To remove the canopy from your Nuna TRVL, follow these steps:

Unbutton the snaps located at the back of the canopy
Unbutton the snaps of the seat cover near the handle
Press the release buttons in the center of each canopy support
Pull the supports to remove them from the seat shell

No tools are required - just unfasten the attachments and use the release buttons. You will find detailed images on pages 78-79 of the Nuna TRVL manual.
