We congratulate you on the purchase of your new product. You have chosen a high quality product. The instructions for use are part of the product. They contain important information concerning safety, use and disposal. Before using the product, please familiarise yourself with all of the safety information and instructions for use. Only use the product as described and for the specified applications. If you pass the product on to anyone else, please ensure that you also pass on all the documentation with it.
Intended use
This product is designed for stirring and kneading dough, mixing liquids, and whipping cream. Do not use the product for any other purpose. This product is intended for private household use only, not for commercial purposes. The manufacturer accepts no liability for damages caused by improper use.
- Scope of delivery
After unpacking the product, check that the delivery is complete and that all parts are in good condition. Remove all packaging materials before use.

In the case of damage resulting from non-compliance with these operating instructions the warranty claim becomes invalid! No liability is accepted for consequential damage! In the case of material damage or personal injury caused by incorrect handling or non-compliance with the safety instructions, no liability is accepted!

Never leave children unsupervised with the packaging material. The packaging material represents a danger of suffocation.
Children frequently underestimate the dangers. Always keep children away from the packaging material.
■ This product shall not be used by children. - Keep the product and its mains cord out of reach of children. ■ Children shall not play with the product.
The product can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.
Intended use
⚠ WARNING! Potential injury from misuse.
■ Use this product solely in accordance with these instructions. Do not attempt to modify the product in any way. ■ Switch off the product and disconnect from supply before changing accessories or approaching parts that move in use.
Electrical safety
■ Always hold the mains cord by the mains plug, do not pull by the mains cord itself. - Do not place furniture or other heavy objects on the mains cord and be sure not to bend it, especially at the mains plug. ■ To avoid damaging the product, do not lay the mains cord over hot or sharp places or edges. - Do not use adapter plugs or extension cables which do not meet the applicable safety standards and do not manipulate the mains cord! If the mains cord is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer, service agent or a similarly qualified person, in order to avoid hazards. ■ Never make a knot in the mains cord and do not tie it together with other cables.
The mains cord should be positioned so nobody can step on or be hindered by it. There is a risk of injury. Repairs are required if the product is damaged, liquids or objects have entered the housing, it has been exposed to rain or moisture, or if it is not working properly or has been dropped. In the event of smoke, unusual noises or odours, immediately remove the mains cord of the product from the mains outlet. In these cases, discontinue use of the product and have it inspected by an expert. Only allow the manufacturer, service agent or a similarly qualified person to carry out any repairs. Never open the housing of the product. Stop using the product if the product or the accessories are damaged.
WARNING! Ensure that:
no direct sources of heat (e.g. heaters) are affecting the product;
no direct sunlight or strong artificial light is hitting the product;
contact with spraying or dripping water and aggressive liquids is avoided;
the product is not operated near water, and most importantly, the product must not be submerged in liquid.
Do not place objects filled with liquids, e.g. vases or beverages, on or next to the product;
no open fire sources (e.g. burning candles) are on or next to the product; no foreign objects have entered the product; the product is not exposed to excessive shock or vibration; the product is not exposed to extreme temperature fluctuations, as otherwise condensation can build up and lead to electrical short-circuiting. If the product is exposed to extreme temperature fluctuations, wait (approx. 2 hours) before starting it up, until it has reached room temperature.
Operation
CAUTION! Risk of injury!
Only use the accessory components included to operate the product.
Keep long hair, ties and items of loose clothing away from the product, as they may get caught.
The product must not be left unattended while it is connected to the mains supply.
Do not place the product on hot plates (gas, electric, coal cooking range etc.). Operate the product on a level, stable, clean and dry surface.
Only switch the product on when the beaters or dough hooks are correctly inserted and securely engaged.
Before connecting the mains plug to the mains supply, set the on/off switch to the 0 position.
⚠ NOTICE! Risk of damage to the product!
If the beaters or dough hooks are turning with difficulty or not turning at all: Switch off the product immediately and remove the mains plug from the mains supply.
Check if:
- there is something in the bowl blocking movement
- the food is too tough
- the beaters or dough hooks are inserted correctly
The product is designed for a maximum operation time of 10 minutes without interruption. After this, the product must remain switched off until it has cooled down to room temperature.
Cleaning and storage
⚠ WARNING! Risk of injury!
Always disconnect the product from the mains supply if it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling, or cleaning.
- Do not immerse the product in water or other liquids. Never hold the product under running water.
- Do not pull the mains plug out of the mains outlet by the mains cord. Protect the product, its mains cord, and mains plug against dust, direct sunlight, dripping and splashing water. Store the product in a cool, dry place, protected from moisture and out of the reach of children. Protect the product against heat. Do not place the product close to open flames or heat sources such as stoves or heating appliances.

