No, the GBC Fusion 3000L cannot operate without electrical power. It is a device that requires a 220-240 V AC electrical connection to function. There is no manual or battery operation mode.

The device uses electrical power (850 W) to heat its laminating rollers and power its touch control screen. You need to wait about 4 minutes after turning it on for the machine to be ready to laminate.

If you cannot access an electrical outlet or if the device does not turn on, you will need to resolve the electrical issue upstream. In case of mechanical malfunction (paper jam), the Fusion 3000L has an emergency manual release system that will allow you to remove your document without damaging the device.
