive detergents or scouring pads.
- Take out the crumb tray, remove any bread residues and put it back into the toaster. Repeat the process regularly.
- After making sure that the toaster is disconnected from the mains, remove any leftover bread inside the toaster. Most of the crumbs will have fallen into the tray, but it is possible that some small pieces may have got caught in the grid; try to remove them.
- Store the toaster in a clean, dry place when not in use. Make sure the product is clean and dry.
- It is recommended to store the product in its original box to protect it from dust if it is not going to be used for a long period of time.
- Do not immerse the toaster in water or pour water over it to clean it.
- Do not use sharp tools or cleaning agents to clean the appliance.
This appliance complies with the relevant safety measures and has been designed in accordance with the latest technical safety standards.


5. TROUBLESHOOTING
- The appliance does not respond to press, the display blocks.
Cause and solution 1: the appliance cannot continue with the next step if the flashing bread symbol is not pressed to activate the display. Press the bread symbol and continue with the next step.

Cause and solution 2: the appliance has overheated, which causes slow operation.
Solution: Unplug the toaster, wait for it to cool down and plug it in again to restart it.
- During operation, smoke comes out of the toaster.
Cause and solution 1: the temperature of the selected mode is too high for the type of bread used. Cancel the selected mode, select an appropriate mode to resume toasting.
Cause and solution 2: there is food residue in the appliance or on the slot surface, clean it and restart the toaster.
Cause and solution 3: the crumb tray is full. Clean the crumb tray and restart the toaster.
Cause and solution 4: the oil or sugar content of the bread is too high. Choose a suitable type of bread or select a gentle toasting mode and restart the appliance.
- Once toasted, the appliance does not lift the bread.
Cause and solution 1: the bread is too big and is stuck in the slot. Switch off the power, wait for the appliance to cool down, remove the bread with tongs and restart the toaster.
Cause and solution 2: the appliance crashes. Switch off the power, wait for the appliance to cool down, remove the bread with tongs and restart the toaster.
- The machine does not work.
Cause: there may be a problem with the internal wiring.
Solution: contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service.