● Unpacking the product and basic cleaning
- Take the product out of the packaging and remove all packaging materials and plastic wrappings.
- Check to make sure that all listed parts are included (see "Scope of delivery").
- Check whether the product and all parts are in good condition. If any damage or defect is detected, do not use the product, but follow the procedure described in the chapter "Warranty".
- Before first use, clean all parts of the product as described in the chapter "Cleaning".

Inserting beaters/dough hooks
- Insert the beater 10 or the dough hook 12 with the marking ring 11 into the larger opening 7a.
- Insert the remaining beater 10 or the dough hook 12 into the smaller opening 7b. Both beaters/dough hooks must firmly engage in position.
Removing beaters/dough hooks
- Set the on/off switch 3 to position 0.
- Remove the mains plug 8 from the mains outlet.
- Push down the eject button 4 completely. The beaters 10/dough hooks 12 are ejected.
Mixing/kneading

Before connecting the mains plug 8 to the mains outlet: Set the on/off switch 3 to position 0. ☐ For short breaks: Switch off the product. Place the product on the base side 9. □ Clean the product immediately after use.
- Immerse the beaters 10 or the dough hooks 12 into the food.
- Switching on: Set the on/off switch 3 to position 1.
- Select the desired speed level according to the consistency of the food to be mixed.
- Switching off: Set the on/off switch 3 to position 0.
- Remove the mains plug 8 from the mains outlet.
- Remove the beaters 10 or the dough hooks 12 from the food and hold over a bowl or a wash basin.

Braided yeast bun

Preparation
- Mix the flour with the salt and the sugar in a bowl. Put the butter on top.
- Knead the dough with the dough hooks 12.
- Crumble the fresh yeast or sprinkle the dry yeast over the dough. Add the milk.
- Knead the dough with the dough hooks 12.
- Cover the dough. Allow the dough to rise in a warm place for approx. 1 hour.
- Knead the dough with your hands. Divide the dough into 3 equal pieces.
- Form 3 equally thick strands.
- Form a braid from the 3 strands.
- Place the braid on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
- Brush the braid with the egg yolk. Sprinkle the braid with coarse sugar.
- Bake the braided bun on the middle shelf at +160 °C for approx. 30 minutes.
Simple sponge cake

Preparation
- Preheat an oven at +160 °C.
- Place the butter with the sugar, vanilla sugar, milk and eggs into a bowl.
- Mix the batter with the beaters 10.
- Mix the baking powder with the flour. Add the dry mixture to the batter.
- Mix the batter with the beaters 10 until a smooth dough is formed.
- Grease a cake tin with butter.
- Fill the dough into the cake tin.
- Bake the cake at +160 °C for approx. 40 minutes.
- After baking: Remove the cake tin from the oven. Let the cake cool for approx. 5 minutes.
- Turn out the cake tin. Sprinkle the cake with a little icing sugar.
Meringues

Preparation
- Preheat an oven at +120 °C.
- Beat the egg whites with the beaters 10.
- Gradually add the sugar until the beaten egg whites are stiff.
- Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- Put the mixture into a piping bag.
- Pipe the mixture in the desired shape onto the baking paper.
- Depending on the size and the shape of the piped forms: Let the mixture dry in the oven for approx. 80 to 100 minutes.
- Lemon quark cream

Preparation
- Separate the yolks from the egg whites of both eggs.
- Use the beaters 10 to whip the egg yolks together with the quark, sugar, lemon zest and vanilla sugar until foamy.
- Use the beaters 10 to whip the egg whites with the lemon juice until stiff. Fold the mixture into the cream.
- Pour the lemon cream into well-chilled glasses or dessert bowls.
- Sprinkle the lemon cream with chocolate shavings.
- Chill the lemon cream before serving.
Yoghurt dressing

Preparation
- Put the yoghurt into a bowl.
- Add the vinegar, oil, mustard, salt and sugar.
- Mix the dressing with the beaters 10.
- Refine the dressing with garlic, chives or mixed herbs.

Chocolate cream

Ingredients

Preparation
- Boil the cream.
- Crumble the chocolate into the cream and slowly melt it at low heat.
- Scrape out the pulp of the vanilla pod. Stir the pulp into the mixture.
- Place the mixture in the fridge. Allow the mixture to cool down completely and to go solid.
- Before serving: Use the beaters 10 to stir up the mixture.
- Serve the chocolate cream with fresh fruit.

Mayonnaise

Ingredients

| 15 g Mild vinegar or lemon juice | |
| 250 ml Neutral vegetable oil(e.g. rapeseed oil) | |

Preparation
- Put the egg yolk and the vinegar/lemon juice into a measuring cup.
- Hold the beaters 10 vertically in the beaker. Switch on the product.
- Push and hold TURBO 2. Slowly add the oil in a thin, uniform stream (within approx. 2.5 minutes) to mix the oil with the other ingredients.
- Season the mayonnaise to taste with salt and pepper.

