Special safety precautions
The saw's metal parts may become conductive if the saw comes into contact with a wire. Therefore only hold the saw by the insulated handle.
Never place the saw on a table or workbench if it has not stopped completely. The saw blade will continue to run a short time after the machine has been switched off.
The saw blade must not be touching anything before you start the saw.
Never stop the saw blade by applying pressure to the saw or to the side of the blade.
Do not use cracked, blunt or damaged blades.
Do not attempt to cut items thicker than the maximum cutting depth of the blade, or where there is insufficient space for the blade under the item.

Check that the ventilation slots are not blocked.
Always use a face mask if excessive amounts of dust are generated or cutting harmful materials. Always read safety instructions from the material manufacturer if supplied.
Do not touch the blade or metal fi lings until they have cooled.
NEVER fasten the saw with blade pointing upwards in a vice or clamp to use as a bench saw. Serious accidents can occur

Place the soleplate over the item so that the blade is horizontal above the saw line but not in contact.
Start the saw and tilt it carefully while supporting it using the soleplate until the blade touches the material at the saw line.
Allow the saw blade to work through the material and continue to tilt the saw until it is perpendicular to the material.
Sawing wood
Check that the item does not contain nails or other metal objects.
Sawing metal
We recommend lubricating the material and saw blade with cutting oil to protect the tool and avoid overheating. Support the item with wooden blocks on either side
Sawing plastic
Never cut using maximum speed
Make a test cut fi rst to check if the materia can tolerate the heat generated by sawing
Maintenance
Check all the screws on the saw regularly, and tighten if necessary.
Check regularly that the carbon brushes are in a good condition. If the carbon brushes are worn down, they should be replaced.
Cleaning
Wipe the saw using a well-wrung cloth as required, and always keep the surface and ventilation holes free of dirt.
Never use corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents, as they may attack the plastic parts of the saw.
