WARNINGS WARNING: Never leave the child unat- tended in the rocking cradle. WARNING: It is dangerous to use the re- clined cradle on an elevated surface, such as tables, chairs, etc. WARNING: Age of permitted use: from birth to 9 kg (6 months). WARNING: This product and all its compo- nents must be assembled by adults only. WARNING: This reclined cradle is not in- tended for prolonged periods of sleeping. WARNING: The reclined cradle does not re- place a cot or a bed. Should your child need to sleep, then it should be placed in a suit- able cot or bed. WARNING: Do not allow children to play unsupervised near the rocking cradle. WARNING: Do not use the reclined cradle if any components are broken or missing. WARNING: Do not use accessories or re- placement parts other than those approved by the manufacturer. WARNING: To prevent the risk of fire, never place the rocking cradle near electrical applianc- es, gas cookers or other sources of intense heat.

WARNING: Make sure that the cover is al- ways fitted correctly on the rocking cradle frame.

WARNING: Never use this rocking cradle to carry a child in motorised vehicles. WARNING: Always check that all the com- ponents are fitted and assembled correctly. WARNING: Periodically check for worn parts, loose screws, worn or frayed fabrics and im- mediately replace any damaged parts. WARNING: Do not place the rocking cradle with the child inside near windows or walls, where strings, curtains or other objects may be used by the child to climb out of the rocking cradle, with consequent risk of suffocation and/or choking.

WARNING: Do not place the rocking cradle near windows or walls, to prevent the child from affecting the stability of the rocking cradle, making it topple over.

WARNING: Make sure the MP3 player vol- ume level is set to medium.

WARNING: Do not use cable extensions when connecting the Mp3 device. WARNING: When the Mp3 device is con- nected, it is recommended to insert it in- side the side pouch so it remains out of the child's reach.

WARNING: Make sure the child is not in- side the rocking cradle when you carry the rocking cradle.

SAFETY OF THE ELECTRICAL PARTS WARNING: Do not attach any string to lengthen the toy fasteners on the bar and do not make any knots or loops: This could cause accidental formation of running knots which could lead to strangulation. WARNING: This toy must only be used un- der adult supervision.

WARNING: Check the toy regularly for signs of wear and damage and to ensure that it is assembled correctly. Should any parts on the toy bar or hanging toy be damaged, do not use them and keep out of reach of children. WARNING: Batteries must only be fitted by an adult.

WARNING: Only use alkaline batteries of the same type or equivalent to the type re- commended for the correct functioning of this product. (for the toy: 2 LR6-AA).

WARNING: Make sure the batteries are fit- ted with their poles in the right direction. WARNING: Never mix new and old or diffe- rent types of batteries.

ASSEMBLY AND USER INSTRUCTIONS

1. Open the rocking cradle frame by holding onto the tube, as seen in diag. 1. Take hold of the backrest tube B and insert it in the end of the frame tube, as seen in diag. 2 until you hear it click into place WARNING: Always check that the safety harness straps are inser-

ted in the backrest tube before assembling the rocking cradle. 2. It is important to remember to always secure the fabric seat A to all fastener points on the frame: fasten the buttons on both si- des of the fabric to the frame, as seen in diag, 3 and 3A, until you hear them click into place. Fasten the fabric to tube K (see diag. 38) using the zip, making sure it is always closed correctiy.

WARNING: Always fasten the fabric onto the frame when using the product. Ifthe zip is not correctly fastened onto the frame tube, the Seat will not be able to withstand the weight of the baby.

3. The rocking crade seat is fitted with a removable booster cu- shion (c) for use when babies are very small. Place the booster cu- shion on the rocker seat, inserting the crotch strap through the slot on the booster cushion, and the clasps through the side slots on the cushion, as shown in diag. 4 and 4A. Slot the toothed ends of the safety harness into the clasps and check they are tight enough and in the right position (diagram 5). To release the safety harness, press the toothed ends and extract them from the clasp.

4. Fasten the toy bar onto the side joint until you hear place (diag. 6).

Music button: it plays soothing and relaxing tunes (5 different tunes

El button: to play New Age music (5 tunes and 3 nature sounds)

Mp3 function button: this activates the function to listen to tu- nes on your own media device {not Included); the mp3 device must be connected to the toy bar by using the cable on the ou ter side of the bar (diag, 10), and stored in its own practical side pocket when in use.

WARNING: The toy will switch off automatically after 15 minutes of inactiviy, if no buttons on the panel are pressed. Simply press the centre button to restar it.

8. The toy bar also has a removable fabric toy, When it is hooked onto the bar, it activates relaxing sounds when pulled.

REPLACING THE BATTERIES To replace batteries: Loosen the screw on the battery compartment cover with a screwdriver and open the cover. Then remove the spent batteries and fit new ones, paying attention that the poles are in the right direction (as shown on the product), close the bat- tery cover and tighten the screwr

This toy runs on 2 x 1.5 Volt “AA” batteries.

RECLINING THE BACKREST AND CLOSING THE ROCKING CRADLE

9. Handie H is used to recline the backrest to three different posi- tions (diag. 11)

0. To adjust the backrest. proceed as follows: get hold of the han- dle and press the release button (diag. 12) pulling it forwards to the desired position. There are 3 different reclining positions, when you hear the tube click into place it means it is fitted correctly (diag. 13). The handle is used to recline the backrest in a lower position. To raise the level simply lift the backrest upwards as shown in diag. 14.

WARNING: it is highly recommended to adjust the backrest wi- thout the baby in the rocking cradle.

1.To close the product, pull the closure lever Q outwards (as seen in diag. 15) and press the release button pulling the handle for- wards until it reaches the last position (diag. 15A)

FIXED OR ROCKING MODE

13. The rocking cradle has a “fixed and a ‘rocking” position To se- lect the rocking position, simply rotate feet | backward, following the directions of the arrow (diag:16). When you want to use the cking cradle in a fixed mode again, turn the handle in the opposite direction (diagram 164).

14.Itis possible to remove the seat cover and the booster cushion to wesh them: undo the hamness belts and remove the booster cu- shion from the crotch strap (diag. 17).

15. Slide the harness straps through the side slots in the fabric, open the zip (diag. 18) and buttons on the sides (diag. 19). Press the metal push pins, as seen in diag. 20, to release the backrest tube. When the tube has been released the fabric cover can then be removed.

WARNING: when the fabric cover is replaced on the frame, make sure that the tube is slotted through the opening at the inner top section of the backrest (diag. 21)