Crêpes

Ingredients

| 200 ml Skimmed milk | |
| 50 ml | Water |
| - Neutral vegetable oil(for greasing the pan) | |
Preparation
- Mix flour, sugar, vanilla sugar and salt in a mixing bowl. Make a small depression in the middle.
- Pour the egg into the depression.
- Starting from the center, whisk with the beaters 10 on speed level 1 to 2.
- Gradually add milk and water to the mixture.
- When a smooth batter has formed: Switch to speed level 3 to 4.
- Let the batter rest for approx. 1 hour.
- Stir the batter vigorously and check the consistency. The consistency of the batter should be similar to coffee cream.
- Heat a large coated frying pan with a shallow rim and grease the pan with a little oil.
- Add some of the batter into the pan. Bake thin crêpes on both sides for approx. 30 seconds.
- Fill the crêpes with sweet fillings, e.g.:
- Sugar, cinnamon and sugar
- Apple sauce
- Nut nougat creme
- Halved banana and chocolate sauce Jam, jelly, plum jam, compote
- Pieces of fresh fruit
- Ice cream
Pizza dough

Ingredients

| 3/4 tsp Salt |
| 1/2 cube Yeast (fresh) |
| 1/2 tsp Sugar |
| 120 ml Water (warm) |
| - Flour (for kneading and rolling) |
Preparation
- Mix the flour and salt in a mixing bowl. Make a depression in the center.
- Mash the yeast and sugar in the water with a fork. Stir until everything is dissolved. Pour this mixture into the depression.
- Use the dough hooks 12 on speed level 1 to 2 until large lumps of dough have formed.
- Continue kneading by hand until the dough becomes smooth.
- Form a ball of dough and leave the dough to rise under a cover in a warm place until the dough has doubled in size.
- Knead the dough once more.
- Roll out the dough and cover the dough as desired.
Pear tarte tatin

Ingredients for the dough

Ingredients for the almond paste

Preparation
Tart base:
- Put all ingredients for the dough into a mixing bowl.
- Mix with the dough hooks 12 on speed level 2 to 3 until large lumps have formed.
- Quickly knead the dough by hand into a ball. Roll out the dough with a little flour between 2 sheets of baking paper.
- Line a greased tart mould with the dough. Cut off the protruding edge.
- Place the tart in the refrigerator for approx. 30 minutes.
- Prick the base of the dough several times with a fork.
- Place a piece of baking paper on the dough. Fill the mould with dried peas or rice to weigh down the dough.
- Bake the tart at +120 °C for approx. 15 minutes.
- Remove the peas/rice from the tart and bake the tart for another 10 to 15 minutes.
Almond paste:
- Beat the butter, sugar and eggs with the beaters 10. Increase the speed to speed level 5.
- Decrease the speed to speed level 3. Briefly stir in the almonds.
- Pour the almond mixture onto the cooled tart base.
- Peel the pears, remove the core and cut the pears into slices. Place the pears on the almond paste.
- Bake at +170 °C for approx. 35 minutes.
Cleaning
⚠️ DANGER! Risk of electric shock!
Before cleaning: Always disconnect the mains plug 8 from the mains outlet. Do not immerse the product's electrical components in water or other liquids. Never hold the product under running water. Do not allow water or other liquids to enter the interior of the hand mixer 5.

- Do not use abrasive, aggressive cleaning agents or hard brushes.

To protect the environment, please dispose of the product properly when it has reached the end of its useful life and not in the household waste. Information on collection points and their opening hours can be obtained from your local authority.
Warranty
The product has been manufactured to strict quality guidelines and meticulously examined before delivery. In the event of material or manufacturing defects you have legal rights against the retailer of this product. Your legal rights are not limited in any way by our warranty detailed below.
The warranty for this product is 3 years from the date of purchase. The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. Keep the original sales receipt in a safe location as this document is required as proof of purchase.
Any damage or defects already present at the time of purchase must be reported without delay after unpacking the product.
Should the product show any fault in materials or manufacture within 3 years from the date of purchase, we will repair or replace it – at our choice – free of charge to you. The warranty period is not extended as a result of a claim being granted. This also applies to replaced and repaired parts.
This warranty becomes void if the product has been damaged, or used or maintained improperly.
The warranty covers material or manufacturing defects. This warranty does not cover product parts subject to normal wear and tear, thus considered consumables (e.g. batteries, rechargeable batteries, tubes, cartridges), nor damage to fragile parts, e.g. switches or glass parts.
● Warranty claim procedure
To ensure quick processing of your claim, observe the following instructions:
Make sure to have the original sales receipt and the item number (IAN 451337_2310) available as proof of purchase.
You can find the item number on the rating plate, an engraving on the product, on the front page of the instruction manual (bottom left), or as a sticker on the rear or bottom of the product.
If functional or other defects occur, contact the service department listed below either by telephone or by e-mail.
Once the product has been recorded as defective you can return it free of charge to the service address that will be provided to you. Ensure to enclose the proof of purchase (sales receipt) and a short, written description outlining the details of the defect and when it occurred.
