SAFETY WARNINGS
- After having removed the appliance from its packaging, verify its integrity based on the drawing and any presence of damage caused by transport. If in doubt, do not use the appliance and contact an authorised service centre.

- Do not let children play with the packaging! Keep the plastic bag out of the reach of children - risk of suffocation!
- Before connecting the appliance, check that the technical data (8F) match the mains supply. The identification technical data (8F) are found on the appliance and on the power supply/battery charger (if present).
- This appliance must be used only for the purpose for which it was designed, namely as a vacuum cleaner for home use. Any other use is considered not compliant and therefore dangerous.
- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the risks involved. Children must not play with the appliance. The appliance cannot be cleaned or serviced by children without adult supervision.
- DO NOT use the vacuum cleaner to vacuum:
- burning ashes, cigarette butts, etc.;
• liquids, such as carpet cleaners; - sharp or hard objects, such as nails or large glass shards;
- fine powder, such as cement;
- toner powder (for laser printers, copy machines, etc.).
- ✉ NEVER use the vacuum cleaner without inserting the dust bag, dust container or filter.
- DO NOT use the appliance with wet hands, damp feet or barefoot.
- DO NOT pull the power cable or the appliance itself to remove the plug from the socket.
- DO NOT expose the appliance to humidity or weather conditions (rain, sun, etc.).
• Always disconnect the appliance from the mains supply before cleaning or performing maintenance and when the appliance is not in use.
- If the appliance is faulty or malfunctions, switch it off and do not tamper with it. Any repairs must only be carried out by an authorised technical service centre.
- If the power cable is damaged it must be replaced by an authorised technical service centre, so as to prevent all risks.
- NEVER pull or lift the appliance by its cable.
- NEVER submerge the appliance in water or other liquids.

- NEVER direct the flexible hose, pipe or any other accessory towards eyes or ears and do not put them in your mouth when they are connected to the vacuum cleaner.
• Always use the appliance with a motor protection filter to prevent damaging the motor and the vacuum cleaner.

ATTENTION! Rotating parts in motion. Trapping hazard.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR SAFE USE OF THE BATTERIES
Contact Customer Service for information on having the batteries repaired or replaced.
- DO NOT charge the rechargeable batteries with equipment that is not specifically indicated for this purpose or in a different way from that described in the instructions.
- NEVER expose the batteries to excessive heat, such as that caused by sunlight, fire or similar sources as this poses a high risk of acid leaking from the batteries! Failure to comply with these instructions can damage the batteries and cause them to explode.
- DO NOT disassemble or short circuit the batteries or throw them in fire.

Always keep the batteries out of reach of children. If swallowed, batteries can cause lethal danger. Therefore, always keep the batteries in a place out of reach of small children. In the event a battery is swallowed, seek medical advice or the local poison control centre immediately.

The acid contained inside the batteries is corrosive. Avoid any contact with skin, eyes or clothes.
- Remove the batteries from the appliance before disposing of it.
- The appliance must be unplugged from the socket when the batteries are removed.
- Dispose of the batteries at a specific collection centre.

ASSEMBLY
- Loosen the fastening screw (3) of the handle (1) and remove it.
- Attach the handle (1) to the body of the appliance, taking care to assemble it correctly [Fig. B1].
- Insert the fastening screw (3) and tighten it clockwise [Fig. B2] using a screwdriver.
- Attach the turbo brush (7) to the suction connection (6) [Fig. B3].
- Put the various accessories (10B+10C+10D) on the accessory support 10A [Fig. B4].
- Secure the accessory support (10A) by pressing it gently into place on the back of the stick body [Fig. B5].
ACCESSORIES
Your appliance is equipped with the following attachments:
-
TURBO BRUSH (7): The TURBO BRUSH (7) is suitable for all surfaces: ceramic, marble, parquet and carpets.
• SET OF ACCESSORIES (10): -
Accessory support (10A): to store the accessories and attach them to the body of the stick.
• Dusting nozzle (10B). - Nozzle for crevices (10C): to clean corners and slots, such as radiators, skirting boards and blinds.
- Upholstery nozzle (10D): to clean sofas, armchairs, upholstered chairs and curtains.
PREPARATION
CHARGING THE BATTERY
- Make sure the appliance battery is low before recharging it.
- Make sure the appliance is set to OFF before recharging it.

- Fit the plug (4) into the recharge contact (8E) [Fig. C1].
- Connect the plug (4) to the socket.
- The ON/OFF key - Recharging light (9) flashes during recharging; when the appliance is completely charged the ON/OFF key - Recharging light (9) will stay on steady.
- When the appliance is completely charged the control circuit for the battery interrupts automatically, protecting it from any damage.
- It is completely normal for the plug to heat up during charging.
- Charge the appliance after each use to ensure it is always in good working order.
- For long periods of inactivity, disconnect the plug (4) to avoid dispersing any energy.
USE
USING IT AS A STICK VACUUM CLEANER
- Detach the plug (4) from the recharging contact (8E) [Fig. C1].
- Press the ON/OFF button (2) on the handle once to switch the vacuum cleaner on or off.
• The appliance and the turbo brush (7) will start up.

