How to lock the remote control of the air conditioner?

Go to the quick menu and select "Remote lock". Confirm with the ▼ key. To unlock, press any key and enter the PIN code (default 0000). If you forgot the code, turn off the unit, press the specific keys (see manual) and select "Reset".

What to do if the remote control screen displays an error code?

Note the error code. You can use the quick menu "Error code reset" to reset the system. If the error persists, consult the full manual or contact an authorized technician.

How to use Turbo mode to heat or cool faster?

In the quick menu, select "Turbo Heating" (or "Powerful mode"). Press ▼ to activate. Turbo mode starts about 1 minute later. It automatically deactivates when the unit is turned off.

Can I program the air conditioner to turn on at a specific time each day?

Yes, use the quick menu "Weekly prog.". You can set up to 6 programs per day with time and temperature. Select the desired days, time, mode, and temperature.

How to clean the filters of the indoor unit?

Turn off the unit and open the front panel. Remove the filters (usually two). Clean them with a vacuum cleaner or with warm soapy water. Let them dry completely before reinstalling. Do this every 3 months.

Why is the heating not working even though the heat pump is in heating mode?

Check that the selected mode is heating and not cooling. If the outdoor temperature is very low, the system may use the backup electric heater. Make sure that the "Force backup heating" mode is not accidentally disabled.

Does silent mode reduce performance?

Silent mode reduces the fan speed for quieter operation. Heating/cooling performance may be slightly reduced, but this allows for optimal acoustic comfort, especially at night.

How to force defrost of frozen pipes?

In the quick menu, select "Force defrost" and confirm. The system will start a defrost cycle. Make sure the unit is in standby (off) before launching this function.

The outdoor unit makes a gurgling noise, is this normal?

Yes, it is normal. It is the sound of refrigerant circulating. This phenomenon is more common in heating mode. If the noise becomes very loud, check that the unit is properly installed and that there is no obstruction.

What to do if the remote control no longer responds?

Check the batteries and replace them if necessary. Make sure there is no obstacle between the remote control and the receiver. If the lock is active, unlock with the PIN code. As a last resort, turn off the circuit breaker for a few minutes and then turn it back on.

After the initial settings have been completed, you can select a quick menu from the following options and edit the setting.

Force DHW

Select this icon to turn the Tank DHW on or off.

Press ↓ to confirm your selection.

• Force DHW is disabled when Force Heater is turned on.
• When Force DHW is turned off, operation & mode should change back to the previous memorized status.

Powerful

Select this icon to operate the heating/cooling system powerfully.

Press ↓ to confirm your selection.

(The powerful operation starts approximately 1 minute after ← is pressed.)

• Powerful is disabled when operation is turned OFF.

Quiet

Select this icon to operate quietly.

Press ← to confirm your selection.

(The quiet operation starts approximately 1 minute after ← is pressed.)

• If the time overlaps with another pattern, "Set time is overlapped!" will appear on the screen.

Force Heater

Select to force the Heater on.

Press ← to confirm your selection.

(The Force Heater mode starts approximately 1 minute after ← is pressed.)

Note:

• Force Heater is disabled whenever operation is already on and 'Disabled due to operation ON!' will be displayed.

Weekly Timer

Select this icon to delete (cancel) or change the pre-set Weekly Timer.

Press the down arrow to confirm your selection.

Select "Yes".

• If you select "No", the screen will return to the Main Screen.

• Timer setup: Select Timer setup to edit the Weekly Timer.
• Timer copy: Select to copy a timer setting.

Select the day(s) which you wish to edit using the up and down arrow buttons.

If all 6 patterns are not preset, this screen will be displayed.

1. Select pattern "1" to "6". 2. Set the hour and minutes of the Timer. 3. Select ON/OFF of the Timer. 4. Select the operation mode.

• Select mode using the up and down arrow buttons.

5. Set the temperature for both Zone 1 and 2 (if your system has the 2-Zone setting).

Note:

• Timer is disabled when Force Heater is turned on or Heat-Cool SW is enabled.
• If you have preset the Weekly Timer on 2 zones, you must repeat the same procedure with Zone 2.

Select to defrost the frozen pipes.

Press ↓ to confirm your selection.

(When the mode is accepted, below screen will be displayed.)

Select to restore the previous settings when error has occurred.

Select to lock the Remote Controller.
