How to install the TVHD40010 camera?

Attach the bracket to the wall or ceiling using the provided screws. Connect the BNC or Ethernet (PoE) cable to the recorder. Adjust the viewing angle manually. Refer to the diagram in the manual for connections.

What is the maximum night vision distance?

The camera has infrared LEDs offering a range of up to 30 meters in total darkness.

Is the camera waterproof?

Yes, it has an IP67 rating, making it completely resistant to dust and water jets. It can be installed outdoors.

Can I use this camera with a standard NVR recorder?

No, this camera is a TVI (Transport Video Interface) type and requires a compatible HD-TVI recorder or a converter. It does not work directly with an IP NVR.

How to reset the camera to factory settings?

Press and hold the reset button (located on the cable or at the back of the camera) for about 10 seconds while powering on. The settings revert to default values.

What type of cable is recommended for installation?

For video transmission, use a coaxial cable RG59 or equivalent. For PoE power, an Ethernet cable Cat5e or higher is recommended for a maximum distance of 100 meters.

Does the camera support motion detection?

Yes, it includes a motion detection function configurable via the recorder. You can set zones and sensitivity.

What is the maximum resolution of the camera?

• The camera must not be installed on unstable surfaces

General safety information:

• Do not leave packaging material lying around. Plastic bags, sheeting, polystyrene packaging, etc., can pose a danger to children if played with.
• The surveillance camera contains small parts which could be swallowed, and should be kept out of reach of children for safety reasons.
• Do not insert any objects into the device through the openings.
• Only use replacement devices and accessories that are approved by the manufacturer. Do not connect any non-compatible products.
• Please pay attention to the safety information and user guides for the other connected devices.
• Check the device for damage before commissioning. Do not put the device into operation if you detect any damage.
• Adhere to the operating voltage limits specified in the technical data. Higher voltages could destroy the device and pose a health risk (electric shock).

Safety information

1. Only operate this device on a power source which supplies the power specified on the type plate. If you are unsure which voltage is supplied at the installation location, contact your power supply company. Disconnect the device from the power supply before carrying out maintenance or installation work.
2. Overloading

Avoid overloading electrical sockets, extension cables, and adapters, as this can result in fires or electric shocks.

1. Cleaning

Only use a damp cloth to clean the device. Do not use corrosive cleaning materials.

Disconnect the device from the power supply while doing so.

Warnings

Observe all safety and operating instructions before putting the device into operation for the first time.

9. Use overvoltage protection to prevent damage caused by overvoltage (e.g. electrical storms).

10. Disconnect defective devices from the power immediately and contact your specialist dealer.

	During the installation into an existing video surveillance system make sure that all devices are disconnected from the low and supply voltage circuit.
	If in doubt allow a professional electrician to mount, install and wire-up your device. Improper electrical connection to the mains does not only represent at threat to you but also to other persons.Wire-up the entire system making sure that the mains and low voltage circuit remain separated and cannot come into contact with each other in normal use or due to any malfunctioning.

1. Intended use

The universal HD-SDI Tube IR 720p camera is designed for both daytime and night-time use. Thanks to its protection class IP66 it can used both inside and outside. The universal HD-SDI Tube IR 720p camera is equipped with a high-quality image sensor. It is used for video surveillance in conjunction with a recording device or surveillance monitor.

5. Mounting / installation

5.1 Mounting the camera

IMPORTANT!

The camera must be disconnected from the power supply during installation.

Use the accompanying drilling template when drilling the mounting holes and install the dowels. Guide the cable through the side opening and secure the camera with the accompanying screws.

5.2 Aligning the camera

The camera can be aligned in 3 axes.

Rotation: 0°–360°;

Loosen the rotary knob (1) in order to adjust the angle of rotation.

Tilt: 0^ - 90^

Loosen the rotary knob (1) in order to adjust the inclination.

Pan: 0^ - 360^

Loosen the rotary knob (1) in order to adjust the angle of view.

Do not forget to resecure the rotary knob!

5.3 Power supply

IMPORTANT!

Before starting installation, ensure that the power supply system voltage and the rated voltage of the camera are identical.

12 V DC (5.5 x 2.1 mm)

The cameras have a 12 V DC power supply. Ensure correct polarity when connecting. A plug-in power supply unit (round plug, 5.5 mm x 2.1 mm) is provided for the connection.

5.4 Installing the video cable

In order to transmit the video signal from the HD-SDI camera to an HD-SDI converter, monitor or recorder, an RG6 or RG59 coaxial cable with a BNC plug (male) must be connected to the video output. The cable length to the next device may not exceed 80 meters (RG59) or 150 meters (RG6). To increase the range, you can install suitable signal HD-SDI repeaters.

6. Maintenance and cleaning

6.1 Maintenance

Regularly check the product's physical state, e.g. check for damage of the housing.

If you suspect that safe operation cannot be guaranteed anymore, disconnect the product and ensure that it cannot be used by mistake. Remove the batteries.

You can assume that safe operation is not possible anymore when

• the device shows visible damage,
• the device does not function anymore

Please note:

The product is absolutely maintenance-free for you. There are no components on the inside of the product to be checked or services by you, never open it.

6.2 Cleaning

Wipe the product with a clean, dry cloth. If the device is very dirty, you can moisten the cloth with lukewarm water.

Ensure that no liquids can get into the device. Do not use any chemical cleaners, since they could damage the housing surface or the screen (discolorations).

7. Disposal

Important: The EU Directive 2002/96/EC regulates the proper return, treatment and recycling of used electronic devices. This symbol means that in the interest of environmental protection the device must be disposed of separately from household or industrial waste at the end of its service life in accordance with applicable local legal guidelines. Disposing of used devices can be done at official recycling centers in your country. Obey local regulations when disposing of material. Further details on returns (also for non-European countries) can be obtained at your local authority. Separate collection and recycling saves natural resources and ensures that all the provisions for protecting health and environment are observed when recycling the product.