NOTE:
- A new appliance can develop odours the first few times it is used. These odours are harmless and disappear shortly afterwards. Ventilate the room.
- The transparent walls may become opaque with use.
- When you have finished using the appliance, press the ON/OFF button on the handle (2) to switch it off.
USING IT AS A MANUAL MINI-VACUUM
- Detach the plug (4) from the recharging contact (8E) [Fig. C1].
- Detach the mini-vacuum (8) from the body of the stick by pressing the release buttons (5) [Fig. D1].
- Attach the suitable accessory (10) for the surface requiring cleaning and connect it to the mini-vacuum [Fig. D2].
- Press the ON/OFF switch on the mini-vacuum (9) once to turn the vacuum cleaner on, and start cleaning.
- When you have finished using the appliance, press the ON/OFF button on the mini-vacuum (9) to switch it off.
- Put the mini-vacuum (8) back on the body of the stick vacuum and press the handle of the mini-vacuum until the click tells you that it is correctly in place [Fig. D1].
MAINTENANCE

ATTENTION! Turn the appliance off and take the plug out of the power socket before opening the dust collection system!
Make sure all cleaned parts are completely dry before reusing the appliance.

CLEANING THE APPLIANCE
- Detach the plug (4) from the recharging contact (8E).
- Switch the appliance off before cleaning it.
- When necessary, clean the appliance with a damp cloth.

DO NOT USE SOLVENTS OR OTHER AGGRESSIVE OR ABRASIVE DETERGENTS. THIS CAN DAMAGE THE SURFACE.
CLEANING THE DUST COLLECTION SYSTEM

ATTENTION! Empty the dust collection compartment (8B) and clean the filtering system (8C, 8D) after every use.
- Clean the dust collection system following the instructions below and paying attention to the figures in the illustrative guide.
- Detach the mini-vacuum (8) from the body of the stick by pressing the release buttons (5) [Fig. D1].
- Press the release button (8A) [Fig. E1] and take down the dust container (8B+8C+8D) [Fig. E2].
• Take out the filtering system (8C and 8D) [Fig. E3] and empty out the contents of the dust container (8B). - Separate the filter protection mesh (8C) from the cyclone filter (8D), and clean them by carefully shaking and brushing away the dust. To do so, use a soft brush to prevent any damage.
If suction does not increase after cleaning the dust collection compartment (8B) and the filtering system (8C+8D), replace filter 8D with a new one.

NOTE:
- Replace the filter in the event it is damaged or impossible to clean.
- Replace the filter at least once a year.
- Failure to clean or replace the filter will make the manufacturer's warranty null and void.
Put the filtering system (8C+8D) back inside the dust compartment (8B) and reattach it to the mini-vacuum (8), being careful to hook it onto the bottom fitting and making the release button click (8A).
CLEANING THE TURBO BRUSH
- Detach the turbo brush (7) from the suction inlet (6) by pressing the brush release button (7A).
- If the rotating brush (7C) is dirty with hair or fluff, remove the debris with a pair of scissors, being careful not to cut yourself. [Fig. E4].
- If the rotating brush (7C) is very dirty, it can be detached from the turbo brush (7).
- To detach it, turn the clamping screw of the rotating brush anti-clockwise (7B) and lift the rotating brush (7C).

- When you have finished cleaning it, put the rotating brush back in place (7C) by attaching it on the triangular shaped right side first, and then pushing it into place.
- Lastly, put the clamping screw back on the rotating brush (7B), turning it clockwise.
STORING AND CARING FOR THE PRODUCT
When the appliance is not being used, take the plug out (4) and store the appliance in a dry and dust-free place.

DISPOSAL
DISPOSAL PACKAGING

The product is packaged in recyclable materials. Dispose of packaging in accordance with the environmental protection standards.
PRODUCT DISPOSAL

The appliance must be disposed of in compliance with EU standard 2002/96/EC. The recyclable materials contained in the appliance must be collected to prevent environmental pollution. For further information, contact the local waste authority or the appliance retailer.
DISPOSING OF THE BATTERIES

This product contains a rechargeable Ni-MH battery.
Warning:
Do not dispose of the batteries in domestic waste: they must be disposed of separately.
- Remove the batteries from the appliance.
- Dispose of the batteries at a specific collection centre.

TAKING THE BATTERY OUT
To take the battery out and change it, contact an authorised IMETEC assistance centre.

To request repairs or purchase spare parts, please contact IMETEC's authorised customer service centre at the Toll-Free Number below or via the website.
The appliance is covered by the manufacturer warranty. For details, read the attached warranty sheet.
Failure to comply with the instructions for use and maintenance provided in this manual will render the manufacturer's warranty null and void.
